The workers are absolutely insane and rude. They call you a million times. Threaten the police against you on the first phone call meanwhile they have all your information and your card on file. I will never use them ever again.

My drop off location was ion route 27 in Davenport, Florida. I dropped it off around 9 PM. The location was closed, but it was well lit and there were plenty of parking places to drop off the trailer and take pictures.

Drove out and find trailer shaking violently it should never have been rented , I called and had to wait for roadside so I could not load it right away !! This trailer was unsafe in its rented condition , luckily I’m inclined enough to know something was very wrong the right side tire was flat spotted bad and had to be replaced ,,

We ultimately rented it from the Smithtown location. Smithtown was great. Originally our reservation was for the Centerreach location but we were essentially denied service. We felt discriminated against by the man at Centerreach. I intend to make time to write a public review of the Centerreach location.

One thing it could use is a hitch jack so when you unhook you don’t have to put it on the ground. Then it is very hard to lift to rehook.

First off, the people who took care of me at this location were polite and professional The Van was perfect for what I needed
It was clean and ran well.
The only negative is it had a smell of fish I guess from a previous renter I kept the windows open as much as possible

Negotiating your website however was difficult 9 pages of upselling to try and click through..

On returning the vehicle 24 hours early, we dropped the vehicle with three intake specialist period 24 hours later we received an irate and accusational phone call from someone at the site stating that they do not have the trailer and that we were passed to returning it. I advise if that were the case he needed to call the police for a missing or stolen item. Later I called the 800 number to explain the situation and asked to be connected directly to the site. The rep that handled the call was able to speak with Ken at the location for which they had identified the trailer that we had returned. At no point has anyone from the location called to apologize for their accusations or unprofessional behavior. In addition we do not have the credit for returning the trailer 24 hours earlier.

The sign in keypad process was confusing… I needed to “check in” on the keypad to the right before the keypad to my entrance. It wasn’t clearly enough marked and it wasn’t obvious in the app that there was a check in process. I had to look for instructions in the app. I had to ask someone for help which cost time. Even a larger “CHECK IN HERE” sign would have been helpful

Placed reservation at Coram for 10' truck and car trailer. Arrived and they did not have the equipment. They sent me to Smithtown. Picked up truck and trailer. Packed truck, ready to get on road and found out trailer lights did not work so I was unable to move and pushed me back a
day. Went to drop off truck and app tried to charge me an additional $150. So I had to go back again in the morning to pay. What a mess. Staff was nice at Smithtown.

The unit was in the basement of the facility! We were not told by the on -line agent we originally booked it through that we would have to carry heavy boxes down flights of stairs to the basement! The two employees at this facilty saved the day and booked us at another UHAUL facility close by on Bellemeade RD in Smithtown NY.

Overall the unit themselves are fine. It’s not the facility itself it’s the people that work there. I had a reservation for a unit over a month out before I was to move in, the facility overbooked and didn’t have the correct unit available for me, causing me to have to move into a bigger unit which was more expensive. The workers are rude, don’t care to actually help you out. They just pad some problem off to the next person. The hours are ridiculous. And won’t give you an extra back up access card. It’s all just a very inconvenience of a place and I can’t wait to leave.

I never rented from this facility. They continued to send me threatening emails for 6 months stating each month "my belongings" were going up for auction.
They scammed my information into a rental and then racked up a $2500 amount due. I look foward to the trial because I've retained an attorney for uhauls continued harassment.

You raised your price for this little cubicle by 50% from 29.95/month to 44.95 per month in 7 years. This is way above the rate of inflation. For this reason I emptied my unit and canceled our relationship.
By the way, "You are allowed to comment one time for each move-out.", seriously? You are not doing me a favor allowing me to comment. You should see this as valuable feedback, not a favor you grant your ex-customers.

Staff at this location was very friendly and helped me to move into the storage unit. I sincerely appreciate and would recommend this Uhaul Storage facility to anyone.
