Please call me 248–872–7991 I have feedback for U-Haul in general, not this specific location. Three of my last four rentals resulted in major logistical snafus unrelated to this location. I believe the problem is your technology. I rent Uhaul 2-3 times per year, and the relationship is in jeapordy Doug Fraser

He went out of his way to take care of me and there should be more people in the world like Pablo. Staff is very friendly and always willing to help. But the staff that checks vehicles and cleans them need to show more urgency and not looked bothered when we ask a question.

Tell staff to ask customers if they're familiar with the vehicle, or if they would like a run down of where everything is in terms of controls. Right now, there's a very hands off approach. You basically get handed the keys and that's it. As I was a first time user, it took me a while to figure out the gear shift, mirrors and other controls. Staff could have showed, or at least offered.

As someone who does not often rent vans, being informed that I would be ticketed for parking on the street would have been useful information and saved me $65.

The facility itself was OK, though with a very slow-moving line. I was most disappointed by service from other facilities, as well as customer service. I had made a reservation at a facility in Manhattan, but was informed the night before my 7am move that they were out of trucks. I was rescheduled to another facility at 7am, only to find out upon arrival that that second facility did not open until 9am.

First, the cashier tried to overcharge me for not looking at the gas markings on both papers. Second, I got a truck that had a malfunctioning window, to my luck there was a super storm in NY (Aug 2) and I got all wet for almost an hr. I was also charged $70 over what the first Rep told me I would get charged. I paid 244 dollars for 44 miles! And the tank was full when I returned it. They also had no change so they were 70 cents short when I left. I, along with many of my friends, are YouTube bloggers- I promise you, the viewers will hear of my horrible experience because I recorded it all.

The only thing I noticed was that the left rear tire was low and when i arrived at my destination I had to put pressure on it since it said it was low on dashboard. I want to make sure next time all is checked before I drive away. I could have had a bad accident.

Reservation system is totally unreliable. Had to pick up our truck in a very inconvenient place. Would not have rented the truck had known the pick up location when making the reservation.

The back of the van looked clean, but when I opened the back/side door I noticed that big, obvious items had been picked up, but there was a mound of dirt/trash/dust that could have been vacuumed up.

Honestly, I was worried about this whole process because I have read so many negative reviews about UHaul, but this location was pretty amazing. My van was there and ready to go - they got me in and out quickly. The charges were exactly what it had shown online. When I came back to return the van I did have to wait in line to turn in the check in slip, but the employees did their best to get everyone what they needed in a timely manner.



Whilst making the reservation over the phone, I was told the unit I reserved had 24 hour access. But when I arrived at 1:30pm, BEFORE PACKING UP TRUCK TO MOVE IN, I was told your facility closed at 5pm and the unit I reserved didn't have 24 hour access. Also, I was directed to get a uhaul representative to be shown my unit when I return. I arrive back, ask to be shown my unit but am asked if I have the things I am Moving in before going up. I told a representative my things should be pulling up soon, and that I would like to see unit beforehand. After some attitude, he asked someone else to assit me. A different representative walked me to elevator, did something on the key pad, walked out and didn't tell me what unit number I was in. I walked out of elevator, back to desk, and asked what's going on and what my unit number was, and was given thee most nastiest attitude. I was finally given my unit number, but couldn't access my unit on my own. When I asked why I'm having so much difficulty getting upstairs to my unit (it is now 430pm), I wasn't given a response but rather told to calm down. After your representative proceeded to get out of his chair, come towards me, yelling to tell me how he "knows what he's doing", three women (two of which I don't know and were having difficulties accessing their unit as well) had to tell him to not do that and sit down. I was finally escorted to my unit and told if I wanted to gain elevator access I should leave a person from my party upstairs to push elevator button for us. Baffled and frustrated at how this whole transaction is playing out, I am FINALLY told, by someone not handling my account, that location HAS NO ACCESS CARDS and I would have to find a representative each time I wanted elevator access. At this point I realize, ON MY OWN, locks are needed on units. I have exact lock required to secure unit, PACKED AWAY. Had I been told my unit needed a personal lock on its own I would've not packed up my lock before arriving. So I was forced to buy another. Thank goodness my storage unit was free for the month.... I'll be damned if I'm paying 264$ A month for incompetency and nastiness. Completely frustrated that for the next few days, every time I want to access my things I have to deal with these disgustingly rude people. Considering moving my things out before the month is up. IM SO OVER UHAUL!!!!!! I wouldn't recommend this facility.
