The general manager at this location is to controlling and want's you the customer to follow her rules by the book. She called to find out why I was not there to pick up the truck on time ( it was only 15 mins. past the time ) and when I informed her that I would need the truck for an extra day her reply was that I had only reserved it for a day so I informed her I know that's why I am telling you know that I will need it for an extra day. Nevertheless, I ended up keeping the truck for a third day and on that day I called to let they know I would probably be late by 15 - 30 minutes late and if I would still get charged an extra day or not they informed my that the truck is due at 11:15 AM and if I was passed that time by even by 5 mins. they would charge me the full days rental so I informed them I would take it in the following day, but they insisted I take it in at that time, but I told them no because they were charging me the full 24 hours anyway. I am a regular U-haul customer and have been for several years due to my business. When I arrived to drop off the truck I requested to get my final bill while I was there and they told me that they would email it so I refused to leave until I saw the final bill. When they were inspecting the truck they verified that I had returned the blankest back which I did and informed me since they were not in the plastic bag they were originally that they would charge me a cleaning fee if I didn't put them in a bag my self because that was the GM's policy. As they continued to inspect the truck the manager assisting the other female that was receiving the truck from me informed her that if the general manager was there she would first charge me for the cleaning fee ( note that I had all 12 blankets in a 6 bundle pile on the back of the truck as the GM originally informed me that is how she wanted them; they just were not in their original plastic bag as it got lost in the process ) as the assistant had offered to bag them her self and told me not to worry. She also informed her that the GM would also tell her to take her time when a customer request to receive their bill so no need to rush make them wait. As a local business owner I understand that rules are rules, but there are certain rules that you need to hold your customers to such as making sure that the vehicle is back on time, but if the customer is only a couple of minis. off why burden the customer with another daily charge. On this occasion I was using the truck for personal use to move into a new home and the move was overwhelming so in my opinion customers in this situation are over their head as it is from their daily routine so maybe allow them to be a couple of mins. late or charge them by the hour until the vehicle is back in and they should be forgiven for not having the blankets in the plastic bags ( unbelievable ), give me a break. If I was using the equipment for business purposes I would understand as the use was for profit so I should be

The uhaul needed a front end alignment. But over all every thing else was ok. The sales man got my mileage wrong. The mileage on the paper was different than what was actually on the dash board. And my account was charged more then once as well.

Even though the location was well marked and easy to use, the return process was slow and difficult. I needed to remove the rear retaining chain from the trailer because the attendant was not willing or qualified to disconnect the chain. The trailer was difficult to escape from the vehicle because it was old and flawed.
