on the app when you’re returning the equipment, I had an issue with entering the mileage. It wouldn’t allow me to directly enter 21,179 miles. Instead it was entering 2117.9 for some reason. It took about 5 min for it to finally enter the miles I wanted. Other than that, U-Haul have really improved!

Waited Over 3 Hours To Get My Truck They Said I had The Wrong Location But Ended Up coming Back To That Location Because The Other One Was Closed , the Called Me And Hour Before My reservation And Told Me To Come To A Certain Location . Maybe reservation Was At 8am And I Left A Little After 11am!!

My experience at this location was terrible!!! I will never rent from this location ever again. I rented a van for the day. But didn't need it that long. So returned in about 5 hours. I was charged double instead of getting anything back. I rented at another location for more hours and further distances and was charged less. The employees was rude.. it was not a good experience. I will never at the Riverdale location again.

I was suppose to return the rental with 1/2 tank of gas. I returned it with 3/4 of a tank only to be told I went 6 miles over my limit and I would be charged an additional $2 and some change. I understand that I went over on mileage but I brought the rental back with way more gas than I was required to and the fact that that wasn’t taken into consideration and the additional fee was still applied kinda, to me, is a little silly and doesn’t show appreciation to the customer. I knew I went over on mileage, so to make up for that I figured I would return it with extra gas. Mistake on my part that I won’t make again. I hope that additional $2 and some change allows Uhaul to give big raises to everyone this year!

I USE TO DO BUSINESS WITH YOU ALL EACH TIME I MOVE BUT THIS LAST TIME YOU ALL HAVE TRIED TO GET OVER ON ME AND I WILL NEVER RESPECT THAT!!! I ASK QUESTIONS NO ONE CAN ANSWER THEM!! YOUR WEBSITE, THE CUSTOMER SERVICE PEOPLE AND IN STORE ARE ALL ON DIFFERENT PAGES!! YOU HAVE TO WAIT 15 to 20 MINUTES TO TALK TO ANYONE!!! THE PEOPLE AT THE STORE CANT ANSWER ANYTHING!! I rented a truck at 8:00 am and returned it at 12:00 noon,my return time was set for 2:30pm so i was 2 hours and 30 mins early.Later that evening about 5:00 pm i received a voicemail on my cell phone from Uhaul asking me when was i going to return the truck and that my return time was 2:30 pm.I went back to the uhaul store ask them what are you talking about? i gave you the key and returned the truck at 12:00 noon.So the agent goes outside and finds the truck parked in a rental space and the key was on the back board in the lobby or there main area where they work.There excuse was no one ever checked the truck in because they were short of help and they were sorry for the inconvenience.

Workers were chatting with each other about nonwork related things in front of customers. There was no quickness to their work, workers were annoyed of the work they had to do for the customers. Outside workers did not have all equipment ready and we had to settle for a utility dolly instead of an appliance dolly because they didn’t have one ready.

I was quoted one price for the reservation and when I get to the location it was a totally different price. It was a 2 day rental for transporter it was turned in on time but I was charged an extra day $20 .. very unsatisfied.. no one in customer service looked into situation or tried to refund my money...

My paper work noted the gas was half tank but it was not and nobody at U-Haul came to check it. So when I returned the truck at half tank I wasn’t reimbursed for the extra. The customer service was not good at all and not understanding.

The blonde lady should have stayed stayed at home, you couldn't help but think she was going to fight her co-workers. She was cussing loudly in the the parking lot and the young lady with braids was asking questions. So unprofessional, people looking around, but she said a few times"I don't have time for this sh,, today I ain't in the mood" . Along with other things.

My hitch had been improperly installed prior to when I bought the car and had become loose. Joseph and staff were very helpful to arrange a time to solve the problem and be sure I have a solid hitch. It was a very busy time for them.

The transmission felt like it was slipping. The truck kept skipping, jerking and felt like loss of power. The A/C did NOT work properly!!!! Ive rented from usual quite a few times over the years to move items that Ive purchased.... but this was by far the worst truck Ive ever rented. I did in fact called the location 15 minutes and reported the issue.

The service at this location was good. Swift and easy. However, if I was the owner of this establishment I would have fired every employee there and hired new the very next day. The inappropriate conversations that where held by the employees were ridiculous. It was as if I was not in the store. One employee said that he could not wait to get off so that he could “put some kitty in the air”. Not to mention all of the cursing. I’m sure this is a great company however the employees at this location were NOT a good representation of such. I will not be returning.

I had to take over a month to sit back and take stock of this experience and decide if I was overreacting before I responded to this survey. After taking enough time to cool off, my opinion remains the same - I have rented from U-Haul for the last time. I was in for a trailer rental to go pickup an item with a reservation placed the day before. needing the trailer for approximately 2 hours. After patiently waiting in line for 15-20 minutes, I presented my drivers license and credit card WITH MY BUSINESS NAME ON IT that I placed the reservation with. The employee proceeded to ask me to give her THREE contacts as "references" to "vouch for me" for a trailer I could have gone and purchased from a local vendor. I completely understand the need to protect the assets of the company and reducing shrinkage. I believe this can be accomplished without treating the customer like a criminal - I have been given the keys to $75,000 cars to keep overnight with nothing more than a photocopy of my drivers license and insurance. This experience was nothing short of infuriating, embarrassing, and completely unecessary to rent a trailer for a couple of hours. U-Haul has seen the last rental from me.

One side of the brake lights do not work. The installer appeared to have checked them before telling me everything was ready to go; However, as night fell only one brake light was operational. This was a hazard and I am unsatisfied with my transaction.

I reserved a truck for 24hr when i home i got an email saying i needed to return the truck by 10:45 that night, i called back they said the truck was promised out at 7am the next morning, i had to return the truck back within 30 min. I didn't live but 7-8 miles from u haul and they still charge me 68 dollars + and i even had put fuel in it, i don't think that was good customer service, even i didn't get a chance to use the truck

Van was very poor in driving. Agent told me to return the vehicle within 3.5 hours, else the will be penalty of $10. Pickup vehicle at 12.30 pm told me to return before 4.00 pm. Paid basic $29.99 for 15' truck. Plus Insurance plus other charges all to gather around $65.

I was told it is Mandatory to take out insurance on a tow dolly because it was new. When I saw it it already had previous damage. After calling corporate they said the mandatory insurance is false. Also I filled out all of the pre registration information and still had to do it at the counter. The representative put the tow information in backwards and said it would not work with their equipment (gmc sirra towing a nissan sentra). I had to show him where he put the info in wrong.

I felt the store manager Joy was being verbally abusive to the employees in front of the customers. But the overall experience was horrible. I had to place 4 orders in order for UHAUL to get it right. I was offered 30 miles for all my trouble but Joy the manager at Riverdale informed me the miles were not fee I had to pay for them.. So I advised her I wasn't given anything for my inconvenience or trouble. But once again my order was wrong once leaving the Riverdale location I once again called Customer Service and confirmed my drop off location and asked about the free miles., Customer Service advised me the manager Joy provided me wrong information and the miles were free. No one seemed to be on the same page and the right-hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. Not a good overall experience!

Ms. Joy had excellent customer service. When I walked inside the store she greeted me while waiting on another customer and told me that she would be right with me. She is great at multitasking. I walked in the store, she made me feel as though I was important, she was also helping the gentleman before me find a storage unit, she answered the phone, and she was helping her coworker with something. During the middle of my transaction I had to really use the restroom and I asked if my brother could finish my transaction. She patiently told me that she would wait on me and she did just that. When I came out we completed my transaction and she went to go get my truck. My truck was full of gas and ready to go. She was super nice and that's actually the first time I've experienced superior customer service while dealing with the stress of moving. Thank you Ms. Joy!

I called back and ask if I left my keys to POV. Was told no one turned any keys in. This was minutes after truck return. Was told they would call me if they found them. After returning to location ask attendant about. They no but key was there in a desk. No one cared enough to check.

I first made a reservation at a location that was closed but no one could tell me what could be done to get the truck because no one answered the phone. And I go to another location to get to get a truck and So according to my walk out receipt it was 45.00 and some change with $22.50 being refunded to my card because of the gas. I put $20 worth of gas in the tank thinking according to what I was told would be a refund on my card. Now this new receipt say the fee was $75 and a credit of $22 which is the $45. What’s really going on here?????

I had reserved a truck for 24 hours, when I went to pick up the truck, I was told I could only have it for 6 hours. My reservation was at 12:30, it took over an hour to process out. Unacceptable

I was treated bad from day 1. Paid online, got there, no unit, waited hours. No calls returned ever. Made payment arrangement. Then got email my unit sold & I owe money? Traumatic for a disabled vet!!

Rats damaged/poo & pee all over my property and I was not in the facility a whole month. I’m very disappointed in Uhaul at the moment. My family and I have already been through enough stress in home.

the service was exellent the unit got mold on all my mattresses and furniture, but i was offered insurance more then once so shame on me.. so even though my things were damaged CS was great !!!
