Is a customer is disabled and the employee sees them struggling to stand up while they're not open it'll be better for the employee to let him sit on a chair while they wait for them to open even though it's supposed to be open at a certain time . And when I came back with truck no one was there to help . I couldn't come back and it looked like the place was closed the day I just wanted to return the key for the storage and pay the left owe for the truck with money for the storage I'm closing. But no one was there

This location was very clean and inviting. The one employee was very professional and seemed to handle the rush crowd for a Friday quite well. The rental process went very smooth and easy and I was out of there and on the road in just minutes.

How can you charge extra for after hours bring back when that's the only option available since your closed on Sunday. Most rental places give you till Monday to bring back, but you didn't.... I paid like 120 for a $39 a day rentL that I used for about 8 hours.

Know exactly what trucks you have available. They had to charge me for another that was more expensive . And the truck I rented had a problem with the gas meter. I overfilled the truck do to this problem. I wasted money that I cammoy get reimbursed. Definetly wont go back.

The price for a storage rooms is high and plus i should be able to get refund for the time i closed my storage early and one of the staff was rude he gave me attitude and I didn’t think that was professional of him.

The one and major problem I had with this location is that I was told that I could self check out after hours, via mobile phone, or choose to have a Uhaul rep do it for you in the morning for a $20 fee. I chose to check out via phone. The Rep this facility didn't mention that I had to be at the location when doing so. I called customer service to inform them, and was told that it was noted. When checking the receipt the next morning, I noticed the $20 charged was added. It made me look at this company in a different light. A cheap way to earn a $1

The owner clearly does not care about customers. I waited in line for 45 mins while there was only one employee working. The owner was just walking around before finally helping out customers and he is not at all friendly, did not even bother to apologize for the long wait. Acted like we were a bother to him. I was shocked to find out he was the owner. Clearly he is just in it for the money and lacks customer service skill. It is appalling that a company like UHaul would allow their franchise owners to treat customers in such a poor manner. The company should also promote the online check out more and also make it more user friendly. The owner rudely said if I did not want to wait next time, I should just do everything on my phone, which I did not know was as option. I knew there were drop off locations closer to my house but he said I "had" to go to the location listed. He would not even look into other locations.

I checked in 2 days early to make sure ever would go smoothly. They said they would have it ready. Came back to pick it up at 9am on schedule and it's not here!! They are now sending me elsewhere. Worst u haul location ever!!

Pick up/drop off was a breeze. No complaints. Joe could smile a little more, to ease other reviewers, but other than that I went and picked up and truck, returned it. Kinda simple.

They didn't explain to me about a charge if I drop off after they closed .i don't think it's right for theme to charge me this $20 extra I tried taking the truck back on the same day cause I was not gonna have time to get it for theme on time the next day and I'm pretty sure some one had reserved .

No wiper blade on passenger side. Didn't realize it until it rained and we couldn't clear the window to see! Scary and dangerous! Had to stop and buy one and replace it in the rain after drivin for 25 minutes. Not happy about that, but I'm sure the company won't do anything to compensate us.

I don't get the negative reviews on this place. Staff was very friendly. The trailer 5x9 flatbed I rented was awesome, and I've pulled a lot of trailers.

I was surprised that they had my driver's license and military ID and still felt they need to call someone to verify my identity. Also, I fill out mostly information online to expedite the process but still had to answer question about them for us.

Horrible customer service. Look at their google reviews, I've never see a business with so many reviews calling out the manager by name. They are a stain on the U-Haul brand. They are now lying about the gas charges, claiming it was 1/3 full when it was entirely full, and adding more and more every few hours.

Provide truck with working ac to deal with Texas heat. Ensure that trailers were in serviceable condition before assigning them so customer did not have to waste time returning to get that issue fixed when it should have never been an issue if you practiced due diligence and inspected products properly.

Very very rude people, I was charged for 2 days because I was told they were open till 7 but wasn't told I had to bring equipment back by 9 am , I tried to explain bit they kept pointing to my contract saying read your contract !!!! my father in law was going to pay for the extra day buy they had already charged my card without my knowledge. Very unsatisfied.

Return truck process via online was a pain ***. I spent approximately 20-30 mins entering info required and odometer reading without success!! Turns out I needed to add a ZERO in the end!!! Twenty dollar Return truck process fee “if” I didn't complete online is a rip off to customers. What ever happened to “good old Customer Service!” Drivers door took a lot of force to CLOSE completely. Ignition was difficult to start at every attempt starting with foot on brake. Lastly, upon receiving paperwork from register staff and before leaving premises, my odometer on truck did NOT match odometer reading on paper by 9 miles Over. Staff made the corrections but never apologized for the unintentional error. I need one FINAL move next summer, and I'm poundering on the thought if I will use U-HUAL again.

Even with the COVID19 experience the personnel was Awesome 👍 Specifically the yard person who went above and beyond to allow me to wait for the late to arrive movers I had hired. Thank you all.

I was treated like a criminal at this location. They made me provide personal references and they called them in front of me. I have NEVER had this happen in all of my years using UHAUL. I asked for 8 hours on my quote and was made to return the trailer after 6 hours. The gentleman also made sure told he me that it was an in-town trip and "make sure you return it to MY location". As if I would run off with the trailer. I know it's not just me though. That man was rude to a caller while I was standing there and lost a sale with his rudeness. It was AWFUL. By the way, I signed up for contactless pickup and I definitely did not get that service.

First of all, I understand because of the pandemic we are facing today things will take longer. But waiting in line for an hour with only 4 people in front of me is unacceptable. With a yard this big and only 1 person in the office and 1 in the yard on a Saturday morning is just wrong. The 2 employees were doing a fantastic job but heavily overwhelmed. Two more employees would have made the experience much more favorable for everyone.

The truck over heated and the ac turned off as a result. The truck had a new key and was difficult to start. It took me 15 minutes each time to start the truck in 100 degree weather. The truck should have been checked and not issued without being warned if the problems.

The first truck I was given had issues so they had to switch it out. The online check-in process wasn't working, waited over an hour to be approved. Had to wait in a long line even though attend knew the issues I was having. Joseph was very rude and talked down to myself and others. Was needing a storage unit, but will loom somewhere else due to this experience.

Every time I have gone there’s only one person in the office to help. It takes 10-15 mins to help each customer. There’s always a line and a long wait. You need more employees.

Awful experience from general manager (Joseph) at SW Military location in San Antonio Texas to corporate office (Marissa). I would never recommend U - Haul to anyone. I did not move out on 4/30/2018 .
