TYROME VMy pickup location was changed the day of resulting in additional mileage charges and fuel charges. I specifically reserved a pickup on Clements Ferry Rd for convenience. I then had to drop the truck off at the new location rather than the location I had originally booked. I filled the fuel tank to the required half tank and was charged for it being less than half a tank when I dropped it off. Had I been able to drop the truck where I originally booked, the tank would be been fine.

ALLENE CThe $50 "Reservation Guarantee" That’s bull. If you have a guarantee you should honor it especially if it says that “ Should U-Haul, through its own fault fail to meet time, place and equipment size of your truck, trailer or towing equipment, a $50 "Reservation Guarantee" will be paid and U-Haul will still attempt to fill the reservation.”

Our trip from Charleston to our home in western NC was easy as the trailer was not as issue. On the highway home, the drop-off point was conveniently located on our right exactly 1 mile from our mountain. Thank you.

The employees at this location were very friendly and helpful. The location was very busy, and I think better organization on the admin end would make the checkout procedure more bearable. (or faster computers?? What a lengthy process!)

Once I pick up the rental it was still a wait time yes there was people in front of me but there should be a quicker and better way of doing this check in and check out.

JARROD BJustin is very helpful Michael is also very helpful The girl that set up the reservation is very helpful however the girl who checked in the return seems to be really standoffish and lacks customer service skills not that she was rude or anything but I have dealt with her before in the office and she isn't quite as friendly as the others in the office other than that I am highly upset that under a tornado warning not a watch but a warning with active tornadoes I was told that I would be charged extra if I did not have the rental returned on time when I called to let them know that I would be late due to the fact that there were two active tornadoes in my area I then had to wait until 7:00 a.m. to speak with somebody in corporate that told me that it was okay to be a little bit late but I wasn't able to wait until the warning was over so not only did I put myself at risk but the person coming to pick me up from dropping the rental off was also being put at risk this made it difficult to find somebody stupid enough to go out in a tornado warning to return a damn rental I believe you need to add a clause in your policy that when you are in a state of emergency especially under a tornado warning for active tornadoes in your area that people are allowed to wait until the tornado warnings expire without penalty before they go out and risk their lives to return a rental truck rental trucks are insured and can be replaced our lives are not and cannot !

ANDREW SI booked a U-Haul at the location off of clements ferry at 5 am. It took me 50 minutes to figure out that this location wasn’t set up for 24 hour pick ups so I had to call and switch to a new location. I was on a tight schedule so I really wish the online booking would’ve prevented me from selecting the first location.

KIM CIt was not quick or easy to use mobile pickup. Luckily there was an employee there early and she helped us out. I didn’t catch her name but she was very nice and helpful! We were on a strict time schedule and wouldn’t have made it if she hadn’t helped us.

Nathaniel RI was charged an extra $90 which I found to be unacceptable. I spoke with customer service who explained the extra charges which I also found unacceptable. I have always used U-Haul for all of my moving needs. I will never use your company again and will encourage all family and friends to do the same.

YOLANDA STrailer smelled like farm animals oor agricultural feed had been in it. Did appear to be maintained well however. Largest concern was for the staff. Never greeted or asked about the equipment. One guy brought a small boombox with him to check out the trailer. Never spoke to me as he checked and detached until he confirmed price. I felt invisible. It’s not hard to be generally kind or respectful. Wouldn’t return to this location

Sophia CI was notified at pick up time that no U-Haul was available…I called the number that was given by site personal. After several unsuccessful attempts I finally spoke to a representative of U-Haul. He told me where one was at. This rental was farther away… They did offer a couple extra miles…This did not help with my cash outflow with movers standing around on my dime.. Scott MChanged my pick up/drop off address 45 minutes prior to my appointment. Told me it was only a 6 mile difference. Those 6 miles were actually 13 miles and an hour and 15 minute drive due to traffic at that time. The uhaul was blocked in and employment was not helpful. The uhaul had 5 miles until empty and I ran out of gas just before the gas station and had to walk there and buy a gas tank which I will never use again so wasted money. After this awful experience I had very little time to complete my move due to the delays and terrible customer service.

I had turned in the uhaul autobody transport with Sebastian (who was quite helpful and courteous as well) and had seen how busy they were so Raven came in clutch as she was about to be off. At the end I turned in the 15’ truck to an African American young man who’s name started with an “A” and he was helpful as well — gave me time to fold up my 2 dozen blankets and avoid the fee. All in all an experience that was handled well on their end from the point of view of someone who had just flown to Detroit, had to pack up a uhaul in the snow, drove it all night down to SC, and then unload it to the storage unit in nonstop fashion. Truly appreciated them.
