The storage area looks clean and well maintained. The loading dock was also clean, and we like the platform carts to help bring our things to the unit (very helpful). We also like the free lock and month when we signed up.

During pickup no one escorted me to the truck. I was handed the keys and told that I was good to go. After returning the U-Haul there was a discrepancy with the miles. I was moving two streets over on Fort. Knox and traveled less than 30 miles total as the U-Haul was only 7 miles to my house. I was charged for 180 miles. I believe the miles at pick up were incorrect. I was never told during pick up to validate the miles when I got into the u-haul or we would have discovered this problem. I’m military and move every two years and after this experience, I will never use U-Haul again.

The Lincoln Trail Radcliff U-Haul provides Excellent Service and clean and well-maintained vehicles. I live in Louisville, but continue to make the drive to Radcliff whenever I need a vehicle or other U-Haul moving or storage products. The staff there is always friendly and helpful so I will continue to make the drive.

Horrible experience with both places. Because of everything that happened we were set back 1.5 days on our trip to our new home to the point we ended up spending 3 days in a hotel due to not getting here on time to pick up keys on Friday afternoon. My family will never rent from uhaul again because of issues we experienced. I was told a manager would call me in 3 days to tell us what they would do to help with all the issues we had but never heard from anyone.

Seems like more employees have been hired and that's great. They are, for the most part, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Just need to work on greeting/acknowledging customers when they walk in and not just stand around chit-chatting with other pseudo-employees about their schedule and whatnot. Plus, and I cannot stress this enough, fix the GD layout of the showroom at the register entrances. It's unclear where to stand and when there are multiple customers it's not obvious where/how to line up and who's next etc etc. Get rid of the GD covid BS distance stickers on the floor and move the GD boxes out of the way! Rant over. Carry on.

I missed the link in the email that discussed low-sitting vehicles. We paid $100 for a trailer, drove for 4.5 hours to pick up a car, pulled in onto the trailer, then couldn't open the doors because of the wheel wells on the trailer. My wife had to drive the car back herself, another 4.5 hours, while I dragged an empty trailer. Since the vehicle information is in the reservation, maybe a popup window for the Uhaul rep to say something.

I was not able to access my unit x4 months because the lock was rusted. A man working there at the time told me I would have to pay 25$ for new lock and 10$ fee for sawing old lock off.
I found out after 4 months that the man, who no longer worked there had lied to me.

One-way trips should be calculated on the time that you actually use the equipment. I did not enjoy my overall experience due to the company calculating the time I needed. I paid for usage that was not needed for my travel.

The only one suggestion that I would give is that the timings are not too long to access the site so it is more likely to get everyone easily connected if the timing for access to your storage space 24\7

It was great at first with being a great choice with a great rate then came the constant rate hikes. Over my time there I seen the rate go up $40 a month which is absolutely insane. When we got to pay more for a storage unit then we do for our cars and insurance then we need to re-evaluate if that unit is needed. We got to do better. If the rates go up then building up keep needs to be better. Just go and look at the flooring at the climate controlled area. It’s absolutely abismal. It’s like you are going acrosss the Rocky Mountains. Instead of mangers getting raises they need to be working on those floors. Obviously we are paying those managers and building manger to much. Do better U-Haul. Repair your building.

Everything went well and the staff is great. Unfortunately, I was not told the that round locks were mandatory. I was told that they highly recommend them. One time I needed to get something from my storage and the front office had put a lock without telling me and the office was already closed. Unfortunately I have to spend extra money due to this situation. I was ok with the facile taking action on adding the lock, but a call, txt, or email would have been better than nothing. Other than that I am fine with the service provided.

I had the unit for a little over 2 years. I never had an issue w entry, cleanliness, etc. The day before we were going to be finished moving out I lost my keys to the unit in the parking lot. The man who answered the phone at first did not have them but he went the extra mile to go look for them and found them! I was so thankful. Definitely will use them again if needed.

Checked out 21 days earlier and ask if I would be prorated and was told no. I then said I will put my lock back on unit and was told I couldn’t and I would have to do another contract. The unit I had had an access point to the roof right above my unit. Paint chips from that area fell into my unit. At some point during my 2 yr rental it leaked water. I was unaware bc the light isn't that great in that area and didn't noticed until I moved out the unit. Everything else about the place was great.

I'm afraid I didn't get their names but the man and woman you have working in the front office are beyond helpful and friendly. It was a true pleasure to deal with them and I have to say that it was, by far, the best experience I've ever had at U-Haul. The gentleman checking in my truck was also very friendly and helpful, as was the woman custodian.
We rented an inside unit and everything was amazingly clean from the bay to the hallways to the unit itself. Everyone made sure they were available and all questions were quickly answered.
You have a great team and should do everything you can to keep them around.

I am so excited for many reasons. My car has been packed with m ty belongings for almost 3 months. I needed a place that was cost effective and close to my home to place these things. I went in, didn't have to pay up front, got the first month FREE, got to pull into a temperature controlled bay and utilize a dollie and easily load my stuff from car to a temperature controlled storage unit. Easy, breezy, beautiful! The staff member made the whole experience just as smooth as the process of emptying my vehicle! I could not asked for anything more! THANK YOU UHAUL!

So u haul was a blessing at this time in my life .Of course they in the business to make money but the manager at Radcliff u haul an storage kept me up to date on my storage unit's he listen to what I would say an showed a good heart when things were going south .So thank you Mike u haul could use more people like you You care and not finding that in many people any more.

Very expensive. $70 per month for a 5x5 space is a bit ridiculous. We were pcs-ing with the military and had to have somewhere quick or we never would have paid that amount. Had set up autopay with the clerk, but apparently it wasn’t done correctly and I was charged a late fee multiple times. I had to go up there twice to finally have it done properly. The lady that called was not very pleasant. Some employees were very friendly some were not. The facility was clean and well maintained. I would not rent here again overall.

I know in this fast-paced world Zach doing business over the telephone is almost obsolete. However several times it was impossible to make a payment over the phone because they didn't answer. And I forget the lady who was rude to me when Mike was on vacation but she didn't answer the phone that whole week. Still an excellent experience. I would still refer anyone. I would definitely use you guys again if needed. Mike and his staff are good people.

The location and units were excellent, no storage or security issues at all.
The only issue I encountered was the online account/checkout procedure. I moved out before the end of the month but was charged an additional month. My online U-haul account did not have the storage units in the “my account” page so I assumed I was good to go. Then on the 3rd of the month I was charged for both units and a late fee.
Currently U-haul is working on fixing the issue and it looks like I will be refunded the over charge.
Overall the Radcliff, KY U-haul provides great storage and security.
