Brittany and her team don't just rent trucks; they solve problems and go above and beyond to provide you with solutions. I have had responsibility for various levels of customer service departments and people over my 30 year career and I have never experienced such a high level of focus on the customer as I have here at the U-Haul in Stamford. Brittany and her team set the bar very high in terms of customer service and an overall incredibly positive experience. The people at the Stamford location are very good with customers. I would give credit to Brittany Hatch for the high quality way the team operates. Background: I initially rented from Greenwich Hardware because they are located in the town where I live. Never again! The staff there was terrible and frankly they do a poor job representing U-Haul. My gut is they are in the business of over charge for U-Haul boxes and don't care about customer service! When I called to confirm my rental and discovered I was picking it up in Stamford not Greenwich, the guy at Greenwich Hardware actually said "U-Haul Traffic moved your truck to Stamford, I didn't. I don't have time for complaints; here is the 800 number for U-Haul, call them and complain". And then he hung up. When I discussed how Greenwich Hardware handled my reservation and the way they blamed U-Haul, Brittany stepped in to make things right. She is smart, she clearly cares about U-Haul and its customers and represents the organization well. I plan to rent a truck again next month. I will be back to the Stamford location to rent again because of Brittany.STEPHEN L.

Had an issue with gas/being incorrectly charged for the amount of gas that should have been in the vehicle upon return. This location reached out immediately and resolved the issue which was wonderful. They were also extremely helpful during pickup/drop-off. Great staff!COLLEEN C.

I was charged for equipment I did not have and charged for an additional day for equipment I had for only 3 hours. Although I was credited for the equipment I did not have, I was never refunded my money for the additional day for the equipment I did rent. When going to Uhaul twice, the managers were never there nor did they call me back to rectify the situation. Some of the workers were pleasant and helpful. Was from the beginning a total hustle, I reserved a 17' for 24 hrs, next day I received an email that the rental location has not 17', they will give me a 20' When I pick it up even if the truck was there they told me is already reserved fir another customer that reserved â€œlong beforeâ€, I was in shock and they Dave me a 15' which was not too bad. The problem was that they put me in a 7 hrs rental which was a problem because we pick it up in the afternoon to start next day in the morning. After begging the agent they extend me until 06:30 which still did not work for us. We ending returning it after we finish, which was not any inconvenience fir the rental place. They told me they receive an email from headquarters letting them know that I'm going to be late in the return. Don't understand rate prices are for 24 hrs and they charge the full rate, why they make you return early when they're pretty much book. Even if I stated that I needed for a day the system changed to 7 hrs. Other than that, the employees were great and did everything possible to accommodate our needs.GUILLERMO M.

I always worry when I get a vehicle and there is minor damage since it never seems to be noted on the forms (I am talking about scrapes) but I also noticed that no one (Uhaul, Audi of Greenwich) seems to care about minor scrapes. I guess my fear comes from my age when every minor scratch was an issue. However I always use this location and I find the process fast and effective.gregory P.

Joese Sanchez and the head female manager there are “WOW” I have had the worse experience with every storage company but these two I don’t even have the words for it. They made me feel like a member of their own family. The service,the attention to detail, the passion to help me and listen to me was incredible and that head woman manger is GREAT like DOPE.Every time she sees me she gives me a hug. I was going through a divorce and a separation from my daughter that daily hug made my day and she had no idea how healing it was. I wonder if she even knows she hugs me.She is just great. The level of service I got from there I know for a fact they didn’t acquire that from Uhaul it came from somewhere else. Jose Sanchez Is an absolute Angel.I don’t even want to leave Uhaul. I have told a lot of my friends to go there.There was a time I couldn’t get access to my clothes. The storage was closed by the city for nearly 4 months. I had no clothes to wear to go to my interview and they could not let me in at all.It what a tough situation and I needed to get to that job interview and my suits were in that storage. I don’t know how her and Jose pulled it off I got a rebate and I was able to buy a suit and tie for that interview and I got the job.
