I would give a better rating but my rating is solely because of Alex Eaton. I've had the non pleasure of dealing with the lackluster lazy and quite franking condescending employee on multiple occasions and he brings the store down. Last August I rented and took the time to make a complaint against the was he treated 9ne of your employees in front of me and nothing ever happened. I know times are tuff an it's hard to find employees but this employee is lazy rude and spends more time on his phone or bossing other's around well he does a whole lot of nothing! On a positive note I was thrilled to see today when I brought the truck back that the older guy with the glasses who is so warm and courteous was still with you.. I thought the 6 x 12 open trailer (the biggest you have) would be the right size for my UTV, but the opening at the ramp is not 6 feet wide - I damaged my UTV trying to get it on and it didn't wok out for meDennis P.
The Ubox experience was terrible. The box was not dropped off to us on the day it should have been. Had to make many calls about getting it picked up when it was supposed to be picked up. (A different location -Bedford NH) ended up helping out, and picking up the box. I spent hours on the phone trying to make sure this delivery went smoothly, which I should not have had to do. The box was then sent to Pensacola FL who was unable to deliver it as promised, so they sent it to Fort Walton Beach, which should have been the original destination. The absolute best part of the experience was Pat from Fort Walton Beach Uhaul, who delivered the box on time, was so accommodating, friendly, and was our best contact with Uhaul. If not for our end experience with him, I would never consider using Ubox again.Julie S.

I rented a truck and trailer, it's obvious that he needs to be hooked up but when I arrived normally was not hooked up and ready it snow the night before and the vehicle wasn't cleaned off so I had to do that by hand. Not such a big deal but when the customer service is lacking it gets a little annoying. I can go to any other U-Haul that's around me this one is just convenient but if I reserve online, put in my credit card and then check in online ahead of time it would make more sense that everything is ready when I arrive so they don't have to go through the whole process and weight againChris E.
The only issue I had with U-Haul is that, NOT one person warned me that the trailer was not a good "fit" for my vehicle to tow! No one, not even customer service at the 1-800-Go-Uhaul advised me on what trailer size would be best suited for my vehicle...so I'm pretty upset with that..other than that, the customer service people at the Salisbury location were courteousJOSIE M.

I would never rent a unit from Uhaul EVER again. It was a nightmare from the start. The only upside was that it was free to keep my stuff there for 6 weeks after arguing with the manager about the rate. Then when the day came to move out they had put a lock on my unit. this was my 2nd time renting from the location. 1st experience was fine. the 2nd rental/van was was dirty on the inside and outside. all 4 tires were covered in mud. inside, there was white animal hair on the seats, food or something on the steering wheel, something spilled across the passenger seat. lastly, the interior reeked of men's cologne. it was mild at first, but after 30 minutes of driving w/ the windows open, i could feel my nostrils burning. i'm not exaggerating. it was awful, but it was too late in the day to turn around; i had to be at my destination first-thing Friday morning.MATHEWJOHN D.

When I reserved a unit, the rep didn't actually successfully reserve it, so another unit had to be secured on move day. Other than that everything was smooth, thanks! 3rd time renting a 6x12 trailer in last two months the Salisbury location is a great place to rent fromWALTER L.
The person completing the rental engaged for 15 minutes with a customer about the ins and outs of Everett football with three customers including myself, waiting. Returning the vehicle I complained that I refueled the truck with 5 gallon after driving 30 miles with a practical empty truck. The attendant who processed the return assured me that 6miles/gallon is normal for a Silverado in city driving. I drove from Salisbury to Ipswich on 1A vv, hardly city driving. The fuel gauge showed full on departure and after refueling. I won't use this Uhaul location again.HENDRIK T.

For Self check-in, U-haul should think about per-warning or providing customers with a detailed 'PRINTABLE' instruction process 'Before' they opt for this method. It is not yet user friendly, although a great service to have, and reps were just a phone call away which made this process successful. GREAT Support System there! THANKS.MIA C.

We chose Uhaul Storage as the location was convenient for what we were looking for and not for the service or management. Do not waste your time on the website looking for a unit to rent/reserve. The online reservation and email confirmation you receive mean absolutely nothing. If you call them or speak to them in person they will tell you that the units are given out first come first serve at physical check-in and that the reservation you have taken the time to make does not hold a space for you. Moving in itself is stressful enough, but packing all week and moving all day, hours in a truck, and then finding out that the storage size you are requesting is sold out that day is not available when you plan to arrive is just the most unsettling news. Luckily while we were a just a few hours from arriving to the facility they called us back and told us a room had just opened up. There should be a way to be able to reserve ahead of time and pay in advance in order to hold a room for your arrival.Ava P. | First Impressions

A lock was supposed to be included in the rental of the storage unit and was supposed to be found just inside the door of the empty unit but there was no lock and when I returned to the office was told that they were out of stock, fortunately we had our own from a previous rental! Otherwise a great rental experience so far. I rented a truck too. Pleasant staff, his name was Matthew. Today I would have had to wait an hour for someone to pick up the phone (automated machine told me). Plus, my "free lock" was NOT placed in my unit like they said they would. This facility is clean and convenient. The Manager (Adrian) is knowledgeable and the remainder of the staff (Alex) struggle, for example my reserved storage unit wasn't really reserved, and my unused cardboard box return which had been purchased earlier in the day was returned with a receipt, and yet I got a shrug of the shoulders and "something is wrong and we can't give you a return receipt but the money _should_ return to your CC in a few weeks", from the same employee who incorrectly told me my unit was reserved a few weeks ago.
