These are suppose to be climate controlled, but it is way too hot in there. I am storing pictures in bins for the meantime until winter when I can start to go through them and I’m afraid those pictures are gonna stick together because it’s too hot. they need to update the air conditioning in there.

Im not happy that the 6’ x 12’ trailer I rented to go pick up a lawn tractor did not have a 6’ width which is what I needed as the tractor was about 60” wide. I had to take apart the tractor to get it onto the trailer. That was a surprise. I made the mistake of assuming that a 6’ x 12’ meant something else. But in my defense, I was clear when I made the reservation (I did that in person) about the size of my tractor and was told the 6’ x 12’ would be fine. So that was not good. Everything else with the staff was good.

Location was great. Self service process needs to improve. I've booked a lot of Uhauls within a short time period and the review still decided to send me through the contact validation process. I was in a rush and no one was immediately availability so it took longer to get on the road.

Truck was not available on scheduled date. Was promised a call by 7:00pm to verify truck would be available the next day and never received a call. Could not reach location for 4 hours to verify truck was available on rescheduled day. Needed to call scheduling many times to verify. Personnel attempted to charge me a higher mileage fee for the rescheduled date (Friday). Personnel attempted to charge me for two days on a 24-hour rental. Just about everything that could have been done wrong, was done wrong. Terrible customer service.

The sign in keypad process was confusing… I needed to “check in” on the keypad to the right before the keypad to my entrance. It wasn’t clearly enough marked and it wasn’t obvious in the app that there was a check in process. I had to look for instructions in the app. I had to ask someone for help which cost time. Even a larger “CHECK IN HERE” sign would have been helpful

The unit was in the basement of the facility! We were not told by the on -line agent we originally booked it through that we would have to carry heavy boxes down flights of stairs to the basement! The two employees at this facilty saved the day and booked us at another UHAUL facility close by on Bellemeade RD in Smithtown NY.

Overall the unit themselves are fine. It’s not the facility itself it’s the people that work there. I had a reservation for a unit over a month out before I was to move in, the facility overbooked and didn’t have the correct unit available for me, causing me to have to move into a bigger unit which was more expensive. The workers are rude, don’t care to actually help you out. They just pad some problem off to the next person. The hours are ridiculous. And won’t give you an extra back up access card. It’s all just a very inconvenience of a place and I can’t wait to leave.

I never rented from this facility. They continued to send me threatening emails for 6 months stating each month "my belongings" were going up for auction. They scammed my information into a rental and then racked up a $2500 amount due. I look foward to the trial because I've retained an attorney for uhauls continued harassment.

They messed up my reservation when I arrived And now im in a bigger unit paying a higher price than what I had reserved. You raised your price for this little cubicle by 50% from 29.95/month to 44.95 per month in 7 years. This is way above the rate of inflation. For this reason I emptied my unit and canceled our relationship. By the way, "You are allowed to comment one time for each move-out.", seriously? You are not doing me a favor allowing me to comment. You should see this as valuable feedback, not a favor you grant your ex-customers.

Staff at this location was very friendly and helped me to move into the storage unit. I sincerely appreciate and would recommend this Uhaul Storage facility to anyone. Very clean and all needed move in equipment were provided free of cost. New locks with key were provided free of cost for the storage unit. Very professional !!!
