The place I was scheduled and texted for the transporter drop off would not take the transporter because he said he already had some and that I need to take it another. The Credit Union location did a great and fast job of accepting it. This experience from having a reservation made by uhaul service rep for a closed office on pickup day and then the scheduled drop off location refusing to take it made this a bad experience renting from uhaul. Most other times have been very good but something is not being communicated between their offices. Don't trust the scheduled places without double checking yourself it is possible.

The original drop off location was basically an dirt lot. When I told the person at the location I had unused supplies to return He told me that he could not take returns and I would have to go to a Corporate Store which was a few miles away. When I got to the Corporate store I was greeted with a you cam in the wrong way, but leave it. I then told him I had unused supplies to return he told me I had to bring them inside. I did as I was told. To find a line of 4-5 people and one person working behind the counter. When the guy in the lot who based on his shirt was the manager Justin came in he started my return but his credit card processing equipment was down. after a while he finally just gave me cash.. I do believe that I did leave something in the truck, A simple cell phone holder it was not expensive but it would have been nice for them to reach out and ask I wanted it back and if so where should they send it to. I am not a very happy customer after this experience.

Very friendly went above and beyond every Uhaul center was down due to internet services but they made no excuse and got the job done the manger went home to get his computer to work of there personal Wi-Fi. I would recommend this place specifically this one to everyone I know this one only they were great made me feel like family the process super easy

I need a call back ASAP at 843-729-7140. I was charge almost $20 for gas and I put gas in the truck. I always take a picture of the miles and gas when I pick up and when I returned. I have photos and will be going to the local store,

Actually Have trucks available... had to rush my move because their was a shortage of trucks not accommodating to customer needs at all especially at a popular location on Rivers Ave. And i actually was willing to rent two days and cud only keep truck for 12 hrs

Have more customer service staff available at peak times. One very efficient and courteous lady was doing her very best to attend to a long line of customers. There was a long wait that would've bee twice as long had she not been so competent. This was a Saturday morning.

This was absolutely mu worst experience at U-Haul. I had a 7:30 am reservation and I was there before that time. I understand that drop offs cause the parking area to be blocked but there seemed to be a lack of organization since there were so many people in line. There were enough agents serving put no one seemed to be organized. I let that go since it was early but when I returned I stood at the van and no one came out to help me for 5 minutes. I went inside and 1 person was on the phone and 2 were working on a hitch install and still there was no help. The 2 saw me standing there and yet I was not acknowledged. It should not take 15 minutes to return a vehicle under any circumstance. I had 3 reservations during this week and my Friday, 6/21/19 pick up was the same as 6/19/19's. a lot of waiting (20 minutes) because someone did not show up to work. I had NO ISSUES ON Monday 6/17 however. The manager was on vacation this week and it all seemed to fall apart. My timing is critical on pickups and returns since those hours are a part of my work day. I have to evaluate whether I will continue with this location for convenience or go else where for a more efficient transaction.

While I think this U-haul location has the best customer service of all locations I have dealt with, I was not pleased with the price of storage compared to other locations in town.

Had to buy a 2" receiver to pull the trailer. I didn't see anything starring that on line when I reserved it. Extra $25 expense. I wasn't happy.

That location has a new policy to take customer's picture in front of the rented equipment. Manager told me that it's a new U-Haul company wide policy and images would be deleted once equipment is returned, however I wasn't be able to verify if it's true because there's no information regarding that policy on your web side. It does raise some privacy concerns. Also don't like a new way to inspect rental equipment for damages. I received a text message with a link to a page with images and had to verify existing damages or take pictures of previously unreported damages and upload those. This is a case of not well thought technology use when things become more complicated.

Damage on truck box area at time of pickup. Also booked a 15 foot truck when I arrived at the location was upgraded to a 20 foot truck without notice. Was not charged for the upgrade however since location claimed not to have a 15 foot truck available. After booking it two days in advance.

Assistant manager wasn't able to explain services to me, told me different pricing over the phone prior to coming in, and told me that I could drop off truck to a different location than was offered

The drop-off location was terribly understaffed. The wait was very long with many angry/frustrated customers waiting on service. The two associates working did not appear to be well versed with the computer system and programs. The manager spoke with me about the mechanical issue I had that left me stranded on a busy highway and promised someone would call. So far, no call.

Went to have hitch installed on my new 2019 vehicle. The manager, of all people, apparently thought it was a good idea to use a small steel/metal piece, kind of like a miniature crowbar, to try and get my tail light off. I was watching through the door.....concerned about him scratching my paint. Well, not only did he scratch my paint, but he also broke my tail light. Then first, before I saw the scratched paint, he was gonna go pay the dealership to replace the tail light. However, when I saw the scratches, he didn't say much and turns around and files a claim on insurance. Which only means it is going to take alot longer to get fixed. We are moving to another state next week.....which he already knew! A little common sense would have prevented this from happening in the first place!

We had a 3:00 appointment for a 2 hour hitch install. At 5:00, they started, then discovered they did not have the right parts and will not have them for a week. They obviously knew at noon they were running behind and could have called. Terrible customer service and concern for other people's time.

The only issue I have is the payment office. Why was I being charged for monthly rental when the U box was in my yard and not in storage? I received several, to me, rude mail demanding payment for something I didn't owe. If your company is no longer storing my Ubox, why should I pay monthly storage fees? I must say that Unique is the "BEST". Always friendly and prompt with return calls and willing to assist with my issue and solving them.

I interacted with two of your employees for my rental. The first one was Barb who I spoke with on the phone when I had to change the time of my reservation because I was running late. While I was spazzing out, Barb stayed very calm and professional and was very friendly and assured me that everything would be okay. She simply moved the time of my reservation up 30 minutes and told me that even if I felt like I might be later than that just to call back and she would continue to help me with no problems. When I arrived at the store I was greeted by Justin, who immediately made my wife and I feel extremely welcome. While he was typing up a contract and getting everything ready for us to go, he made conversation with us about the place we are moving, and was very very friendly and personable during the entire process. The only issue that I had with the truck was the passenger side mirror, every time I rode over a bump, the mirror shifted out of my view. So just get that taken care of, and the ride will be much smoother.

Too far to drive from Sullivans Island. You need service in Mt Pleasant. Personnel was great, both on phone and when returning.... just far away!

Much better than downtown location. Easy check in and check out. Great technology used for damage inspection. Manager very professional and pleasant. Although, the downtown location is closer to me, I will be using the Rivers Ave location. King Street is chaos, went there last month, stood in line for 50 minutes. Phones ringing off the hook. Attendant informed the customers that 2 employees “no showed”. When I returned truck, I walked in the office with keys and they told me to give them to “the guy in the parking lot”.... After searching 10 minutes and seeing several “guys in the parking lot” I was approached by a non uniformed man that asked “dropping off?” I sure hope he worked there...
