I had reserved a 26' truck and when I called to check on our reservation the day before, it was no longer available. I was given a. 20' truck which meant we had to make 2 trips, which would not have happened if the 26' truck was used.jacob R.

Lights didn't work. Had to leave my vehicle running. The flashed when vehicle was off. Half didn't work when vehicle was on. Was told to leave my truck running so battery didn't die. Waited till late at night for roadside to come. Guy unplugged Lights. Told me to plug back in, in the morning. Same deal leave truck running. Half the lights didn't work. Flashed when off. Roadside said I would be reimbursed for gas. CS stated when I called for early turn in due to the stress and risk of accident of Lights not working or getting a ticket I'm turning it in. They said they don't do that I need call roadside back. Which I will. Drop off location that was closed at drop off just charged my account $10.00 for wrong location drop off? Yall better fix this. I have my drop off address location paperwork and pictures of location I dropped off with address, trailer and dolly inside. Plus yall owe me gas money for telling me to leave my truck running for 2 days so the battery wouldn't die. Someone from management better call me. I have rented several trailers recently. This was this most awful experience I ever had. And just so yall know. The time I picked up the uhaul in Belton, your branch told me to load heavy to the back of the trailer. When roadside came out to unplug the lights for this one I asked him about that from my prior rental and he showed me a video and said NEVER EVER LOAD HEAVY TO THE BACK. My hitch is 2 inches lower than Average. He stated I should report that. After watching the video he showed me. I was shocked. I loaded properly based on my knowledge and past experience moving, yall need to address that at this branch. That is so dangerous. I think it is very important for the workers to make sure the vehicles work. I rented one on 07/24/2022 and once I got to the location to load up. The vehicle didn't turn on and I lost a lot of time trying to get the truck to start. Once I got it to start the a/c wasn't working.Sergio A.

It's not really a fault with the location - but maybe with the app/program â€” since we can reserve equipment online, it'd be nice to know when certain equipment isn't actually available. But this location was extremely nice and I would rent from them again.Ashley B.
The overall experience was a nightmare. I made my reservation over the phone. When I went to pick it up, I was informed I could drop it off at a closer location. The reservation ended up showing only one day of reservation instead of the 9 I needed it for. When someone called me from the drop off, I explained and he said, no problem, we'll take care of it. When I did the night drop off and called the next morning, the person I spoke with was clueless. She explained that I was supposed to have it back the day after. After a tense discussion of how this was messed up, the communication I had, and the expectation, she said she'd check it in and if she needed to call me she would. Finally got the bill and it was for more than what I was told it would be when I originally booked it with corporate on the phone. Frustrating...SCOTTIE LEE H.

This facility was great. The other storage location on IH35 was lousy and old. Rain would cause flooding and the gravel became eroded twice. Two employees were not very nice to work with.james p. | Overall Experience

The ladies at the location were very accommodating and helped make a horrible experience better. They worked super fast to clean the truck and tried to get me on my way as fast as possible. As for U-Haul , my reservation time got moved because of people extending, U-Haul needs to find a way to correct that. Equipment I asked for wasn't available, I had to go way out of my way for pick and return, prices that were set by U-Haul on the phone weren't conveyed to the location. I lost 2 hours of time and it cost me extra money for hired help. This was the worst experience with U-Haul.Kenneth N.

Friday I came in to rent a trailer and my ball switch was the wrong size.The Hispanic male hurry up and said he didn't have tool to take off.long story short I returned on Sunday with trailer.the guy In front of me same issue but with the black lady .she offered that gentleman a new hitch inside your store and had the worker there that day switch it out for him ,she said clearly we got the tools in back.I actually asked the customer if I could look at his hitch on his truck it was same as mine.i understand it's hot but it was real inconvenient for me to run to another store for the same item u have in store with tool.i rented from this location a few times they are good people .maybe next time the Hispanic guy can offer me a item out of store.Bryan C.

They had a rush of people at 9:00 am and only one person working the counter. However, she was efficient and I had everything I needed and was on my way in less than an hour. They also fixed a couple of issues before I left.Steven S.
Wanda was amazing and helpful. We were customers for many years and took comfort in knowing that our family memories were safe. However, in 2018 UHaul, as an organization changed, and I no longer felt safe about our belongings. I have not been allowed to speak with Wanda since then. Yesterday was a bad experience because we both felt our business for 15 years meant nothing. We know that even though we paid for the month of June, there is no refund even if you rented to someone else today. Perhaps I am overly sensitive because of my son, who is deceased, has all of his worldly possessions in there. We lived in Alaska and would try to move our things for many years. However, it was too painful for me, so we waited another year. I will not ever use UHaul storage, even in Alaska, because the company cares about $ and expansion more than customers. I will find mom and pick organizations from now on. I am certain you will continue to amass fortunes .. so be it. The younger folks do not know the difference. Great customer service and the truck was really easy to drive for my move. Thank you so much! I did have one criticism and that was just for the UHaul after hours procedure, through UHaul's website. It was a bit difficult to navigate it while on my iPhone and I had to use my daughter-in-law's Android phone to complete the turn-in process. Hopefully, it will be more user friendly, in the future. I made my reservation on-line at uhaul.com . When I arrived to pick up the trailer, my "reservation " wasn't in their system. The young man working had a trailer for me to use. HE made the experience worth going back... otherwise, I would use a different company because I'm fed up with UHAUL not doing their Jon's correctly with the reservations!!Anna D.

I sadly wasn't able to return the equipment to the location through the website, as the location was already closed when I was suppose to return it. During the returning process online it wouldn't let me return the trailer as â€žcleanâ€œ so I was only able to upload as â€žnot cleanâ€œ even tho I cleaned the trailer out. I ended up getting charged $16 cleaning fee for a clean trailer. I was a bit upset about that.Pia C.

It was a great experience because of U-Haul being a customer oriented entity. I thank each person that helped me, each time. I ran into difficulties and time issues with the truck, not U-Haul's fault at all, rather unforeseen problems with my help's work schedules. Have your people who checked me in not tell me they're closed when it isn't quite closing time. They were backing a truck out of the return area, so I parked the van I rented in customer parking. When I walked inside, I was told to move it to the return area. When I parked in the return area, it was 4:48pm, and the place closes at 5 according to your website. The woman told me that normally I would have to call the number to return the van since they were closed, but then said they would take care of it. When the gentleman finished checking me in, it was exactly 5:00pm. Please remind them that customer service is a high priority, and they should not be telling people they are closed when they shouldn't be yet.Tracey W.

I'm hearing impaired with hearing aids but still had to ask the lady to repeat herself. A few days later they let me know a 10x20 was available and we were able to change me to the 10x20 and U-Haul only charged me for the day for the days I had the 10x10 rented.
