Check the axle to make certain that it has not rusted through. if they tell you that they will pick up the trailer after it breaks down, videotape them doing so. They will most definitely charge you for not returning the trailer later, even when their own company picks it up from the side of the road. if you deal with their customer service line don't hold your breath. 1. I made a reservation 25 days in advance to be told they rented out all the dollies and I could go to another location to buy one. Why are you taking reservations when you don't have enough equipment. I planned a move, with specific equipment, and I'm told essentially "oh well" to lack of equipment due to negligence. 2. Our truck had 1/4 tank of gas in it. I've never in life rented a moving truck, of any company, with this low amount of gas. It was ridiculous and annoying. Thank our stars it was an in town move, because clearly, just like the dollies we would have been in a "oh well" situation. 3. Apparently, people can park in the truck exit lane, preventing trucks from leaving. Lot attendant takes a good while to have the person moved, so we can finally leave. 4. Obtaining the truck was about an hour process and this isn't the first time UHaul has given us problems. This will be the last time.Keianne T.

Ok so this about 2 parts. First my uhal truck rental. It was hard to get the lock off the lock to get to the key. Of course the truck I wanted was sold out and I was in a hard location. Someone should of pulled my truck out and had it in a different location then what it was. The truck I had was hard to drive. Left my knee sore for a week.. Part 2...I have 3 storages at this location. I came in on 04/16 to try and merge them down to one. But one of them has the red lock on it. U-haul has a check on the way and I showed proof that it was on the way. I only wanted like 3 items from that unit and add items to the lock unit. So Fozzy knows me, I have been a loyal customer for years now. So because he did not have the check in hand he couldn't take the red lock off until we got done doing what was needed. NOW I have to try again to get the stuff I need out. And I might or might not have help. JUST a real inconvenience. The lady on the inside very nice I didn't have a mask and I asked for one so I could get into my Uber and she gave me one. The gentleman on the outside just hops out of a random car and says give me the keys. If it wasn't for me seeing his shirt I wouldn't have known that he worked there. Straps for securing front tires to tow dolly were frayed and difficult to work with. On more than one occasion I had to cut material in order to unjam the ratcheting mechanism. The hand truck's wheels were not very good for moving boxes from truck into door. I actually chipped the stone on my front steps trying to lift boxes into the house. Wheel diameter is too short. The chains from the truck to tow dolly and tow dolly to wrap around car axles should be inspected, I didn't have one of the rubber gadgets that secures the S hook to the chain. Last, but hardly least, the individual who walked me through securing the car to the tow dolly was either ill-equipped to the task or just didn't care. While I was doing the passenger side tire, he did the driver's side. I didn't notice that he only had the webbing on about two thirds of the tire when I got home. Not only that, he made no mention of the chains that were supposed to go around the axle. He didn't secure his side so I was unaware I had to do that step until afterward when reloading the car after packing the truck. You're fortunate I didn't lose the car getting it from Riverdale to my home during the ten mile drive.Eric G A.

My rental truck was already paid for and i was already given the key that morning, but because it wasn't taken off the lot right and i was not informed that it must be gone within an hour, the store returned my rental without my knowledge so it could rented to someone else which shows pure greed because i reiterate, the rental was already paid for and not supposed to be returned until the following morning. That cause me to have to get another rental. Shortly after i left, a second charge of 94.92 came off my card. When i went back to see why, i was told it was because the rental was extended to the original 24 hour period i requested. That apparently is supposed to be coming back to my card once the truck was returned. And now y'all are asking for an additional $83. I was asked to pay for a clicker for the gate that never worked. When I asked about it I was told that I would have to pay a monthly fee to continue use. This was not told to me upon renting the unit. Getting through to the store is a joke, I have been at the gate unable to get in and called the office only to be on an extended hold and once I go into the store the ladies were sitting around talking and laughing. The parking lot is entirely too small. You can't even get the 26' foot truck down the aisle to your unit. I was not able to access the climate controlled unit with the code I created.
