The employee didn't explain the checkout process when I went to pickup the truck. He just said use the app and that's all. It would be a little nice if they can give a little more info than just that. Especially someone who is going to drop off the truck after business hours. Which by the way took me 45 minutes because the website was having technical issues and I wasn't sure if the checkout process was complete while I was standing in the rain taking pictures of the truck on the outside. There wasn't any numbers to call for customer service to help with the after hours issues posted anywhere. Lastly nothing was mentioned by the employee about the environmental fees estimated motor vehicle tax which I ended up paying $10 more than I should have and also did not receive a refund for the remaining balance for not using the total mileage estimated which was less than 10 mi. Going forward I will not use UHal anything. I really hope that this survey does not fall on deaf ears and someone takes proper actions regarding my matter.

The van I rented was great after I returned that I got a 20 ft truck as I was driving the windshield wiper came off and I had to tape it to hold it in place in the pouring rain

Customer service when picking g up was lacking. The link to take a picture of my license wasn’t working and took forever. The person who was “helping “ us did her job but that was about it didn’t smile once. We were given the keys and we were sent outside alone to find the van like a scavenger hunt and left to use the app to check in our vehicle. I see even U-Haul made their process self checkout essentially. It is really sad to see business are doing away with customer service. I would definitely use a different provider and pay more, to see some outstanding customer service. We chose this location because it is close to our business but there are others no too far away.

The online reservation process is cumbersome and confusing. Assistance is needed even for those who are comfortable using smart phone technology. Also, the prices are misleading. It says 19.95 to rent in town, we only used it in Saddle Brook and in total we drove the van less than 10 miles. Still the cost to rent the van was over $60 for four hours. I think it is misleading for your customers.

This facility is a horror. I had to throw items away at clean out due to roach infestation and my worries of bringing that to my house. This place is disgusting. I will never refer anyone to this storage. The lady at the front desk however Is a sweetheart. That’s why this place gets 1 star.

The pre-use communication for loading pictures and challenging pictures, gas measurement readings and mileage Were ALL wrong and it would not allow uploading of pictures to show proof. Staff is always consistently friendly and very helpful but the automated side of U-Haul is terrible.

I rented a cargo van on Saturday then realized that I needed something bigger on Sunday in order to finish moving storage. Aliyah(m sorry m horrible with names) , she was there Saturday and Sunday, helped me both times at pick up and drop off times. She was friendly, professional and made the entire process easy. Everything was a 5+ star service.

The vehicle was very old. Passenger window not working and truck beaten up thru age. Staff is great as always. Never a complaint. I was very satisfied with my U-Haul installation for my hitch on my Tesla. The installer was very aware of any hazards that might cause damage while installing the new hitch. He works clean and organize. Highly recommend this location for installation.

The only reason I’m giving this Uhaul storage 2 stars is because the front desk lady was extremely helpful. Now on to the rest. Let’s start by saying this storage facility is an absolute dump. How do they have the nerve to have 3 floors and no elevators? I guess I’m supposed to haul furniture on my back ? The hallways are damp and cold, the storage units themselves have no light. I literally felt like I was walking down the hallways of eastern state penitentiary in its decomposing state. I dropped off my belongings because I had no choice but I will be removing everything before the month is up. DO YOURSELVES A FAVOR, LOOK FOR A DIFFERENT STORAGE FACILITY!!!!!!

When I pick up the track fuel level was very low and odometer showing 33 miles to the end of gas. When I returned the track with the same level of gas, the worker charge me for $19.20. referring to the issuing employee who noted on the computer that there was 1/4 gasoline in the tank

One thing to comment the gentleman that was supposed to help me get the trailer off. The truck was told to move the straight job and he did not then he informed me to go around it and I wound up getting stuck by a pole with the trailer then he insisted he wanted to get in my truck to drive it, and I told him no And he said where will you put the trailer? I says I cannot back up. I am not an expert at this. You are not driving my vehicle like you insist. I am leaving it right here.

Go back to having the truck pulled out for you, so you don’t need to walk back and forth on ice and snow to get help to open the frozen rear door. Service has severely declined

I rented a small truck for $19.99 which was shown on the vehicle and it went up to $37 provisionally when I register at the cashier. I had the truck for 2 hours and I drove the truck for 15 miles in total. The final charge in my bank account was $66.37. So $19.95 became in $66.37 after 2 hrs of leasing. This is a rip off

Accessing the storage was a hassle. My given access code was not working, then miraculously after 15 minutes of trying, it finally let me in. There were multiple bugs, and I had no idea there was no elevator in the facility. If that would have been mentioned I would have never purchased a unit, and the only reason I still kept it was because it was after hours and I couldn’t speak to anyone. When I move my belongings out, I will never use this facility again, nor recommend it.

Lourdes employee there assign me a storage unit and two weeks later i got to the storage and all my belongings were out in the hall where anyone had access to my things and staff supposely didnt know who they belong too. My kids laptop was stolen and Two sneaker boxes which one contained lysol cleaning wipes and the other had a pair of new jordans. What they did to clear it up was assign me another unit and told me Carlos would reach out in regards to my stolen property and till now I haven't heard from them so i removed my things. They have cameras, they could of viewed but seems like they did and covered it up. Im just wondering how would they have felt if this was to happened to anyone there or anyone else in general.

I specifically asked if there was an elevator and I was told yes. I would never rent a storage on the 3rd floor with no elevator. I did not feel like the wooden doors with no seal would protect my things properly. The building has no climate control at all. I was booked into a proper storage quicker than I had access to unpack and thank God.

The employees lie about available trucks so they can charge more money for one way rentals. Total scam. They told the same lie to multiple customers who had reservations for 26 foot uhaul trucks that were to be returned to the same location that day. They had a ton of one-way 26-footers though.. it’s understandable if they need a truck to be local for future reservations.. but to say that a truck can be returned to any location in the united states…. Except theirs…. “Because of policy”… is a lie that is meant to take advantage of customers and make more money. Uhaul is not military friendly… find a better, more reliable, and respectable business.

I’m a little concerned. I was just about to purchase a lock for the storage unit but was informed there would be a lock provided in the unit. However when I went to put my belongings in the unit there was as no lock provided, just a rat poison box. I then had to drive an additional 34 miles at 11:00 at night searching for a place to purchase a lock. I was also told the unit was large enough to accommodate a king size mattress and a few boxes, that was also incorrect as the unit was not large enough to accommodate the mattress. I am over all unsatisfied with the service to this point.. The staff thus far have been polite.

In regards to the storage unit when I first tried to have people in the store help me they were unable to. When I went online I booked a 2nd floor Room and still managed to get on the 3rd floor! And it is a little ridiculous that floor 2 and 3 have to first go up stairs when I asked for help they say their is a ramp but the ramp starts on the 2nd floor where I was supposed to originally be not up the stairs and up a ramp..... I will never rent from this place again have a life or something

The facility was not easy to navigate, and after moving for 10 hours with one other person, a little assistance on where to go would have been nice. It would be helpful if you were clear about 3rd floor units having staircases and steep ramps with no elevator!!!!!!!!!! That move in process was exhausting!

Todo estuvo perfecto en el recibo del vehículo en Minnesota y el personal súper atentos. La devolución del track y tower no fue para nada agradable. Como clienta mujer esperaba mayor amabilidad en la entrega y no que tenía que saber como desengranar el camión del remolque que venía con mi carro. Yo venía de conducir 20 horas para encontrarme con semejante cuento. Los que recibieron el vehículo dijeron que eso no les correspondía hacerlo y que yo debía pagar un fee si quería que ellos lo hicieran. Yo respondí que no tenía conocimiento de ello pues en mi contrato no decía nada de esas tarifas extra pero que si estaba establecido en el sistema yo lo pagaba y finalmente no lo cargaron. Creo que solo tiraron el aventón. Ese detalle genera desconfianza. No me pareció honesto de esos dos empleados en Saddle Brook.

You facility had a roof leak and damaged my items. I was told it my problem because I didn’t have separate insurance. I really don’t care what the contract says. You have a building that’s not maintained and that should not be my problem. I lost three months of Rent payments and thousands of dollars because I have to throw out all my items from the damage.
