THOMAS RHitch installation was good but would not recommend uhaul for wiring this vehicle. Very difficult access. Perhaps dealer is best place for this vehicle.

Though the 15'r ran OK/no critical issues, it is getting tired at 130,000. The steering is vague, brakes fading a bit and the transmission shifting late and once slipped.

GEORGE MU-haul was advertising 19.99 for a van rental and you charged that price twice. I think it is terrible that you charged me extra because i didn’t guess how many miles i was going to drive. In general the pricing is a ripoff.

MICHAEL HThe man I dealt with at the front desk was top tier. He was very nice, and the process was quick. I scheduled to have my van starting at 7:00 am that day, and was out of the office by 7:03 am. One thing I was not too happy about was that it took me about 20-30 min to clear off my rental van due to the snow and ice on it. Is it typical that none of the units are cleaned off and ready to go in snow/ice? It ate into my rental timeframe (non issue because I was still back to drop off the van before my 11AM return time). Also, the lot was not plowed and after clearing off my van, it took me about another 10 min to get it unstuck from the snow. I would think that the lot should be cleared and ready to go for all conditions!

DENNIS V1. The dashboard was pretty dirty and the glass was cracked. Cleaning would help the rating 2. The model itself looked older than the others on the lot. Getting a newer model especially when there are so many on the lot to chose from, would have been viewed as a better experience. Overall, the staff was friendly and the check-in and check out was pretty fast. I would have given an "excellent" rating if the other two items noted above were covered.

JESUS DI was charged an additional $14 for fuel but when I picked up the U-Haul it was on E and was told I would get a credit. I brought it back with more fuel than when I left. I inquired about the charge and was acknowledged that it should have been a credit instead of a charge. Was told the manager would call me and refund the $14. No call and no refund. Highly disappointed

Ronald RI rented a car carrier where the right side strap (that holds the front wheel to the trailer) was previously severed and too short to reach the ratchet mechanism, and therefore unsafe to use. I drove over 100 miles with the trailer and only discovered this upon attempting to load a vehicle. The trip cost me over $125 in gas and over $50 in tolls. This equipment should have been inspected and never rented.

I was luckily able to locate a different place to store my items, however this proved to add unnecessary costly miles to my rental and wasted my, and my movers, time. I can’t carry large heavy items up those stairs alone. They offered me a bigger one on the bottom but it would’ve been double the cost. Also the part that really bothered me was the employee walking me to the unit in the 800 had me squeeze through the ladder to get by. What if I was much heavier???!! Isn’t that a fire hazard not putting those things away when not in use?! I ended up asking for my lock refund and insurance refund and leaving

I said no to the "Access Hours" convenience only because I am a night owl and being able to access in the middle of the night could be useful as I found myself wanting to put more items in around 1am after coming back from a trip to move my son into a dorm at his college in New Hampshire. But for most individuals this may not be an issue.

Once it hit and we started to get behind, the customer service line would direct me to call the facility to set up payment arrangements. But each time I contacted the facility, I was told payment arrangements were not possible, even during a time when everyone was losing money and unable to fend for themselves. This facility took no regard for the struggles of its patrons and profited off of that instead.

maureen g | First ImpressionsMoving in was a nightmare. The staff informed my older children that they we “high as f***” when they were assisting them because of a lock that had broke. I needed the large unit, and this was the last one. I was told because of the lock they were going to need to move me to a smaller unit. After I called them up they figured out how to get the lock off and I was able to keep the unit. Not after they had charged me for the smaller unit. Now I have two charged on my account for 2 units. I am being told that it will fall off. I wait the three days and it cleared. I have to go in once again to clear this up. Here comes the next month and I am supposedly set up on auto pay. This is in fact not the case. Because when they were playing hop scotch with my unit they also cancelled this. I go in and I am assured it is now set up again and the 45 dollars on charges they said they will waive. Well here comes the next month and guess what is not set up. Oh yes my auto pay. I just moved all of my things out of the storage because I am being inconvenienced in having to go there every time there needs to be a bill paid or I need to resolve the issue of incompetent staff.
