I was given a vehicle with only an 1/8 of a tank of gas and told I needed to bring it back at least with a 1/4. My use of the vehicle was only 10 miles which would be less than a gallon of gas and instead I had to put 5 gallons in. I did get a 'fuel credit' but that didn't offset the fact I had to fill YOUR vehicle beyond what my use required. I am not satisfied with my rental experience due to that fact

When I spend nearly 700 dollars on moving trucks I expect them to be in top mechanical order and clean. I rented two trucks, both were filthy and one was a complete mess, previous renter took in mudding, it had a leaking window and a damaged cargo box that could have caused water damage to my property. Most importantly, no one went over the truck with me, they just handed me a piece of shit and charged me 300 dollars. I will never use uhaul again, I will happily drive well out of my way for my next move to find a quality truck from another vendor.

Complete the order. I ordered a trailer and hitch install because the Keene UHaul didn't get all the parts for the install. Keene had the hitch, so I bought it there and drove it to SC where the trailer AND HITCH INSTALL was arranged for and ordered over the phone. When I got there they only had record of the trailer, not the hitch install. I lost an entire day.

I was first given an estimate for $112 to rent a 20-footer to move my personal belongings from Charleston SC to Greenville SC. Date of lease was Friday, November 9, 2018. When I arrived on 11/09/2018, the estimate ballooned from $112 to over $300. The reasons I was given for this rise were that I was renting the truck on a weekend, and that I was using it out of town (thereby necessitating costing at per-mile basis). But I did indicate the date I intended to use the truck as well as the destination when I came for the estimate. My original intent was to return the truck to Charleston on 11\10/2018. But when it became obvious it would cost me more (following the per-mile basis calculation) to return the truck to Charleston, I then opted to also rent a vehicle tow to haul my personal vehicle along with me to Greenville. I then equally decided to drop off the truck and vehicle tow at Greenville. The total cost now came to more than $300! Yes, the staff members at this U-Haul franchise were courteous and helpful. But all that courtesy and helpfulness didn't begin to compensate for the financial inconvenience of the conflicting estimate of service rendering and the actual cost to me in reality - especially given than I had made plans, including signing off on my Charleston apartment rental cutoff date (11/10/2018) based on a certain fiscal projections. The pain became even more acute when a relation told me that I could have saved half the bill for truck rental by using Enterprise Rent-a-truck especially given I am a platinum Enterprise card holder. I promise to be wiser next time around, though..! To make things easier for any client coming through after my nasty experience, what about consigning the job of making estimates for prospective customers to an experienced staff member who will ask the client, including those not fully versed in the rental business, all the necessary questions and properly guide them through the process? The obverse world be to keep cultivating a growing assemblage of thoroughly spooked clientele base

I filled the gas tank to 1/4 as it should be and it was 1/4 when I return the vehicle. The person who initially assigned me this vehicle was the same person who told me that gas is not 1/4 but less than 1/4 and I have to go back and get more gas. In fact, my gas meter was above 1/4 and when I came back and complaint to the person who took care of the return.

Older trailer will dents and dings. But tires, brakes and other important parts all looked in good order. Although inside was swept clean it had previously carried some sort of substance that left a thick residue in one area that would get on anything I placed there. Overall great service. Corporate UHaul probably needs to replace older equipment sooner or do a better job in rehabbing older equipment. In this case it is more an appearance issue than function.

I ordered a cargo van and it was not available when they said it would be available. The customer service agent Will was very helpful though and did what he could to find the closest and next availbe option. Very helpful and i will definitely use the same uhual location to rent again. Thank you

I rented the truck for 8 hours and the next day hot a bill for $74. I called the store and told them a dolly was not used nor asked for but I was charged for one. The woman said she would email the manager and let him know. Now this morning I received a bill for $82. For 1 day this is unacceptable. I've rented uhaul many times and never had to pay an amount this high. Especially for 8 hours! I would appreciate the bill to be corrected and maybe even discounted due to the inconvenience. I'm honestly not happy with this experience.
