I would like to see EZPass made available for long or out of state trips. Car rental companies do it so it must be available. Also windshield wipers should be checked more often for replacement. While mine were good they could have been better.Michael F.

I came to this location three times - once to have my hitch inspected, once to pick up the trailer, and then to return it. The first ti?e, the initial greeting by the clerk was surly, like I was interrupting him, even though he was doing nothing at the time. Second visit was all positive. The woman behind the counter made me feel like she was happy to see me. Return visit started out a little dismissive but ended well. Equipment was all fine. You just need some additional training on your welcoming experience.Gregory D.

Everything was great. Maybe just a reminder when you are giving the customer the keys to check the app or for a text to confirm the mileage and condition of the van before leaving the facility. Overall, has NOTHING to do with the location in Smithtown: if you confirm a reservation with a â€œguaranteedâ€ availability, make sure the availability is guaranteed. I spent overall more than two hours on Saturday to finally get the equipment which was first guaranteed to be picked up in Weymouth, MA. The guy there was extremely unfriendly and overwhelmed. Not alot of room here ... UHAUL made a VERY difficult situation into a very smooth transitiin to our new home. One thing... Google maps has incorrect instructions as to how to drop off trucks to Nesconset location coming west bound smithtown left on somerset then turning right into a Taco Bell...Richard D.

The truck had a smoker prior to me and the ashtray was not cleaned out. Also the app directed me to a lockbox on the vehicle but the location had the lockbox in a different location so I couldn't use contactless checkout.Andrew M.

Picked trailer up and was told it was due back by end of day Saturday. I get a nasty phone call from a female working at the location demanding the trailer back asap. I told her what I was told when picking up and she was nasty and asked me "what am I suppose to tell my customer". I hurried up and emptied the trailer, having not even been able to use it and returned it. I do not make a habit of writing letters of praise but I must commend the people we met at the Nesconset U Haul on Long Island. You walk in and George and Jenny are welcoming. They explained our options, they didn't have an attitude as we debated. They had the credit card machine placed far from them because of the Covid. They wished us a safe trip. The van was clean, and on as we left the shop. They were lovely people. Please let them know I took the time to write this. Trailer wire got pinched on Bowl and shorted out my Electric System on my truck. And then on top of that because I couldn't make it back to New York you add insult to injury by charged me $3,000JOSEPH C.

Out of an extremely difficult move where everything went wrong the only thing which went right was U-Haul. I was at the door at 7:04am ready to pick up the truck. The door was not open and though I had seen someone inside the store my knocking went ignored. I stood there waiting until the person came over opened the door laughing that she opened it but it had no power. Mistakes happen but when someone is knocking, ignoring them is poor service. Later that night I dropped the truck back off at the same location and tried to use the website from my phone to check the truck back in. The website would not allow me to upload the a picture of the Fuel and Mileage. After 10 minutes or so of trying I tried to call customer service. I was waited over 5 minutes for an agent with no luck. I had someone waiting to give me a ride back to my car so I dropped the keys off. After getting back to my car I tried customer service again and waited again over 5 minutes before someone picked up. I explained to them what had happened and even offered to email the pictures of the fuel and mileage to them and that I do not want to be charged a fee when I it was the site that would not allow me to check in the vehicle. I was told it was up to the locations manager. The following day I was charged an extra fee anyhow.CARL S.

I went to pick up my U-Haul and was greeted by Alexis. She was by far the highlight of my experience. Super helpful and sweet. I had originally booked the 5 x 5 x 11 storage space because that was what someone in customer service recommended several times over the phone after I told them I have a one bedroom. After realizing how small it was for my things. Alexis immediately upgraded the storage space. Besides that hiccup everything was smooth sailing :)Harry G.

The manager was great it was very cold outside she directed me to your airstation to inflate my tires and stayed out side even though it was freezing . My only complaint is that you made me drive more than the 15 miles that was said to me at Hicksville location .
