This was a nightmare experience. I rented a truck and trailer from this location. The trailer fell off of the truck 2 miles from the pick up location, right before I was about to get on a very busy road. It was frightening, the trailer was shaking back and forth and almost flipped over. We waited over and hour for the trailer to be towed back to Uhaul. It was then too late in the day to drive the 3 hours we needed to drive to do the move. I took off from work for a completely wasted day. I am about to call Uhaul customer service, and I really hope they make this right. I will never go to this location again.Melanie M.

The staff was very attentive and efficient. The biggest issue is that we raised concerns about the tire wear and unevenness with the manager before and after rental. The manager was exceptionally receptive but so far has not helped our case. We rented the same type of trailer months before and knew what to expect with respect to mileage. This unevenness really ate into our fuel economy. As per the manager, we escalated the concern with U-Haul corporate who has now sent an email back to this location. First off, your workers at this storage unit do not care at all. Was talking to a local that was an African American that says he has 5 units at this places right now since he buys them at auction and he even said those 3 woman are laughing at us right now since we are 2 white boys in the hood. I called in advance asking if we lost our keys to the unit, what would happen. The person on the phone said you pay a $50 and we cut it off. Thats it. I traveled over 3 hours away with that information for them to tell me they never said that and I would need to make an appointment. Which can't be done today. No help or anything. I then had to call all around for an emergency locksmith to come cut the lock off and get charged an emergency rate. Then your staff gave him a hard time when they found out he was cutting it off. Educate your employees on working with customers instead of sitting behind a desk not caring at all about them. Then when I finally get into my locker to move out, what do I find? Don't overcharge for gas when the customer already added for their travel. I filled 2.3 gals for 32 miles of travel and still got hit with an extra gas bill. I don't have time to argue on the phone for $12, but suffice it to say I'll pick a different location next time.ANDREI C.

The uhaul app to check in by yourself is useless. Scape it. Start over. Build one that works. Checking in via phone is confusing, repeatedly asked to submit same thing over and over (though I did things correctly like take a photo of my license) and eventually I gave up. This is second time in two years I had troubles with app. Thank God the women at the counter who works for you guys was wonderful but even she had trouble using app. It's buggy and terrible and I come from the world of computer science.Paul K.

I had two issues with U-HAUL services and rental. Hitch installation and wiring short on the trailer. We blew a fuse 6 times on our commute from Philly to St. Louis. We had to stop multiple times to insert a new fuse to get the lights to work on the trailer.ANTHONY W.

F**king roaches….I just picked up my items and vacated my unit yesterday items were in the facility for literally 3 weeks and so far I’ve seen several ROACHES come out of my belongings!!!! One on a mirror and another on a box as I was opening. The house I moved from had been exterminated and the new house I just moved has been remodeled with brand new everything so im certainly not happy about seeing roaches in my belongings!!!! Also when I rented my 10x10 unit there is an giant pillar inside of the unit I was not made aware of this until after I had went to place my lock on the unit which resulted in me having to purchase another unit after seeing that the rest of my items would not fit due to this enormous pillar in the way taking up valuable square footage in the unit! This was very inconvenience!!! I wasn’t going to complain about the unit being as though my items were only stored for about 3 weeks but seeing these roaches have made me change my mind. I never have stored my belongings in a facility and had to deal with a pest problem upon collecting my things. I can't say enough good things about Martin and his team -- I was very nervous about doing the auto tow but I knew right away that I was in good hand's when Martin started to set it up -- he was great and made me feel very confident about driving the uhaul with the auto tow. Everyone at this location was very nice when I was very stressed about my move - they were all patient and very helpful. I also really appreciated having the storage unit there, the ability to rent a dolly, and how clean and well-run the location was -- a real step up from other Uhaul locations I have used. In short -- I wish other businesses were as well run and I credit Martin for running this location so well. A good team starts at the top! I have already recommended this location to other residents at the building I left in Philly (The Isle) and told everyone how great u-haul was when they ask about my move.
