My lock was cut on my unit and a lot of my belongs, including my legal documents was thrown out. Kabul refused to do a thing about it when ir was reported. about 4 months ago you tried to get funds from my bank account without my permission. Just so happens there was no money in my account. I contacted haul with my complaint. I informed you that you DO NOT have and never had my permission to auto debit my account. The following month you did it again. That time you caused a lit of financial problems I'm trying ti deal with to this day. one if the problems you have caused, I am about to be evicted from my home and become homeless because I have nowhere to go. because of the worry and stress I have been hospitalized twice. I asked if these are the reasons I was allowed to get my belongings without paying and was told that was part of the reasons. And partly because that is what haul dose and that, I don't believe. I did pick up a load share in Indianapolis to Columbus GA. The manager in Indianapolis, Pam was one of the most rude, caustic and nasty individuals I have ever met. She needs some serious counseling. I asked the employees (after she berated one for NO REASON, he was trying to help), and they said she is rude and nasty every day. 7425 East Washington St. I have never seen a manager behave so poorly and rudely in my life. They did not have time to clean the van, and I'm fine with that. However, they charged me a cleaning fee, which they did not disclose was even possible in advance. Why the hell should I pay a cleaning fee for a van that was already dirty when I picked it up. To complicate matters, I have been trying to get a hold of someone at U-Haul to discuss this to no avail no. I recommend any future renters refuse any cleaning fees in advance and get it in writing. It's a scam, and because I haven't been able to speak to anyone, I am left to dispute the charge with my credit card company. All this over $25, but it's the principle for me.Zachary C.

I went there 6:50pm. Working hour was untill 7pm. He refused to check my rental truck and do physical returning process. he told me that he is not working anymore and closing the store. He told me to do online returning and after i said please do physical for me since i came to store in working hour, he told me give the key, â€œyou dont understandâ€. How rude someone can be. I received text message an hour later. He charged me for cleaning fees ($25). Because the 2 blanket ms wasnt folded. I fold all of them, probably the get unfolded on driving to store. I went to this location doing a self check out at 9am when it opened. That was the easy part. They didn't have my Dollie's ready in the back of the truck. There was only one guy behind the counter when I went inside with over hour and half wait time for me to try and get my dollies. The guy behind the courtier was not the problem he was doing what he could handle and was very friendly. He was the only one there was the issue. When I finally got into my uhaul truck to leave there wasn't any room for me to get the truck off of the property. I had to back up the truck threw other trucks off of the property. All went fine ( rented online) until we tried to return to U-Haul. Paul that works there came out and instantly started treating my family terribly. His tone, attitude and demeanor was literally like something from a bad movie. You couldn't believe someone would talk and treat anyone like he did. It was horrible, embarrassing and upset me badly. We did nothing to instigate itâ€¦ he just came out spewing unprofessional comments and demands. We filed a complaint which tells you how bad it was. He doesn't know how to treat a customer or even how to treat another human being. He needs to go if your leaders have a pulse of any sort on what is going on at all. So sad.Erin D.

We experienced a water leak on the first floor - Several units had the leak. There was no sense of urgency, no moving services available. We had to initiate everything. The manager never contacted us for 4 days until we emailed corporate. She was out with covid, but no one ever told us and no one contacted us. We were told repair would happen on a certain day. My husband took off work and no contact. A very small man, Don was helpful to assist in moving a few things out at the beginning. Very frustrating there was not a plan. We had to initiate movers, etc and hoping to be paid back. I was told the other units were contacted, but as of last Saturday, we saw no one moving their things out. A real hassle and we’re hoping to get credit on the unit for an extended time. We’re long time renters there and have another unit. I had reservations for a 10x15 but when I showed up none were available. I had to cram everything in a 10x10 and it didn't all fit. I just moved 650 miles and had nowhere to put my stuff. I had hourly workers with me that stood around for 30min doing nothing while the people working at uhaul tried to find me a storage unit. It took so long to figure out how to fit everything in the smaller unit I ended up having to pay my help for 3 additional hours. There was two of them it was a total of $180 extra. That's on top of the hours it should have taken that I had already paid for. I wasn't even offered anything for the issues. All I got was I'm sorry and it's not our fault it's the system. Really?!! So I'm out $180 and have a bunch of stuff piled in a garage because it wouldn't fit. No I would not recommend because it was extremely stressful trying to move a 3 bedroom house 650 miles and then have no where to put my stuff.Ami K. | First Impressions

We've used this facility may times over the last 10+ years, this visit was atypical. It took almost an hour to finish out the pre-reserved rental. Problems included a manager who watched the line of customers building up but wasn't assisting, the staff we had being delayed in helping us, and then struggling with process. Items were asked for that were not included in the list of items to bring as part of the online reservation. Our unit was available but other folks were being told units they had reserved weren't actually available and the staff was discussing how this has been a regular problem and escalated to online stalking of staff in one case. If there was not a shortage of storage in the area and our previous good experiences we would have moved on to another facility. Also one of the staff members came barging through an exit door at a run while we were moving in, the door missed injuring both of us only because I had been standing to the side by the code entry plate. There is nothing to resolve as we are in a unit, but the feedback might be useful in the future both for customer service and safety.Aaron S. | First Impressions

4/29/21- Rude employee name was David. Literally said he didn’t work for uhaul and then went inside and was working with Jazmine on computer. He had the worst attitude and bad representation of uhaul. Next came move in time, but a random unit issue caused a delay beyond usage of the unit and although we were understanding of this issue the down side was that the employees on duty took 40 minutes just to continue telling us they are trying to figure out a solution. How about rent us another unit or call a brother/sister uhual to reserve for us inconvenience, but No! They offered no solutions until I personally called SIMPLY SELF STORAGE in SANFORD FL. Where we worked with a Miss Christina and was able To secure a clean, AC unit with better monthly price (cheaper by 60 bucks a month) and an awesome first month free deal. I have always used uhaul services and due to the lack of concern and resolve from uhaul employees today , uhaul has lost all of our business indefinitely.
