Store was 15 minutes late opening and understaffed for line of people. Was picking up a utility trailer and on a time schedule. Had to wait over an hour from the time I got to the counter (ultimately eating up 1/1/2 hours of my 12 hour rental) while the employee processed other customers with relatively quick transactions in an effort to shorten the line. Returned trailer after hours. Told I needed to drop it in the lot and take a picture and upload it on line to U-Haul.. NOT TOLD I had to upload it while I was in the lot with the GPS locator turned on my phone so when I got home and tried to upload the phot I couldn't because I wasn't at the lot with GPS turned on. Dropped trailer in the very space it was when I picked it up but was nonetheless called the next afternoon and asked to return the trailer because they couldn't find it. After checking again they located it. Completely frustrating experience. This was my first U-Haul rental in many years and will be my last for many more.

Only problem I faced was a prior customer had smoked in the van. Please do not allow customers to smoke in the trucks/vans.

took over 30 minutes to pick it up. Nobody seems to know what they were doing. Took my out and pointed to the trucks and said 'one of those is yours - match the key number. Also originally was round trip. Called to switch to one- way. Told no problem. When I picked up refused one-say 'We don't have any one way'. The people worked at the Hamburg Ave branch were aweful. Nobody had skills; unable to use computer without help.... I will not return to that location for a rental.

first van had low pressure tire. Second was given with 1/4 gas tank but the contract said 1/2+ tank. Had to be fixed each time -- wasted whole hour in the morning on this. Upon return with 1/2+ tank the clerk refused to issue refund ($20 based on $3.04 per gallon price). I request $20 credit on this contract: 22889640 date 6/16/2018 Tomasz Strzalkowski

Fire the staff that is working on today's date. 6/3/2018 We were overcharged! The employee was nasty, bad attitude and we didn't even get to tell him our problem. He said what your issue. I explained I am trying to tell you. he interrupted again,. Said" anytime a customer comes in with a receipt there is a problem. Then he refused to even wait on us. The young man that originally waited on was there, he said He's inside I'm out. I can't help you. When he knew what the problem was all ready. We were charged for 2 days when we only had the truck for 2 hours. Plus we were quoted 79. a mile got charged 99. We need to resolve this matter fast. Your customer service in this location is horrible. We stayed away from this place for about 2 years because of previous help. Saw new employees thought it would be better. I GUESS NOT

I had the worst experience ever with U-Haul I was told by U haul employee Requan Donovan once I’m finished with the uhaul I can drop it off at the nearest location which I did an I was charged an extra day and a drop off fee. U haul customers service/ and cohoes u haul employee Michael Cruz told me I’m not getting any money back but they employee Donovan told me I can drop off in any location. To improve for the next customer is to be refunded for a mistake /misguided on what the employees tell us.

Computer system keep crashing apparently, employee seemed like he needed more training on the system especially since I had pre checked in. I wound up payin 20 more then I was quoted. Because of either the system or poor employee training. When I finally finished the check in process 1 person came in approximately 20 min after I did and left about 5-10 min before me because they didn’t have any issues getting checked in. I got the U-Haul folder but I never got the green slip that has damaged that they normally stick to the folder but I did get the receipt. Once in the lot I had to wait for the other employee to finish checking equipment back in. Once done it took him a few minutes to find my trailer and then he has to move other equipment out of the way before he could hook me up
