Trailer towed nicely and was solid mechanically. I had taken the time to Pre-Check in to avoid going inside, as stated on the UHaul App, and scheduled our crews meeting & move times accordingly. Arrived 8 minutes early for my 9:30 appt., then was told I had to wait in line, the 45 minute wait put me very behind, late, the rest of the day, not cool at all. Checking in, Twice, was not happy about all the wasted time...Thx

Truck clean, prompt service upon arrival

The guy at the counter was great. Then he called in his manager who was confronting rude and horrible. Was talking unkindly about how I parked my truck to his worker with me standing there, no one else was in the parking lot and I was leaving directly. I asked him if he was having a rough day and he barked back at me and walked out the door. Very cold, rude, and disrespectful. I spent $700. To be treated like this? I wouldn’t recommend my enemy to talk to him. The other guy helping was great.

The trailer stuck, so when it snowed and froze could not get it open. The customer service at Rochester North location was excellent. The Rochester South location the customer service was ok, but could have been better. Also I got a storage unit from the U-Haul South and there was snow in front of unit, I had to dig it out myself to put items in. I like using U-Haul but these things could be better. Thanks!

The key to the uhaul truck was able to start the truck but would not lock/unlock both the doors. It took more than 3 hours to find a solution and we lost 3 good hours of daylight and could not complete our move out !! Ridiculous !

Nothing I can think of, I’ve always had a good experience with U-Haul in that location except one time this black lady waited on me. She had no experience about anything. Plus, she had a terrible attitude…. In other words, she was a purebred bitch and I was so glad they got rid of her fat ass. I felt like punching her in the face and unhinge her jaw, but she wasn’t worth going to jail for , I have no clue why these 300 pound black bitches, always have nasty attitudes. The guy that waited on me the other day when I rented a car dolly was very polite and professional. He took my information hooked up the car dolly check the lights to see if they were working and had me on my way in about 10 minutes. I didn’t get his name, but you should be proud to have somebody like him representing your company

As with most U-Haul locations, the locations are clearly understaffed, and the staff are overworked. It makes for a miserable experience for everyone.

Your survey options do not address enough items that happened to me on my interaction with u-haul so this is where I tell you what happened. I called a u-haul location (rent-to-own) in Cadillac, Michigan to rent a truck for one way trip to Rochester, Minnesota two weeks before we needed it. He told me that they should have one when we needed it. Two days before we were to pick it up I get a phone call from u-haul saying there wasn't a truck available at the location I made the reservation with but there was one 15 miles away. We had driven all night Thursday night to get to Cadillac for a 1:00 funeral for my father-in-law and then had to have that done in time to drive to some little town 15 miles away to get the truck before they closed. That was quite an inconvenience at a time like that. U-haul should have moved your truck that 15 miles and made our experience a pleasant one. When we dropped the truck off in Rochester the location was closed so we dropped the key in the lockbox so I could not say if the personnel there were helpful or not. I rated the other questions of the drop-off location on appearance only.

Tires on the trailer were not properly inflated. One was only 40psi and one was 80psi. This was according to a pressure gage that I use for my own vehicles.

The rep cleaned the windows when we picked up the vehicle because he want happy with how clean they were. The vehicle ran great and was clean. Impressive milage for a full size van. Great crew and great equipment. Keep up the good work.

A quick experience. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Pickup was a breeze. Drop-off was even easier. We'll definitely be using their service again and highly recommend to everybody else. Also, forgot to mention the rates are pretty decent as well.

The ramp was full of snow and ice making it difficult to use. Would also be much more helpful to have wider ramps with some sort of pulley device attachment to assist with getting heavy items up ramp.

The Team here was hard pressed that Saturday, as a software update had crashed their systems. The hustled to manually check us out, and get us on our way. Excellent crew. :)

I felt bad for the staff as corporate thinks it was a good idea to do updates during business hours. Made their jobs harder and was unnecessary. I didn't mind waiting but corporate needs to quit being cheap and pay the extra fee so updates can happen at night.

Excellent service! The van I drove here from out west had a busted back door, jammed shut. We couldn't get anyone from roadside assistance to handle it because of the cold weather causing so many tickets, so I took it over to Civic Center drive to see what they could do. Didn't catch his name but the short guy on staff is a true pro, he came out and got it un-jammed in less than a minute, and gave me a few extra days to make up for the time lost. Classic no-nonsense solid service. I'll be getting my next van rental through this location when the time comes.

When I went to empty out my storage unit, I had mouse droppings and pretzels (not from me) all over my stuff. I showed the worker there and he said there should have been a mouse trap in my unit but there clearly wasn’t. I haven’t unpacked my stuff yet to see if there is further damage but now I get to spend several more hours cleaning all my property of mice contamination. Not happy about that. Plus the lady I spoke to when ordering the unit explained a completely different unit style and location. She said ground floor and I was not on ground floor, she said the unit had a loft and it did not. Honestly I’m not even sure she knew what she was talking about. Also The latch needs to be oiled. It’s almost finger breaking to unlatch the unit door.

Super friendly staff and very accommodating. Showed us many options on storage units to use, even from other locations. Had a sliding door in front of our unit that they allowed us to back up to and open to have easy access to the unit. Definitely recommend.

The facility was well maintained and the staff are great, but there were three reason I gave below average score; 1. Not having 24 hr access or at least til 9pm. 2. The door closest to my unit that was supposed to be unlocked during business hours never was. I’m a disabled veteran with mobility issues and had to walked further because the door was never unlocked. 3. My storage fee went up twice. It was only a small amount each time but the first time was after only a few months into moving in.

Hello Your customer service call center does not work. When the location forwards it calls to customer call center and they tell you the sent a message to the local office but they never received it.
