The van was damaged and the oil change light was on, the dolly we reserved wasn't available, the van wasn't clean and smelled smoky inside, and the previous user had left items in the back. Also the gas was very low when we picked up.

Our pickup location was changed from a block from my house to a location 30 minutes away from us in a bad neighborhood. When we go to the new pickup location the inside of the truck was soaking wet and covered in dirt and leaves. An employee attempted to clean the truck which pushed back our pick up time. He was able to get the leaves out but the inside of the truck was still completely wet. Our drop off location was also changed to a uhaul facility further away then while returning they charged us for extra miles even though they forced us to drive further to pick up and drop off the truck. I also called uhaul multiple times and had the worst customer service experiences of my life. Of the probability 10 employees I interacted with only one was friendly but unfortunately she was not helpful either.

To improve for the next customer you can make sure that none of your vans are reported stolen. I got pulled over by the cops who informed me of that. When I informed the general manager he denied it. Now I get the receipts and he up charged me which overdrew my account

Front desk employee was very helpful. Had some issues getting our storage to the unit and one of the floor workers helped get it on a cart. The original unit we got had a lock still on it, so we were given a new one, but only complaint there is there wasnt an elevator to get to the unit with our heavy storage. Had to spend some time lugging a heavy treadmill up a staircase to get to the new unit. Def check where ur locker is beforehand if you have heavy storage.

The executive at Ridge Ave Philadelphia Ms.Nalmah was rude and customer non friendly. Either she was ignorant of the online process or had some other intentions. She initially refused to give me trailer because as per her there is no online check-in. She took 15 minutes just to pull my reservation and then took my credit card and driving license to confirm to carry on with the process. She kept both my ID and CC on table for another 10 min and took picture of DL. That is when I saw in system I saw my ID was already uploaded by me and again by her and asked her why is she uploading again and why is she keeping my credit card on table for so long. she said I do WONT give you trailer today go away. I said I will call customer care and her reply was go out of this place and call. I wasn't sure if she was CEO or front desk executive at UHAUL. The matter was resolved by their manager and she apologized for keeping me there. She said we verify credit card at this location but sorry for keeping it on table for 10 minutes. I couldn't argue or make them understand that the CC was also on file because it's online reservation and online check-in. I will never ever visit this location.

This location was woefully understaffed and it took hours to pick up my trailer. I booked the trailer at a different location and Uhaul sent me here. The owner said I could return it after the designated return period and that there would be no issue, and I was charged double. Uhaul refuses to fix my issue and charge me the agreed upon amount. This location is run by liars.

Although this was not our requested pick-up location, it was not too far from our home and turned out to be fine. The staff was helpful, the office was clean and well-lit, and the truck was in great shape (almost new, very clean). The only disappointment was that they did not have the furniture pads that I had requested in stock.

I used this facility to store some of my daughters extras because she is miles away from home , she is a college student in Pennsylvania. In my haste and travel, I forgot I had to use a uhaul padlock which was required in addition to the insurance. Unfortunately I had inadvertently left the key to the padlock home. The staff was not very helpful and told me there wasn’t much they could do. I had to figure this out on my own and had to get a very expensive locksmith to break the lock . Just wish I would be able to use my own lock next time and wish for the staff to be more helpful during college move which is already a stressful time. Just wished I didn’t have to spend the extra money for the locksmith, which I didn’t have.

This place well very unorganized and ghetto. Most of the employees were more content with standing outside and smoking and gossiping than assisting customers. The vehicle was dirty, keys were not where they were supposed to be and equipment paid to rent wasn't available. I'd avoid going back to this location at all costs.

The truck 15ft was old and beat up. The people at this faculty were excellent. It would have been nice if the back were at least swept out prior to renting. When we started to load our property we noticed there was actual dirt all throughout the back of the truck which we needed to clean. Additionally the gas reported to be in the tank when we took possession was recorded to be 1/4 tank when it was actually than 1/8. With gas over $4/ gallon, I didn't think we would need to leave the U-Haul facility and immediately have to look for a gas station.

We had an issue with our access code. We found out after many issues that our code we selected to enter and access our floor was already in use by another tenant. I would suggest checking to see if a 4 digit code was already in use by someone else before the same is assigned to another person causing lots of delays and issues. The staff was really great but this seems like it could be an easy fix that would solve problems.

Employee was great, however I booked online with a card and policy requires card to be present at pickup. Family booked the truck for me, so I didn't have the card with me. Very frustrating and inconvenient, especially in a stressful time such as moving. Had I not been in a tight situation and already at the U-Haul location, I wouldn't have proceeded with the truck and would have went elsewhere. Will most likely avoid using U-Haul from now on. It never seems to be an easy process.

The truck was not ready for pickup-- even though I'd confirmed I'd pick it up using the app, the app said I was scheduled for "hand delivery," and I ended up having to wait an hour and a half for staff to arrive, which delayed my cross-state move. However, I think this was more an issue with U-Haul than this particular location, and Natesha the assistant manager came in early to help me, which I'm very grateful for.

First off, your workers at this storage unit do not care at all. Was talking to a local that was an African American that says he has 5 units at this places right now since he buys them at auction and he even said those 3 woman are laughing at us right now since we are 2 white boys in the hood. I called in advance asking if we lost our keys to the unit, what would happen. The person on the phone said you pay a $50 and we cut it off. Thats it. I traveled over 3 hours away with that information for them to tell me they never said that and I would need to make an appointment. Which can't be done today. No help or anything. I then had to call all around for an emergency locksmith to come cut the lock off and get charged an emergency rate. Then your staff gave him a hard time when they found out he was cutting it off. Educate your employees on working with customers instead of sitting behind a desk not caring at all about them. Then when I finally get into my locker to move out, what do I find? A dead mouse in my Locker and your staff did not care at all when told about this. After this experience. I WILL NEVER use a uhaul product or storage service again.

I was treated very disrespectful by the young lady who call herself the assistant manager and after reporting the issue to the manager he seemed to not to care. There was a huge mixup in a reservation that was made by the assistant manager and they showed no remorse about it. Very unprofessional!!!! I moved out! The U-Haul female employee who did my transaction was able to switch my storage room right away after I saw it had a wall that will made my measurements much smaller then I paid for to new storage room the same size I brought with a complete open space. Thank you!
