The installation personnel did a quality install and I witnessed even took the time to properly tourqe the bolts. Robb H.The facility texted me the link to the pick-up information to fill out. I never got it because I have a landline. They need to ask if it is a landline or cell in the future, not all of us have a cell. So I jumped online that morning just prior to pick-up filling it out and uploaded the scanned driver's license etc. When we got there they said they couldn't access that information and we had to go through it all again. That was a bit frustrating and we ran late to meet our sons & family members to help load. Otherwise the staff was very friendly and courteous, delightful people! Denise

Tia M. | Overall ExperienceThe people I dealt with were great but it took 3 trucks before I got one without an issue and even that one had an issue once I was out on the road. The in person process seemed onerous to me but may be what it takes to rent a truck. It seemed odd to me how the fueling of the truck worked. I bought the truck back with significantly more fuel than when I took the truck but no way to be compensated for that. I feel like uhaul came out ahead on that.

Called back same day to reschedule pick-up day to 03/07/23 pick-up time 10:00 AM, got there they had us scheduled for a open trailer which we changed back to enclosed 03/08/2023 10:19.AM - 03/09/2023 5:30 PM charged us $32.52. I feel like this location either does not listen well with there customers or has a daily quota to make. Jackie Gardner

When I opened it up the next night to unload it, my beautiful chair was soaking wet. The manager of the store did not believe me and won't offer any credit or admit that the trailer leaks. I am sad for the next person who will rent this trailer if they use it during the rain. I hope something even more valuable of theirs doesn't get ruined. The manager was not nice to me and did not even apologize. There was a man the first day that helped me hook up the trailer and he was great and really nice.

My car is now missing one panel under the hitch, another panel is installed incorrectly and all panels are just zipped tied into place, not with the Toyota fasteners that were on the car. This is not the kind of job I expected from Uhaul.
Christopher J.When securing the Ubox rental I asked about locks and was told they weren't sure about if locks were needed. When the Ubox was dropped off the person dropping off the box could barely get it into my driveway. When it was picked up no one mentioned that locks are required on it. I received a call a few days after it was picked up stating that I needed locks on it. I told the person I was out of state already and they offered to put locks on it but refused to mail me the keys and told me I would have to purchase bolt cutters to remove the locks. Had some just told me locks were needed this would've all been avoided. The staff dropping off the Ubox in Boise were great. She was super helpful and kind.

Mark C.The staff and equipment were great, but the process of picking up the truck was a nightmare. The staff felt helpless because I was to check in online and they could not help move the process along. It is ridiculous to have to use a multiple step verification to include calling my contacts when there are employees on site who can verify ones identity. The process took over 30 minutes!!! When there was no one else at the store!!! I have rented cars all over the country and I have never, ever experienced such a wait time because the company has to call and inconvenience two of my family/friends. Additionally, it was stupid to have me go on a scavenger hunt by giving one step at a time…find the truck, go to kiosk and get keys, go back to the truck, etc etc. it is the most inefficient, ridiculous, rental process I have ever experienced.
yuri G.I picked up the trailer days earlier than the actual reservation and it was a peasant, seemless, no issues process all the way through. Friendly, fun staff made it enjoyable. I will recommend UHaul to anyone who needs to transport anything. Thank you for making it easy!

Rafael T.Bring back the counter check in with an agent! I purposely setup the pick up time for when the store opened, so that I would not have to do the self check-in again. However, upon arrival, I was instructed to do just that. It took 30+ minutes and we had to adjust our entire day due to this. It's very cumbersome. Seems like the agent at the counter can do it much quicker and verify everything that is needed on the spot. Not CUSTOMER friendly at all. Also, I reserved the truck, however, my spouse was the driver, and it was super confusing. The check in process should state "contract" person's name or account holder name then ask about driver info. Also, the vehicle was on empty, which delayed us even more.

MAURICE H. | First ImpressionsI thought overall for the cost it was very expensive The only reason I went with it was because of the location of it then when I rented my unit, it was at the front of the store, which made it easy for me to pick up my things, but during the time that I was in the facility, it switched, the location of the front of the store and made it very hard for me to get to my storage unit on top of the fact that I was never notified of a new system that was being in place, which made it more frustrating to get in and out of my unit .
ashley b. | Overall ExperienceI had arrived 5 minutes before 7 one night as I could not find a ride earlier, the staff member would not allow me 5 minutes to load my items and I ended up having to get a storage unit at another facility because I was leaving town for the summer. Upon returning to my unit 6 weeks later I found that I had been moved out of my unit, even though I was paid up. I also found that there was a card required to enter the facility which I had not been notified of. The manager of the facility gave me a free month for the misunderstanding and also gave me a card to enter the facility. Which was appreciated. The card was still under someone else’s name when it was given to me and eventually no longer worked so I needed to get it reset under my name. Additionally, when I was moved out of the unit, the unit was removed from my uhaul account so I was unable to make automatic payments or make any payments for that unit online. Overall, none of these events were big deals but all of them together did make the experience a 5 star.

I have asked to speak to the manager several times and left my number with no return call. I walked in and cleared out my storage and checked out in person. The next month I was charged a fee again. I called no returned call from the manager. I did receive a letter from Judy the manager with a late fee and charges for the entire month of July even though I formally check out on July 12th. I would not recommend this facility to anyone because of the poor management. I do want to note that the staff was very kind and helpful. Reuben ultimately was a great help!

IRA D. | First ImpressionsI made my reservation for my storage unit and truck online. That was very user-friendly and very convenient. However, a few days after I made my reservation for a specific location, I received a text message and an email saying that my reservation was confirmed for a different city a pretty far distance from my local city. So I had to call and get this fixed. Then, when I showed up at the facility the morning of my move, it took almost an hour for the entire process to check in because of so many errors or lack of knowledge by the office staff (there is one female named Tia and two males at the front desk and only Tia know what she was doing). And I was not the only person that had problems with their reservation that morning. Then I went over to check out my unit and there was a lock on it. I called the office and asked them to come remove the lock but nobody came, so I left in hopes that it would be gone by the time I returned with all my items. 4 hours later the lock was still on my unit. Then when the guy finally came over to remove the lock and he opened it, the unit was significantly smaller than what I had reserved, I reserved and 8x10 and this unit was maybe a 5x10 if that. But they were adamant but it was the correct size. So then I had to return to the office yet again and request a larger unit. Now I'm looking forward to paying the huge increase in the cost for two feet! In all, I've used U-Haul numerous times in my life and I've never run into as many problems as I did this time around. Your company has been around a very long time and unprofessionalism and disorganization of this experience really put a bad taste in my mouth. It's a total bummer!

The closing hour would have been better at 8 or 9 if other business would support it. (I think it is unreasonable to charge me for an entire month storage when I used ten days. Every other "rental" I have ever had would pro-rate the rental amount.)
