My wife and I rented a 10' U-Haul to switch apartments. We hired a company through the U-Haul Moving Help service called Easy Mover (www.movinghelp.com).They did an excellent job in helping us, and even provided extra muscle in getting our U-Haul unstuck from a snow patch. I would definitely hire them again in the future if we require moving help again.

I rented a trailer and it was dirty when I got it, and I was worried about being charged for it cause they were extremely fast going through the rental process but I'm extremely great full for their check out app that let me see and take pictures of the trailer. I dropped the trailer off after hours and everything was fun, no worries. I got text saying my deposit is ready to be returned by text message the next day.

Worst customer service from call centre staff and they pushed my reservation 3 times by themselves and didn't even tell me the third time they move it.I should not even give you 0.5 but your Sales associate " Aws" saved my day and his actions and behaviour restored my faith in humanity. Hats off to his customer service but besides him everything is crappy with U-haul and specially the lady I spoke to from customer service as she was consistently telling me to go to U-haul's competitors rather than keeping your customers happy you are sending them to your competition, Wow!!!!! I am not impressed. U-haul said they have applied a $50 credit to my Visa card but its been a week we had that conversation but I don't see any credit. My only request is stick to your words and hire people like "Aws" who actually care about people. Will never recommend U-haul.

Summer tires in Alberta Winter isn't a safe option. The ramp was covered in ice & the floor on the inside of the van was covered in ice. This made for a very unsafe & precarious loading & unloading experience. When I brought this up with the staff I got no response.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Long line-up (30 min wait) though. Phone support was also excellent. The truck was great. The tires are insufficient for Alberta winters.

When we picked up the vehicle, the counter attendant didn't do a walk through or walk around of the vehicle with me. As we went to load some items into the back cargo area, we noticed a lock on the door. Going back into the store to ask about a key, the staff exclaimed "that's what's wrong with that truck!". A staff member grabbed a pair of bolt cutters, and my brother cut the lock off. The back cargo area was dirty, the staff member swept it out for us. Upon getting into the cab and driving away I got a text message to check in with the vehicle. After I filed it the check list, we noticed how dirty the inside of the truck was, stains on the dash, steering wheel was sticky, cup holders were very sticky. Windshield had been horribly wiped on the driver side and was streaky. We returned it in the same condition. I'm not cleaning up another person's mess. I will fight the charges if the location tries to charge me a cleaning fee. Basically the staff seem like they don't care, proper cleaning protocols are not in place, especially given the times we are in, it's unacceptable.

Was charged a cleaning fee even though I noted that the truck was dirty and smelled like cigarettes before I left the lot. Honestly not even surprised, anytime i try Uhaul something goes wrong. Also, the self check in takes just as long and a phone call.

Need faster service at counter, yard is a mess lots of garbage,trailer I rented needed a outside wash ,,,staff should be wearing masks covering their nose no sanitizing of debit machine that i saw ,customers inside without masks should be asked to put one on ,seen 2 customers 1 on check in 1 on check out no mask

If you confirm an online reservation, make sure you can deliver. Calling me a couple of days later, after I've already made all the arrangements to move on schedule, telling me you can't give me the truck for the requested number of hours and from the requested location, is poor service

Our initial reservation was for 9am. We called in to make sure our truck was ready to go and were on hold until 9:30. Then we were told we were 30 minutes late but our truck was good to go so they would change the reservation to 10am. When we checked in, We were told to go outside and the CSR would have the keys and would take us to the truck. We stood in the middle of the parking lot and no one came. We finally asked one of the CSRs if he knew where our truck was, and he said the other guy had the keys. We started walking around the lot ourselves to find our truck only to realize one of the CSRs had put someone in our truck without even looking at the model number or the contract. The other customer almost drove off the lot. This is all after the other customer not returning our truck until 10:30am so our reservation was delayed by 2 hours.

They change my reservation at the last minute then dont have the equipment I rented. I made a uhaul reservation a month ago and they think it's ok to just change dates and times. Its complete bullshit. The service is crap too. It took me over an hour to just return the truck. I dont know about any of you but when I'm moving I dont have an hour to sit in a line. I tried to return the truck twice online and it didnt work ,so I had to get back in line and start the wait all over. Overall a shitty experience not to mention I was told if the truck is late being returned I'll be charged 50 bucks because someone else reserved it. The truck was still there well after I returned it . The guys there also told other people that there's no penalty for returning the truck late. The employees all need to get on the same page.

The location was hard to find and we sat on hold 15 minutes waiting for directions. The directions on the website were not good,we finally just entered the address in our GPS and found it.

51st Ave location was short workers,the vehicle wasn't clean when I got it,a worker cleaned it before I left and there was what looked like confusion where the keys was before bring able to look at the truck in the beginning.Being the end of the month they were short staffed so that's the only negative. Checking out the truck online was nice to and dropping off the key in key box,only takeaway was hard to get good pics at night.

The guy helping me was good ... I just had a question about a discount the lady next to him was very rude I was not even talking to her and she rudely started talking to my .. the u haul had only 25 percent fuel so had to fill just after one round ! From inside of the uhaul it was just filthy and the ramp was broken so not a good experience .. and certain staff needs to learn how to talk to clients it's called customer service reps for a reason !

Gas tank was not 3/8 as was stated, I have a proof of the photo, since it was cold and I was in a rush took a picture but hadn't talked to the agent yet (Friday evening and my customer was waiting for me to move him out). The vehicle didn't start for 15 min we had to boost it with cables. Need to contact me back 5875909850

When we went into the building to retrieve the key the staff working at the desk was pretty rude, but other than that loved the digital pickup option, would be great if there was a key locker so you didn't even have to go inside.

Complete disorganization and unprofessional staff which most likely relates to leadership suns this up. Asian lady was rude and dismissive when I first went into set up my reservation. Quotes and pricing was an apparent hassle on site. The corporate office I called was great.get that lady to train people!!! Return was an argument as the person working disputed my documented payment and deposit left despite having a printed receipt and showing him my bank account. Could not get a receipt for final bill printed as the printer was out of ink/ toner. Would you rent from a business like this? Perhaps being more selective on who is an authorized dealer or training would be a good start.

Highered movers to helpnext day go to pick truck up only to find out one location double booked. me so the truck wasn't available anymore. Then got rebooked for 530 and they said it wasn't on there system had to cancel cause mostly my movers said it was too late. to say this was just the starting of my headache with uhaul. Asking for my 50$ reimbursement for not having my truck guaranteed was not worth the fight so was out with truck and movers 500$ when it shoulda been 250$ thanks uhaul

I had reserved my truck one week before. The system somehow had duplicated my order and one day before pickup u-haul representative canceled one of them. Today morning I saw the next one was also canceled and when I called and asked about the reason the representative didn't have an answer. then she reserved a cargo van for me while I wanted a 10' truck. but because I had booked elevator and scheduled the time with my friends to help me, didn't have any choice but to accept that. my stuff didn't fit into the cargo and had to carry them in two trips which burdened me with an excess mileage cost. Also, the place that I had booked the 10'f truck was close to my apartment but that cargo van was too far and had to pay more mileage cost because of that. Really was disappointed and unsatisfied. There was a long line of people in the store. the online check-in was OK but for check out the system didn't accept the milage (website accepted only KM but the odometer was in Mil and they didn't know how to convert it. Sent me to the office and had to stand 20 minutes in the line to check out.

The manager (Daren) of the store just given me key, he not interest how much gas in the vehicle.. because i drove 38 miles and I filled $20 gas means almost 22 litres gas... i have all the records of recipes. this is my first time i rented uhaul and sorry to say its bad experience.. Thanks

You did not live up to your $50 guarantee on your website and you did not deliver as you promised. We reserved a unit on the website, guaranteed and back by a $50 pledge and 40 minutes before picking it up we were called and told there was no unit available at that location and denied the $50. We had to drive 40 minutes away (each way) to go to another U haul location to get it. All with 30 minutes notice. I will say that at the Southside location the fellow who served us was very helpful and deserves a great customer service rating. I would give him a 5. But not the company, because U-Haul doesn't stand by its word. Can't be trusted. Sheri Wright

Gave away my truck which had a guaranteed reservation, tried to give me a truck which was not suitable to my needs. After much arguing I got someone else's truck which while not ideal did the job. Upon brining it back I had to wait almost an hour in line to return it due to staff errors.

U-haul is the worst. Absolutely hate moving because of companies like UHaul to be honest. The garbage app for quick pick up didn't work which wasted a full hour of our booked time to sort in person. We have had nothing but problems with U-Haul.

I would recommend uhaul but not the location. It was so crowded it was difficult to get a trailer in and out and so busy it cost me nearly an hour at pick up and half an hour at drop off.

I was in one of the upstairs storage units which was a pain. The only way to access it was to go up was a very narrow set of stairs. I guess the price was okay but for the hassle to actually move in and out I don't think it was worth it. Staff were very friendly and very helpful.

The roof leaked The lock hooks didn’t line up ... 10 min to just take lock off not to mention the fight to put it on The web page that has auto charge the credit card on time of billing dosnt work. Recieved hate mail each month The inability to do auto payment when getting storage was frustrating The space was locked to get to the unit. Each time a longgatted process Paying only a few months in advance rhrough the till seemed ridiculous Cash payment was also trouble. Preferred plastic because no cash till. Maybe an offer for checking out early on a paid would be a courtesy This form should have a comment area under each question .... was the faculty clean. Not so much - run down is more like it. Clean ish. What do you mean by clean? The staff was super good. Great people.

The staff didn't book me out when I left the place. I then received a bill 5 weeks after I left as what I was owning them 151$. I had to wast more then 2 hours and drive on place to get it cancel 😡
