i rented a cargo van and a storage unit and was told i can move in the unit that evening 10-26 but after getting my belongings i arrived at the college park location to find my code did not work thus having to take the truck and my belongings home and go back next day and code still did not work resulting in me having to put additional miles on the vehicle that was unnessisary with no adjustment given in the rental for my incovenience i am frustrated sincerley Mr Sammy Linzer jr

mAKE CERTAIN THE TRUCKS ARE SERIOUSLY CLEANED BEFORE RENTING ESPECIALLY WITH THE PANDEMIC! ALSO MAINTAIN PROPER MAINTENANCE! THE 1ST TRUCK THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS ON AND THE SECOND TRUCK WAS SO DIRTY, THE FRONT CAB FOR THE CUP HOLDERS ETC. KEPT COMING LOSE AND WOULD NOT SNAP SHUT! THE HEAT FROM THE ENGINE WAS UNBEARABLE!!! THE TRUCK HAD NOT BEEN CLEANED OR CHECK BECAUSE I FOUND A PERSON CARD WALLET WITH ALL THEIR ID AND CREDIT CARDS FROM UNDER THE MIDDLE SEAT! HOWEVER, THE STAFF WAS VERY PLEASANT AND HAVE GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. WILL RENT AGAIN, JUST WOULD LIKE A BETTER TRUCK SINCE WE USE IT FOR LONG TRAVELS.

First, I reserved a truck to arrive and the truck number that was on my reservation was pulling out of the lot as I was pulling in. Then I had to go inside and wait which I absolutely did not want to. Then the guy that helped me all but forced me to give a 2nd phone number that I told him I did not have so he insisted on a family members number. I did not appreciate that because my family member was not renting a truck, I was and if I say there is no additional number that should be it. Now when I come back to return the truck the darn app did not work for me to return the truck. This experience with the app was the worst. I expected the app to give me fast, non contact service and it failed.

Our tire blew out on our trailer. The employee who checked us out was very polite and helpful, however, when our tire blew out we called the location to ask for assistance and spoke with an extremely rude employee. When we told her we needed roadside assistance, she told us to go to the website on our receipt and then hung up. We called back a few minutes later to tell her that we were confused about which site to go to, and she said that she didn't know anything about the website. When we asked if we could perhaps speak to a coworker who was familiar, she told us to call a number and hung up again. Not only was I disappointed with having a dangerous tire blowout and being stuck on the side of a highway for two hours, I was exceedingly let down by the customer service of this location when we were in such a dangerous situation as a result of their mechanical failure and needed help.

I recommend on-site supervision of staff. Kayaria was very rude and unprofessional. There was no supervisor so there was no penalty for her conduct. She outright refused to check the truck back in because she thought my husband was rude. That is only one of several things done to prompt my rating.

Make the after hours key return more obvious with clear instructions to customers. There is an African American women at the location who checked me out, and my apologies but I did not get her name. She was so very helpful and went out of way to make sure she helped. She was able to efficiently handle my need and another customer at same time. Really Awesome! Thank you:::

If I remember the name, Somar checked the uhaul in when I was finished. He was very kind, professional, and provided the best customer service ever! He helped make my move very wonderful.

The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The outside male attendant was Not not offering no assistance to help unhook the car dolly. He told me to call road side assistance. I am a 66 year old senior, I paid $20 for assistance with help with the car dolly, plus insurance and did not receive it. I was very disappointed in U-Haul!

Overall my experience was good. I feel as long as I was with you all Uhaul never offered a dicount, a skip payment. Also the assistant manager Shmar is rude, and disrespectful. He acts like he can't speak and he always has his phone in his face. All other attendants where pleasant and helpful. All personnel need to learn the policies because i got several different responses before i left about how I had to close my account out. Thank you for taking good care of my belongings. I am upset that the first UHAUL that I tried to get I was unable to get the key out of the box. It took me (3) three hours to deal with this and your company currently has on hold (2) two charges for $116.22 for this one transaction on my bank account. I won't have access to it for 3-5 business days as a result of your company unable to help me. That is unacceptable during this pandemic when people are low on funds. I will never use your company again due to your agent lie to me when I called your customer service saying that I wouldn't be charged again. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!

The employees made me feel very uncomfortable because of their attitudes and the way they talked to the customers. I will use a different company should the need for a moving truck happens. Management should get involved to show employees at the Hwy 85 location how to present themselves in a professional way.

I requested a van. When I arrived I was told that the van wasn't brought back. Opposed to suggesting another option, I had to ask “Well is there another option,” which lead to additional research of a 10ft truck. I just feel as though a solution should have been offered by the associate oppose to be having to ask and inquire. If I would have left without asking about an option, they would have let me. Your website also says if what you ordered isn't available you get $50. Not only did I not get $50, I had to pay additional money then intended for the bigger truck.

I was charged 192 for a rental that didn't exceed 50 miles. 30 for a convenience fee for gas when it says on my contract $30 will ne charged if not over a quarter tank. Another $50 something in gas when the person who checked us in said we were good. Gas station is almost next door to this location. Im still waiting on my refund. We come to Uhual to save money. Not to be ripped off. Still waiting on the manager at thos location to contact me. Its been 3 weeks.

I returned my vehicle only 3 hours after picking it up informed them that I never received the furniture dolly that I had requested. The lady said she'd make note of it so that I wouldn't be charged. Well I was charged $125 for something I never received. Still waiting on my refund. Worst experience with u haul.

The worker Lakeisha was very rude. I walked in the store to receive keys for a truck rental and she was on a personal phone call with the call on speaker phone and did not acknowledge me at all but continued on with her personal conversation another associate has to come in and take care of me.

The so called manager wasn't pleasant didn't even tell me thank you I had to say it to her. Very unprofessional. Charged me for fuel and I tried to tell her it wasn't reading that on the fuel when I got the truck but I found it in my email. I will be going back to the location to show them the email of my contract and get a refund of 14.35. She didn't even make a effort to look into the error.

First of all if self pick up is not an option for this location than it shouldnt be offered!! I set up a pick up for 7am, after 10pm the night before I get a notification that my pick up was moved to 9am, get to the location and no one is doing anything and the line is more than 15 people long and took me more than 2hours to get out of there. The women at this location is nasty and rude! I work in customer service and know how hard it is but the way that the young lady was talking to people including me will be the reason you lose a lot of business.

Do not rent a vehicle that is not 100% operational. The rear door of the van had a damaged top hinge where the van was damaged. This prevented this door from being able to open completely. This obviously impeded the ability to load and unload.

The manager was flexible. The check in attendance said i was not at the right location. She refused to accept it unless she charged me a wrong location fee of $300.00. That's not only unheard of but what happened to customer service. The experience could've been memorable but wasn't. After driving hours and unloading went to one location and was told she didn't have room for the uhaul. She sent me to Riverdale.

The female with the raggedy blonde locs down her back assisted me with my initial rental. She had a nasty, repulsive attitude and was extremely unpleasant to deal with from an attitude perspective. If she had smiled, think her face would have literally broken....but had the audacity to close with, "HAVE A BLESSED DAY," how condescending! These types of people only invite the worst to themselves, out of others and for your business. Good luck with her and her shenanigans!!! Other then that...the rental went decently. Also, the General Manager at this location is very pleasant and knowledgeable. Good Job Sir!

There was a small bit of dirt from the rental. I took it to a car wash and rinsed the inside and outside. The residual dirt from my wash settled on the floor (maybe 10 percent) yet I was hit with a questionable cleaning fee.

Never kept there promises one person said one thing and someone else would say another. The associates are VERY playful with one another in the presents of customers, and from that when they are told something it's forgotten and NOT place in your files/computerized file. Then you may have to pay for their mistakes at the time of payments.
