The trailer brakes were not functioning properly, the customer support when i called was terribly slow and did not help anything. I will never rent a car trailer from you again. We showed up to the site we were told, an hour away from our houseâ€¦there was no U-Haul and the location was closed. We had to call customer service, they sent us to another locationâ€¦only four miles from our original starting location. Overall, the experience cost us a lot of money, time, and we now need to rent another truck another day because this experience took so much time out of the day. I can't begin to describe how disappointed we are and how much this experience negatively impacted our move. My husband is gone with the military, so it was up to me to get everything moved. My friends and family were so willing to help, but because of U-Haul it was a terrible experience and we couldn't get everything done we needed to. Now I'm out alot of time and money that is so valuable to us.Grace L.

The windshield had a crack in it. There was a sticker on that it had been acknowledged by Uhaul from a former customer. The windshield should've be replaced before sending it back on the road.JOANN MARIE H.

Very good service from UHaul. The only negative would be for the add on help. I contacted Mighty Men Movers however they were not available at the time requested. You could make it more obvious on the outside of the building where to drop the keys after hours. It took me about 20 minutes in the dark to find it. Otherwise, the rental went well, and this is a really great location. Thanks!Michelle H.

The door to opening up the back of the truck is jammed on the tracks and hard to open. The truck has an acceleration problem. It was manageable i've driven U-Haul trucks before but you might want to do a check up on this truckGail G.

the truck leaked water on passenger side > i was soaking wet for hours. the location and personal were outstanding. we turned it in at midnight there was no one to tell about leaking and i was too tired.SUE CLARK P.
I had originally scheduled to pick up my truck on Sunday before the location opened. When I showed up at 7 AM, I was unable to pick it up and had to come back at nine, which cost me a little over two hours of moving time. When I showed up, the owner said he forgot to open the store online and that was why I couldn't pick it up originally. The check in process was smooth, But when I received the truck, they had grabbed the wrong one and mileage and gas was off. The owner had to go back in, re-check me in to give me the correct truck, and then I could leave. Overall, it took about 45 minutes from when I showed up at 9 AM. Everyone was nice and I do believe they were honest mistakes, but it was very unorganized and overall a very unpleasant experience.Mark M.

Windshiled was VERY DIRTY, bug splattered and very hard to see out of. Mileage on my contract was one mile off the mileage on the vehicle, and when you are required to pay for mileage this should be accurate. .Claire B.

I rented an 8x5 enclosed trailer. It was clean and performed well. I was concerned about the hitch on the trailer, however, which was badly worn and had a severe stress fracture. I pointed it out to the attendant when I returned the trailer and he said he would have someone deal with it. Hopefully it gets fixed or replaced before it is rented again.Leonard K.

I used to work for Uhaul so this will be biased. The basic service was fine. There's too much swiping and card reading and doors for my taste, but I get it. The counter is where the break is and always will be. No one knew how to use the door device, it took some time to figure out if it was the right one and if it even worked or not. Hire people and pay them accordingly so someone can be at the counter at all times and people can be out in the lot at the same time helping people. You guys never paid people for the amount of work you dump on them, and let them unionize if they want to Joe. I was offered a job if I wanted it, but really would not want to work for such a megalomaniacal greedy behemoth where the shareholders are more important than the workers. Sadly it is how all future corporations will be. Tell Bezos the same thing at your next rich guy meeting.
