The trucks were all filled with merchandise that the store carries and sells. They tried telling me that all of the trucks were broken due to cadalitic converters being stolen, but we found out that they just take advantage of the neighborhood dealer program by using the trucks as free storage of their store's merchandise and continue to tell customers that their trucks are broken. I was left without a truck and to my own devices in securing a truck at a different location. I move every year and am reluctant on returning to using UHaul.JOSE L.

The customer service experience WAS ABSOLUTELY HORRIFIC!! I spent two hours getting this rental set up. there was a 52 minute hold for customer service. I spoke with Manager 0n Duty "Michelle" from your Corporate Office in Arizona the night before my rental. We agreed my drop off location was: 3615 Dorchester Rd. North Charleston SC 29405. Then the next day, after having already paid for my truck and driving it away from the rental place I get a text saying the drop-off location has changed to: 2155 Credit Union Lane North Charleston, SC 29406. I once again called Uhaul cust service and (9th call in 2 days) and spoke with "Miranda" who was supposed to have Manager "Michelle" call me back. She never did. Your entire business is SHIT SHOW of MORONS!!!! People who rent from you have to make plans and rely on the words they are told by the employees of your company. You cannot just change locations after the fact. I had someone coming to pick me up after the truck was dropped off at the prior location. There was no way to change that without significant difficulty!!! I will never rent from such a SHIT SHOW of a business again. Your recorded message when customers are on hold says "Uhaul keeps our promises". YOU DID NOT. YOU MADE THIS AN INCREDIBLE HASSLE FOR NO REASON.William B.

The first time I used this location about 2 months ago they the mileage was wrong on the contract, so I figure hey it's an honest mistake and they fix it. I used this location again yesterday and contract says truck needs to be returned with the starting amount of gas, 1/4 tank. Truck only has 1/8 of a tank when I get in. I bring it to the employees attention and she says I'll get a $22 reimbursement when I return it with 1/4 tank. Why not fix the contract? She didn't know how. These people are either scamming everyone that comes through that door or grossly incompetent. She didn't even know where my truck was at when I arrived. And they give me the keys to a truck that is blocked in by a trailor. Two thumbs down!!Brock K.

WARNING: be sure you verify they will actually BRING your UBoxes to your final address, BEFORE you load them up and send them away! I was moving and needed a temporary storage option for 6 weeks. I rented three UBoxes and they were delivered and picked up from the move-out with no problem; the driver was great! From there, it was all downhill. I called to arrange delivery and learned they won't bring the boxes to my new homeâ€¦I have no idea why! The options, now they they're basically holding my belongings hostage, are: (A) rent a truck and unload my storage units at the storage facility, then drive my belongings to the new house or (B) let them load the boxes onto a trailer and I can pull it, myself. So basically, I can foot the bill for an entirely separate second move -or I choose the convenient but â€œfeels wildly unsafeâ€ option of pulling this massive trailer with three containers on it. Unbelievable. Customer serviced asked if I verified my â€œdeliver toâ€ address - well, if it had been on the form I had to fill out to RENT the boxes, I guess I would have. Since I'm moving to a huge, established neighborhood in a central-located spotâ€¦why on earth would I have thought they wouldn't bring the boxes back???Rebecca F.

Seems like lady who took my order messed up my contact information, when I came to return vehicle and used website to return , I couldn't login because it was not matching what they had on file. just make sure you check that your trucks are in good condition to be used and that it provides security for those who drive them before renting them to your customers. Also make sure they are clean , bc the one they gave to me was full of mold in the drive area.THATIENE D.

Advise the next customer, should this happen for them, that a One-Way rental, such as a move from one city or state to another, is not subject to a refund for unused days (early turn in). Very disappointing to find out AFTER THE FACT, that a 9 day rental that turned into a 5 day rental, due to the Apartment management Co. and no Fault of our own), would not be refunded. Thanks U-haul. I will not be charged the full rate of two full days for a truck that I only rented for 4 hours I pick the truck up at 6 and had it back to your establishment by 10:30 and if there is any kind of argument about this I will hire a lawyer we can look at the cameras demand that the cameras people down I was charged the price full price of two full days for my truck and when I got there and bought the truck yesterday I signed a contract for only same-day rental and they charged me without my consent or two full days claiming a drop the car off about two hours ago?Leah H.

just your average drop off location. when I dropped the truck off the person said nothing to me. I asked if i needed to do anything else and she said "nope". I said have a great day and left... all in all just fine...Nicholas A.
Arrived to check in online and i still had to go inside to get the keys. The attendant didn't go outside with me and when I found the rear lift locked, I had to go back inside to ask her to unlock it. She did and then I find out the dolly I requested wasn't there, no apology or resolution were offered for this issue so at some point it felt like I was intruding on her time.IRVING S.

Inside the unit its self there is no lights and the problem with the key pad was an incovince to myself and I'm sure the staff also.
