I didn’t like how I wasn’t told about the one month free storage when I had ordered a truck rental by the time I found out about it online I had already paid two months for my unit . It also concerned me when I saw mice . I know people can be dirty but I was shocked like damm they at a storage place too . I have been a Uhaul customer for over 45 years and have rented from numerous locations. My experience at this location was the worst. I rented a truck with a ramp when we started loading the truck we found the ramp was coated with Motor Oil . We discovered this because we slipped and we're bruised by the furniture. We were forced to load to the furniture without bathe ramp, defeating bathe purpose of renting a truck with a ramp! I called your 800 number and emailed the photos of the oily ramp to Hello Mr. Walker, Please attach the picture to this email. Thank You, Melanie Poston U-Haul International Customer Service Agent 1-800-789-3638 #3 I informed her we had a serious safety issue and we injured, I also forwarded pictures of the ramp, obviously soiled. In order to unload the truck with the ramp I had to return your site to have the ramp power washed. More than once I requested some type of courtesy/ credit for the extreme inconvenience. Manager at the site was absolutely ignoring my issue problem, I found them very negligent! In addition Inthought Inhad lost my truck key that I knew I attached to my key ring so I wouldn't lose it. Only to find out the Uhaultag fell off and the key was still on my ring. Mr Walker It was the worst experience, besides the truck was beat up and we constantly bhad to struggle to open the rear door. Horrible Move In the end was given a $20 credit for the gas I put in. A bill of $622 without and customer Service consideration. My experience was terrible. The staff left while I was unhitching my car and did not tell me that they would not be helping me check in. I arrived before the posted closing time and someone directed me to pull in closer to the truck that he appeared to be checking in. I assumed I would be next. When I finished unhitching my car from the carrier I discovered that everyone had left. They did not have the decency to tell me that they were not going to help me checkin. The service was horrible and I should get a refund for one whole truck!! 1-Rented a 20. When I got there, no 20' available. Told me there was no other but a 10'. Then a gentleman walks to rent in the top with no reservation and in my face tells him that she has a 15' and gives it to him. A whole hour later and I ended you having to rent TWO 10' because I had 4 movers charging $128/hours seating in from of my building. When I get to the lot to pick up the trucks, the equipamient was not available, waited another 20 minutes. Hired moving help from you too and 2 out of the 4 were no shows. Called and they did not even pick the phone. When they called back (3 1/2 hours later) they told me that they were busy with another move and had no idea when they were going to get to me. I ended practically begging friends, neighbors and family to come help, because I had a legal agreement with Lanlord to turn in unit by a certain time. The only issue was when I arrived 3 other customers were before me however a tall grey haired employee was having a confrontation with the customer before me and it appeared it was due to not having a mask but the customer said he was vaccinated and your employee was verbally aggressive towards the man and even stated that if it was his turn to be next the employee said he would deny him service. The employee kept it up even after the customer pleaded to stop and leave it alone the employee told other customers that the man didn't care about them and in my opinion as a retired Real Estate property manager and now head of a contracting firm I think your employee was out of line and with his persistence on trying to make the situation turn into a violent altercation jeopardizing all in attendance especially the female employees's safety. I am a former Navy Seal and Police Officer and I was gravely concerned that this was going to lead into a physical confrontation and firmly believe that the only reason the customer didn't react in that manner is because I look like a cop. Your employee just kept antagonizing the customer and it was far beyond professionalismMichael M.

The front desk ladies are very nice welcoming, helpful and have much patience. Now the back part where you leave the truck and sometimes pick it up isn't as pleasant you do have exceptions but they are not cleaning, washing or even checking the trucks properly. My truck was disgusting smelled like vinegar in the back cargo area and the front was smelly and windshield was full of gunk. I was pressed for time and I did not notice until the next day on the road and what's worse no horn. Ridiculous doesn't really cut it. The 2 elevators are frequently out of order with no management available to assist after office hours. During summer, the floors become extremely hot with no air circulation or cooling making it a hazard when moving items in or out of the facility. No consistency in staff behavior, Some are excellent while others might need coaching and there is no visible management leadership throughout the facility. I have rented a prior unit in the back building and my brother-in-law has one currently in the front building. I specifically asked for a front unit before I made my online reservation and I was told "yes" the the 4th floor 8x8x8 was in the front building. I asked the same question when I arrived the next day to sign the paperwork. I was again told "yes" but then I was shown the unit in the back building. Going over the hump between buildings causes items to fall off a card and makes moving much more difficult and really unacceptable. I declined that unit and was then given #6000 which I did not inspect. I regret that. That unit had absolutely no light. It is a second rate unit and makes usage much more difficult. I had a helper running a meter at $70 per hour so I gave up and just moved in. This is what I call third rate service. I have rented vans from you and storage units from you and I expect better. There needs to be more people working. I was the second person in line when the location opened. I completed the online pre-check in. I had ordered supplies over 1 month in advance. Not only were my supplies not available (I ordered 6 furniture pads, there were only 3), half of them were missing from the order (TV box and mattress cover). I also had to wait in line for about 45 minutes before I could be seen. Next, I was given no instruction, or map as to where my storage unit was located. When I came in with a full truck 90 min later, I found out that my movers were unloading the truck at the wrong doc! We had to then request a different (more expensive) storage unit so we didn't have to pack back up only to unpack again. I then needed a refund for the furniture pads that were not given to me. This took over 30 min! The ONLY good thing about this experience were the movers I hired through you. I understand the the staff here was strapped for help ( while I was there I learned that one staff member was late, and another just left work without telling anyone.) You all need to hire more reliable people, and train them better in communication skills. I spent almost as much time in the office waiting as I had actually packing or unpacking my apartment.BRIDGETT P. | First Impressions
