Pls make sure you put a camera on your track...sometimes its hard to see whats in the back when driving...otherwise everything is good!

Truck door sensor malfunctioned. Had to slam door. Drop off was quick but was told tgat I would be emailed later any issues. I did not have any but if I had it was my word against U Haul.

Waited in store for 15 minutes and had to go looking for help at scheduled pick up time. Driver Side door broken wouldn't close all the way.. Dropped off truck with 1/4 tank slightly above what I received with the rental.of gas and was charged 70.00 for fuel, which I have a fuel receipt and only drove 49 miles. I usually have no issues renting from this location but this is a problem. Based on this last experience I cannot recommend this site.

The gentleman that was supposed to hook my trailer up was not able to do it. I had to do it myself. The same with the disconnect. But before I was finished disconnecting the man was asking for a tip, multiple times. Finally I said I had no cash on me. Then he was saying nasty things about my in a different language while he walked away from me in disgust.

I have had nothing but problems with uhaul lately. Multiple breakdowns a exhaust poisoning in one vehicle causing me to throw up after napping at a rest area. Electrical issues with no headlights. 5 breakdowns in one vehicle alone. We used your moving labor folks and were scammed by them. All around every single interaction with your company in the last 30 days has been disappointing. We were told we would be compensated with our last rental by uhaul because we lost a day and much money eith all the previous rentals but that still has a 700 balance due for a uhaul rental which we have refused to pay. Since the only reason the final trip was needed was because of Uhauls defective equipment. We have allways used Uhaul for our business needs but these current situations have caused us to re evaluate our needs. You can view our records for the last couple of years we have had no less than 400 rentals we have allways dealt with breakdowns and issues as a part of doing business. However this current situation is completely unacceptable and could have killed me. I was advised by many people to sue uhaul yet I wasn't going to do this because your company was supposedly going to make it right. However in light of this I will be re evaluating my choices in the next couple of weeks.

All of my stuff has damage from moisture. Some things I even had to throw out because of mold. It is most definitely NOT climate controlled as advertised

They over charged my credit card. The personal made bad calculations of mile mile from Hackensack to Rutgers University and back, Initially, i requested a 6X12 Cargo trailer prior to pick up. Was never made a were of lock of the 6X12 Cargo trailer before pic up. They tried to force me to take an open trailer. I was only provided a 55 cents per mile!! I was given only 3 hours of rental instate of a day!! It's not my first time renting from there, I am a regular costumer.

The vehicle electronic key would not unlock or lock the doors. The key would not turn off the car alarm, which would sound every time I opened the door. The key was bent and would not open. The passenger sun visor was shattered - glass fell on my passenger. Truck bed was not cleaned - piles of screws on the floor. Mileage was inaccurate. Quoted me one rate - charged me another. Should have stuck with Budget like or Enterprise - their rates are better and their vehicles are maintained.

I'm a frequent renter and see the condition of the vehicles deteriorating. Last truck I rented had a bad transmission. This time, the 1st vehicle I was given had nails & screws in the tires. Then the ignition key to the second vehicle did not unlock the passenger doors. I called the roadside service (& I am still waiting for a reply, 48 hours later). Had to use a coat hangar to free the door.

What a horrible experience. The 20 ft truck would not go uphill over 30 mph. The truck sounded like it was going to explode. I thought it might be a race car passing by me. But it wasn't. Then I thought maybe it's a diesel truck but it wasn't that either. Finally I stopped for gas and found it to be regular unleaded. A hour ride took us close to 2 1/2 hours because you couldn't go over 45-50 miles per hour. I put $80 in total for 190 miles. The truck needed oil which AAA had to put in when I was getting gas for the last time heading back after having to do an extra trip thinking that the weight might be a factor in the performance but again we could not get it to go any faster or the noise go away. I will never rent from Uhaul or recommend to anyone. If asked I instead will tell of my horrible experience. I left my friends dollies and blankets in the truck and when I called for them was told nothing was found. I had to buy 2 dollies and a dozen blankets for the person who lent me them. I was told 4 times that a regional manager was going to call me and until now, nothing. No call but I keep getting a Bill for a charge that I told Uhaul I wanted to put on a different card. What a horrible experience. Someone needs to call me to straighten this out. 718-306-2973 Thanks Eric F

I told the person that I was moving a 3 bedroom to a 2 bedroom. The offered me a 10 ft truck and said it would be space. That was a lie. I ended up having to rent a second truck from somewhere else. Terrible.

The individual connecting the equipment was not helpful. He was on the phone. I tried explaining I was moving 800+ miles and needed help connecting the trailer lights etc. I was told to go to another uhaul location. For a female, driving these things isn't easy, and driving them in large cities makes that drive even worse. Not only that but he was on the phone for the entire time.

I don't blame saddle brook location as much as I blame the uhaul reservation over the phone. It's a poor way to do business. When I got to saddle brook for the 6x12 trailer at my appointed time they did not have the trailer. I was stuck so I had to rent a truck which cost me $100 more. When you reserve a trailer you expect it to be there. Unacceptable to leave customers stranded.

Slow service. Did not have furniture blankets available for rent so I had to buy them. Upon returning the truck, I had no idea what to do (where to drop keys, if I had to stay to receive receipt, go to front desk, etc.) and employees were not helpful when I asked. You need more explicit instructions for returning vehicles so that customers aren't just left standing around with 0 clue.

Due to lack of availability, I was forced to pick up the truck over 30 miles round trip from my home which of courses cost me more than double what I would have normally paid if the multiple closer uhaul locations had availability. I made this reservation over a week in advance. It's unfortunate to have to pay so much additional.

You facility had a roof leak and damaged my items. I was told it my problem because I didn’t have separate insurance. I really don’t care what the contract says. You have a building that’s not maintained and that should not be my problem. I lost three months of Rent payments and thousands of dollars because I have to throw out all my items from the damage. I will never recommend or use that facility again for storage.

No bugs, or rodents! However; building really needs updating. Stairs and steep ramp are too cumbersome. Moving extremely tiresome, difficult, and dangerous. No customer appreciation. Workers nice.
