I got charged 3 gallons of gas after I passed where it was. I called to let them know and they never called back. I also got a cleaning fee when truck wasn't clean to begin with.

After waiting in line for over 30 minutes, I watched two customers nearly murder an associate out of frustration and anger. Their reserved vehicles were no longer available, which caused them to angrily shout profanities at the employees (which I also would’ve done). Poor performance.

When entering the office/box factory there is no organized path leading to approach the representatives. There are constant arguments with clients to who was first in line. More room for clients verses tons of boxes is the “IN” design. If clients need boxes, I’m sure they would ask for them, just as they ask for trucks. You don’t keep the trucks in the showroom do you? Boxes don’t need to overpower the space. From a customer/architect/designer.

The outside front of the van wasn’t washed and so I had to really look it over for any scratches or small dents. Other then that service was fast and reliable. I did have a problem online when I went to pick up the van but the salesperson had my info when I got there.

I did the after hours drop off. Very easy. Called next morning and spoke with Andy. Told him about horrible experience at Uhaul of INDIO. He was very empathetic to our experience there and apologized on behalf of Uhaul. The INDIO location NEVER apologized for our experience. Andy also issued a small but fair credit to my final bill, again on behalf of Uhaul. This is something the people at Uhaul of Indio refused to do. So Uhaul of Sun Valley did what Uhaul of INDIO should have done. Thank you Andy for professional and courteous service. You single handedly retained my trust in your company. Highly recommend these guys!

We requested the truck be at this location but instead we had to go to an additional 2 locations (Victory and Alameda and finally Glendale). THAT WAS VERY INCONVENIENT. Especially because we requested the truck be at Hollywood way. Staff at Hollywood way was friendly, professional and acccomodating!

I'm not going to use the smart phone way again. Going over and and committing to this based on the lousy pics of the truck made me nervous as heck. Then I saw no place to estimate the gallons of gas used. I went 9 miles total and I put 4 gallons of gas using a visual check of the gauge while filling like I normally do. Now that's a little over 2 that's two miles per gallon. So you tell me who made out like a bandit and it wasn't me!

This is an excellent UHaul location with a good inventory but gets super busy on weekend mornings. Not sure what you could do to ease that rush and further reduce the wait time as helpful and knowledgable staff strike me as already operating on peak efficiency.

It was very busy for a one man crew. The guy was awesome. He worked hard to make sure everyone and everything was safe secure and taken care of. He worked hard. I had no problem waiting. I strongly recommend U-Haul helps this guy out, gets him an Assistant and gives him a raise for being a five star employee. Good job dude

tough to get out of with freeway off ramp adjacent. Your phone system sucks! waited over 30 minutes to connect with the rental service location to confirm my trailer. Next time I'll check with other rental companies.

The viehcel had broke glass in the front can. I was asked to return it by 5:30 pm because it was scheduled for release at 6pm I arrived and the viehcel did not go out. I rented the viehcel for a day, 24hrs not 23hours or 23hours and 40mins. Due to that i had other difficulties with my day to accomodate u-hual I left the viehcel with more gas then what I received it with and was told there is no reanbrusment for that.

As soon as I pulled in the driveway the individual came over and said I had to take the unit to a different location. He was quite rude in his approach. He was acting the same way with the individual that was ahead of me. It was a mess for a few minutes. I refused to take it to another location and told them that I had to get to work. Tell me to park the truck and that he would not check it in at this time. I left the keys in the ignition and left. Later I saw an additional charge on my credit card which further irritated me. I left the truck with more fuel in it then when I left and did not use all of the mileage.

As soon as we pulled up, the person working yelled at us and was extremely rude. In addition, he didn't indicate the correct fuel level upon check in. We returned the truck at 3/8ths of a tank but he didn't change the level (it was dispatched to us at 1/16th of a tank). Because of his inadequate job, we were charged 30 dollars extra. When I noticed the discrepancy, I brought it to his attention and he said there was nothing they could do so I would have to talk to the Canyon Country location. This morning I called the Canyon Country location and they said since it was an issue with check-in, Sun Valley had to handle it. I told the Canyon Country location that Sun Valley already told me they weren't going to fix it so he advised I called Customer Service. I've been on hold with customer service for 10 minutes just trying to talk to someone. Now I have to wait for the district manager to call me back. All because someone couldn't be bothered to do his job I have to waste my time to get my money back. I am VERY dissatisfied with this Sun Valley location.

Well, the store “opened” at 7am, my appointment was for 7:30 am. The guy working didn’t show up for work until 8 am. He then had me hook up the “first thing he has” it was a dirty trailer with actual trash, like foam pads and plastic wrap in it. Then he was frustrated when I asked him to mark all the different damage that’s as on the trailer so that I wouldn’t be charged. I then left the u-haul at 8:38 am. Over all I was an hour late for my move in appointment because of this causing me to be charged a fee. Then paying for people to help me unload sat there being paid for over an hour. I ended up getting charged more than the uhaul was worth because the guy couldn’t show up to work on time. Ps. I showed up at this location at 7:15 am.

This location double charged me and will not call me back. I rented a truck for 24 hours. Returned the vehicle on the same day but after hours and at the time of pick up all I was told was that I can simple drop off the keys when returning this vehicle, but now they are charging me for another days rental and the manager will not answer or return my calls. And I was not the only customer to complain about issues from that location. They are ripping people off and I demand that someone return my call or email. This is unprofessional and ridiculous.

Easy to make reservation on site for 2 days ahead. the online check-in was convenient. only had to show drivers license on site (i did not want to do that online. Pickup was quick and returning was efficient.

Originally I ordered this 26ft truck for pick up in Agoura on 4/27 I recieved a text saying it had been changed to Westlake I called and said this is TO FAR from my job site & was told nothing could be done So I CANCELLED this order. Next day I reordered a 26ft truck from Burbank # 20513347 I called to confirm that I did have a 26 ft on 4/27. I was told YES On Friday 4/28 @ 5:00pm I recieved a text saying the pickup had been rescheduled for WESTLAKE @ 7:ooAM It was too late to call /cancel/or reschedule SO I sent my crew to Westlake @ 7:ooAM on 4/27 as instructed. NO one was there.they were Not Open... I called AGAIN & was told that my 26f'ter was scheduled for BURBANK!!!??? I asked Why I recieved the text.no one knew. I then sent my crew to Burbank where they arrived appx 8::30am They had to wait for almost an hr....they arrived @ the job site2 hrs late...................This impacted their job performance as well as my profit My company AAAHoarding & BioHazard Removal uses Uhaul a lot.This is the Worst experience I have had. I had to change locations to this one because N. Hollywood didn't have the trailer I reserved, which was inconvenient. Your stores are unnecessarily understaffed, and your people, though very hardworking, are overworked and under appreciated. They treat customers well, but it's obvious they aren't happy working for you. You need to treat your employees better, staff enough and in turn customers will get faster service, and be more satisfied with their experience. This has been every experience I've had using U haul.

I was not informed that the per-mile charge was different on Friday. I told them I needed the truck on Friday and they said .89 per mile. Turned out to be over a dollar per mile. By the time I found out it was too late to alter the plan. Customers need correct information. I feel like you owe me.

Mileage written on paper is different from actual mileage that caused confusion and overpriced me . Luckily I had a photo taken of before taking off and photo of mileage as I arrived. This is a trend that kept going to ongoing customers. Workers need to check mileage not go off based in last drop off!

Trailer was attached to my tow vehicle, and employee took a photo of the connection, and I drove home. I loaded the trailer with furniture, etc., and checked the hitch before driving off. I noticed that neither of the 2 safety chains were attached to my vehicle; they were still neatly stored on the trailer! Please check the photo for U-Haul Contract 29757790 if you need proof. Recommend better safety training and hitch connections for your employees.
