One associate gave me a total of $50 but then another gave me a higher total saying that sometimes the trucks are stolen? The money has credited back but after renting probably 7 times from UHUAL i dont feel like I was really an AT RISK customer.

The customer service rep made the experience exceptional with his excellent customer service skills. He helped me trial two trailers to see which one was going to serve my purpose of hauling a golf cart. He was very kind and helpful in every step of the process from checking me out at the register to hooking up my truck to the trailer. Highly recommend the Richwood location with people working who really care about their customers.

The day of putting my stuff in storage. There was no lock in the storage unit when moving my items in. I had to leave and go buy one because the office had closed . I did contact the manager and she was will to give me $20 off of the storage or next u haul rental because I had to buy a lock (mind you U-Haul uses a specific lock on their storage units). Mines was not a lock that they use.
While taking my stuff out of the storage. I called to rent another u haul to move out of the unit. I called and spoke to the same manager and she assumed I was asking for money when asking about my discount. I explained again I did not want any money but the $20 off the truck because of the issues with the lock before.
I hung up on Sarah because she was very rude and unprofessional and I would not recommend this place for storage or u haul rental . Very unprofessional staff (the guys at the front desk as well) and especially management.

My son's car broke down and I had to pick him up about 400 miles away. The U Haul store was only open for about another hour, and I was worried we could find a trailer in time. The guys at the Walton store (Dylan in particular) were super helpful, and got us on the road for a long night of driving. The trailer performed perfectly, and the check in the next morning was easy. It was cheaper than I expected, way safer than flat towing the car. Thanks for the help!

Drop off location in Kentucky was not correct, don’t know who dropped the ball on this with the paperwork. I almost didn’t
get the rental back to the agreement’s incorrect drop off location before it closed that evening. My Uber ride home ended
up costing me twice as much because of greater distance. Don’t know why the paperwork reflected I would want to return
the rental to a location different from the one I was physically in signing up. The employee at drop off location wasn’t rude
but very short with me and another party, all due to I believe it being close to closing time.

Went to clean out my storage and the facility plowed the snow around the entrance but they didn’t plow the snow to where the entrance was. Poor snow plowing to not let anyone enter the entrance. I would not recommend using the storage if it snows. Cause you can’t access the entrance.

When I moved in it was raining hard and we discovered about 10 holes in the roof of the storage unit that was soaking my furniture. The employees had to go up on a ladder and they did fix the problem. But my stuff got wet and no one offered any sort of solution for that. Couch was soaked.

The mechanic that came out because their 26' truck was lurching, shaking, and having trouble maintaining any speed above 50mph told us that the engine was barely capable of carrying it's own weight, let alone anything we were trying to move and keep driving it until it broke down. They took approximately 3 hours to send a mechanic in the middle of the night, forcing us to get a hotel, but refused to cover the cost.
The only reason we used the storage facility is because they offered the first month free.
When we had a need for a truck because ours broke down, they charged us around $180 for approximately an 8 hr rental, even though the truck they rented to us, sight unseen, claimed to be available for $20.
We are thrilled to have our belongings removed from their facility and likely will never use them again.

First off, Primary and Sarah are just awesome and so extremely helpful. I've dealt with Sarah before but this time I worked entirely with Prizm and it wad just a complete pleasure. She checked me in, took me to my units to show me where I would be located, offered and honored a discount promo that saved me money and was a complete delight the whole time.

My only complaint is that I moved out on the 8th of the month and I don’t get any of the money back for this month. I just closed on my house and this was the soonest I could get my stuff out of storage. So to pay $220 for 8 days well that shouldn’t be. I paid on time every month and I made sure my unit was clean when I left. I was expecting at least $150 back.

When I arrived for initial check in for a storage unit, no employees were to be found for 10-15 min. When they were found, they were teenagers and were not tracking my reservation and assigned me a storage unit that was already occupied, which they cut open. It look 45 min or more from getting there to getting my storage unit.
Further, due to the gutter and drainage design of the building my unit was in, rain water entered it (no telling how many times) and much of my possessions were damaged by water. At currently calculations it is over $6k in damage.
Staff didn't have an answer for me as to what to do. I was essentially told that since I did not buy the insurance offered, its on me.
I don't believe that the faulty design and/or condition of the unit I rented is on me. The unit that I had can't be rented to anyone else until fixed. I'd never use this facility again or recommend it.

NEGATIVE TO CORPORATE
The entrance and exit roadway that is gravel is in bad shape when driving on your truck through there with a load of my personal belongings. This was the most treacherous place and most likely area that I was going to cause damage to my stuff.
It’s very rough and it needs fixed.

Rented outdoor RV/trailer storage. Facility does not have controlled access - shares grounds with flea market that causes many issues with stored trailers. Departing due to U-Haul discontinuing this type of rental, but turned out to be a good deal as we found storage for half the cost at a secure and covered facility.

We had our camper vandalized are your storage parking lot. We parked it by the lights and your security cameras. It didn't stop someone from doing 6200 dollars in damages. There have been several reports of the same issues at this location. Nothing said or even a sorry for our situation we have. We will never be back and in know way will we ever tell someone to rent from uhaul again.

Has nothing to do with staff at the U-Haul center itself it has to do with how they are set up. Your reservation line set me up to store my vehicle in a location that is insecure except for a few cameras. No locking gate for after hours! It is a flea market with a U-Haul business attached to it. It is not secure. I had no choice not time to move it. I'm literally depending on a guy who sleeps in their lot in his van to watch over it as he does for the flea market patrons things as kind of a barter for being able to live on the lot. While he seems honest it's not the point. You should not send someone to store a vehicle at an unsecured lot!. I'm only keeping it there for a week thank goodness but seriously?!!
