Uhaul in general is an impressive company and this store and facility in particular is the best of the best. From the folks who work the counter and will carry supplies to your car to the manager who when we first started renting the unit ran me to my house in the neighborhood when my wife and I had a problem with one of our cars there. We are using Uhaul for our move and will definitely use them if we need storage in our new town. Thank you!

I was told the uhaul had 1/2 a tank. It only had a quarter of a tank. I took a picture and called and told them. They said it wasn't an issue and would take the charge off. I just looked at my charged and it says it's an extra $24 for 8 gallons. I put gas back in. So why do I have this extra charge?

The storage units need refurbished. A little pricey compared to others. Was convenient due to uboxes being there. The employees work very hard and are very busy. But the place is overburdened. I don’t like to go there because it takes a very long time for service. There aren’t enough employees for the amount of customers.

i have rented from u haul lots and lots of times and the lady that helped me was very rued to me she acted like i was going to steal yall truck or something i felt like a prisoner . After arriving for my truck i waited almost 30 min, before she came inside to help me then she had me take a picture front and sideways . i told her wow ive never had to do this before and she said really then the other people must not be doing there jobs too well . i was like ok then. Some people came in behind me and rented but she didnt take thier pitcure . so why just me ?

I did not know that dropping a trailer at U-Haul once done was an option. The Dallas, Ga. location was closed and I went to two other locations which had no space for trailers of the size I rented. The last place I visited informed me that I could merely drop the trailer at the original destination and take pictures of disconnected trailer and surroundings which I did yesterday.

If someone does not use the pads that they originally reserve be kind enough to refund them the rental cost. Or don't say your going to refund the rental cost and never do it after you have told me you would.

The drop off place has absolutely no parking for drop offs especially if no one is in the office. I keep getting charged for an extra day because I could not drop the truck off and drop the keys like they said to do because the truck would have had to park in the road and that was not a safe place for it and it would have been towed.

One of the straps was severely frayed and so it was shorter. We had to let the air out of the tire to make it work. We were afraid it would break. The strap needs to be replaced. It's a safety issue. Otherwise, the trailer was perfect for what we needed.

I was charged 120.00 for extending for 3 days, after I was told they were not going to charge me since I am a regular customer. Very disappointed.

Prepayment and pre check in is useless. Stood in line and then had to check in all over. Pads and dollies not available. When I reserve and pre pay I expect to get pads. Employee did not wear a mask. I don't believe the truck was sanitized as I wiped it down and rags came up black with grime.

They didn't have a truck assigned to me so the mobile check-in was pretty much pointless. I still had to wait in line the same amount of time. They only had one person working the counter and there was a long line.

Fire Armando. Take him off your list of movers. He said he would be at my apt. by 9:00. It was 10:30 before he showed up. He told me the U-haul we had was not big enough (a lie). While my son goes to get another truck, he takes off saying he has another job that will only take 1 1/2 hours. We wait. He does not show up. I call/text. He said it would be another 30 min to an hour. We wait, he does not show up. I call. He told me he was in the middle of a two day job and when he can take a break he would come. I told him when I hired him, I was moving to Baytown and needed to be off by 12:00 noon. I started calling around to find someone else. He calls back mad and said because we were looking to hire someone else, he was cancelling the job. He HAD no intention of coming back. We didn't get off until 7:30 that night. Did not get in until 11:00 the next morning. We had people lined up to help us at 9:00 the next morning and had to call and make other arrangements. Thankfully U-haul reimbursed us, but because Armando caused us to get off late, the frustration and aggravation he caused, I feel he owes us double the amount we paid. It was a horrible, horrible experience.

The online check in is fine as long as it could be user friendly. We had tried both check in & out. After a few frustrating minutes we just went inside and dealt with a real person. We returned a trailer at 1am and since we didn't check it in online we were charged an extra day. I guess it's too much trouble to look at the number on a trailer and use sone basic reasoning.

Lavell Ford is the only employee that knows how to run this store. The other one's just walk around confused not will to attempt to help a customer or even learn what they are supposed to be doing. Lavell needs a huge pay raise and a promotion asap!!

Ensure the tires are properly inflated. We had a 1421 mile trip with a trailer that swayed terribly. It was a safety hazard to us and other drivers on the road.

Both the San Angelo facility as well as the Houston facility and employees made this unexpected rental need a very easy experience. Couldn't be more satisfied. The San Angelo employees went above and beyond to be helpful. Highly recommend.

The unit was dirty as can be when I arrived and over the 2 months I had my items stored there they became absolutely covered in dirt that fell from the ceiling. If I didn't have a plastic cover over my mattress and vehicles seats they would have been ruined. Not a terrible experience but nothing was said about the dirt to me prior to moving my personal belongings in which definitely should have happened. Additionally, there were no lights in the unit itself which was unfortunate but a lock was provided to me so that was nice, didn't have to purchase or use my own.
