The online after hours return process took over 30 minutes, the U-Haul login and return website would not accept my account and kept timing out in seconds. Needs significant improvement.James A.
The number of employees on a shift perhaps. Retraining your employees. I had self checkout and i paid for my uhual @3:06 pm I didn't get my key until about 340. The employee at counter had a line and didn't even let the customers know â€œhey sorry about the wait â€œ or â€œ I'll be right with youâ€ and my dolly wasn't put in my rental making moving so frustrating for me today. Seemed staff was a little busy and couldn't personalize my experiences promting a call to uhaul to get my issue resolved. Staff was pleasant and took care of the trailer rental but couldn't help with questions I had in regards to the truck I rented or add my wife to the insurance. There was only one guy working there and it took me almost 2 hours to get the truck, not counting the time I waste because my reservation change multiple times because there was no trucks after I reserved a week in advance, had to pay extra hours for the helpers to wait because I didn't have the truck. This is a VERY BUSY LOCATION. Tried to call store first, on different days and different times, never able to speak to anyone to confirm product availability. Went to the store in person and waited over 20 minutes to make my reservation. Rental product was confirmed available and very reasonably priced. I would not uhaul to anyone it was a series of blunders starting with schertz, sw military, rigsby and 3-6 customer reps. The last being Jessica who was neither caring or polite with interrupting me many times. She gave $50 off which is not any where near the cost of bad service to me. I will not recommend uhaul to anyone nor use it ever again. I should be given 50% off to cover the costly hardships I endured during this move. They would not even secure my vehicle on the carrier! What a tragedy that would have been if some in Paige, tx hadn't notice and then secured the vehicle for me. I will be calling BBB and others to hold you accountable since this is how you treat your customers.VALERIE M.

My concern was not with pick up or drop off locations, A tire on your equipment blew outside of Dallas. It created significant damage to the tow dolly and my vehicle. Roadside service was dispatched and fixed what he could. I asked at that time if I should swap out equipment. Was told no. Drove further and more damage was caused or we became aware of more damage to the dolly and my vehicle. Roadside services from the standpoint of courtesy and empathy were on point sadly that's where it ends. Roadside service was operationally ineffective offering very little in terms of problem solving and en route responsiveness. I arrived at my destination. Turned in the equipment. Showed pictures and timeline of the damages. Was told it would be covered ( I did pay for the added insurance.) Was told I would be contacted by UHaul to begin the claims process. NO One has reached out to me save for this satisfaction survey. Please refer to File #'s 2449450 and 2449795. My phone number is 210-749-0100. I want action taken on this please!Daniel B.
They overcharged me for no reason, I even got charged twice the safe trip fee. They offer it for $14.00, when I returned the truck, my receipt showed $28.00. When I did the reservation my total amount was $58, I ended up paying $140. I honestly do not recommend this location, please be aware of the extra fees.Edgar L.
The manger there was excellent and the majority of his team except the Caucasian kid with curly hair that put my vehicle on the tow hitch. He left the metal plates down and didn't tell he to leave the vehicle in neutral. As a result I couldn't drive my vehicle my tires were warped and I had to buy new tires. Patch up old truck was scared to drive with brake sounds when applied wasn't sure if truck was going to stop, reverse light out, store rep Jacob was rude and not helpful at all. I told him that he sent me pictures of the wrong truck to drive, I went back inside to tell him and he said just dispute it (frustrating) I also let him know there were damages all around the truck he said take pictures. I took pictures and videos is the truck they gave me and when I asked for another one he said that's the only one for local and the brand new ones were for long distance 😮. I was shocked with Uhaul customer service and trucks. The steering wheel has wires exposed, looked as if it was broken into and had electrical tape hanging loose, the tilt was broke off and I couldn't tilt it and couldn't see while I was driving. This was an insane experience with U haul.I was not satisfied with what I paid for. I hope no other customer goes through thisMartha V.

The person that helped on Friday July 1st when I returned the equipment was rude and unhelpful. I basically unhooked everything myself and waited on him to unhook the trailer from the hitch. He unhooked the trailer after waiting several minutes and didn't speak to me nor try to communicate he was done. I was more than upset to say the least. The conversation before hand about returning the equipment to HIS location was not acceptable because I live in 26 mins away. There was no drop off location specified I took it to the one most convenient for me. I feel at that point he became rude about it.lacy B.
