Truck was trashed, could not see safety through the windshield, truck on empty. Before I left I pointed the issues out with the truck, Was told â€œYa the College Kids leave the trucks a mess. â€œ I pointed out the tank was on empty and the fuel on the contract said a quarter tank. She said the kids will be charged for the fuel, I said but I have to leave it with a 1/4 tank or I'll be charged..She said there is a Shell station 3 miles down the roadâ€¦She was very nice, not rude at all, was just like it's the only truck I have with a ramp, If you don't want it, I understand we are just so low on equipment.. Melissa is always so helpful and kind at the U-Haul Store on 6th St, in Stillwater, Ok. The other U-Haul site off of Airport Road is very rude and shows little care to help patrons. They could learn a great deal from Melissa and how wonderfully she treats people who come to the 6th St site.Ronna B.

I picked up a 20 foot truck Wednesday and the windshield was covered in bugs. I had to take it to get gas and wash the windshield. The inside of the truck had dried I don't know what all over the cup holders. It also looked like it had peanuts in it. The passenger side floorboard was dirty too. Grass all over it. I told the guy working about it and he just told me well it was checked by a manager. I also never got my link to pre-check the truck. I took pictures of the mess. I swept it out myself. You think if I pay $800 for a vehicle that they could at least put a little effort into making sure it is clean.JAMES R.

The employees in Stillwater were very nice and accommodating with my U-Box delivery! They called me when it was delivered 5 days early and ensured I got all my belongings when I accidentally left some behind. We have a son at OSU and needed a place to store all of his dorm stuff over the summer. The storage at this facility was clean, secure and easy to use. I set everything up online and when I asked questions, I was immediately answered. We rented a one way truck to haul everything and that worked perfectly also. Even with online check-in for the purpose of expediting the pick-up process, I still had to wait in line the morning of pickup for about an hour. My pickup appt time was for 7am but looking at the website for this location, it says they don't open until 8am. Someone showed up around 7:30am but I still had to wait inline for another 30 mins or so. Kinda dumb to waste all that time completing the online checkin info.Charles B.

There was a lot debris and glass in the common drive areas to get to our unit. We often worried about getting a flat when we had to go our storage unit. Our rent was fairly pricey to begin with and kept increasing. We ended up finding another facility that offered us a larger unit for $50 cheaper per month.Kelsey F. | Overall Experience
Impossible to get in touch with staff over the phone. When I showed up nobody was present. I was eventually assisted by a gentleman smoking a cigarette during the majority of our interaction, who had a rather off-putting monologue about his struggles with smoking addiction. Although the trailer functioned as it should, it smelled of mildew and cigarette smoke, a smell which consequently permeated the furniture going into my smoke-free home.Hunter H.

When I arrived and tried to check in, the key was missing. The clerk discovered another employee had taken the key to Walmart. I had to wait for the clerk to drive to and from Walmart with the key to the vehicle. The inside of the truck and cargo area were filled with live cockroaches scattering all over once the doors were opened. I had to purchase insecticide before being able to load the truck. The gas tank was only a quarter full of fuel, and I had to stop and fill up before we were able to do anything else for our move. Worst experience to date with Uhaul.Michael C.

This was a disaster! I rented to pick up electronically before they opened. I confirmed that the key would be accessible in a lock box. I had movers being paid during this time. We had to wait an hour in the parking lot until they were open. Not the fault of the location, but the fault of the reservationist who took and confirmed my order. On May 7th I reserved a 20' truck for May 28th to move my daughter home from her college apartment. I showed up at the U-Haul facility at 7:45am on the 28th to pick up the truck. They had one 20' truck on premise but they said I couldn't have that one and that they didn't have a truck for me. Keep in mind, I'm the only one there at that time and I have a reservation for a 20' truck and there is one on the lot. My daughter had to be out of her apartment by 5pm that day. After an hour and a half at the U-Haul facility the best they could do was rent me a 12 foot trailer. The 12 foot trailer was a major inconvenience as we had to make 2 trips between Stillwater OK and Glenpool OK to move all of her stuff which is an extra 140 miles roundtrip.James H.

I have rented from Bobby for over 9 years. He has always gone above what normal people do as far as service. He is knowledgeable about many things and will come to your aid anytime. He will come in all types or weather conditions and make sure you are secure before you leave his shop. I will only rent from him. I have read some of the comments and I say if you are not satisfied with Bobby Dee then you must be the problem. He know what he is talking about and respects people in every way.
