Dog foood everywhere inside U-Haul Got charged for a cleaning fee after specificy stating there’s some dog food left from previous rental .

Vehicle was dirty, but this was not a deal breaker ( I just needed to use the truck for a few hours) Service could have been more efficient. I filled out my reservation online and was ready to go when i entered the location. Two employees working, one helping a customer. 2nd employee told me to wait for 1st employee to finish with customer and that I would be next. 2nd employee just walked around the premises casually, not busy, zero customers. Twenty minutes later I was on my way! So theres that. I figured, one guy works register while second guy works incoming/outgoing vehicles, fine. When I returned the car, I had to wait in line for a second time, both employees were checking in customers. Everyone was very nice, but it appeared to me that my time didn't really matter. Hope this review helps improve customer service.

I delivered my truck by the delivery time, I even arrived 15 minutes before store opening yet I was charged for 3 EXTRA DAYS on a 24hour rental. The store manager does not seem to be available. Corporate only takes messages. Don't leave the store without your receipt. They told me everything was good and they would email it to me which they did 2 days later withadditional

Here's the thing: While the staff at pick up and drop off locations indicated here were excellent, I DID NOT get my preferred location to pick up. I DID NOT get my preferred vehicle. I DID NOT get my preferred drop-off. I COULD NOT use the app at the first drop off. The mobile site WOULD NOT process my payment due to some internal error. The staff at the first drop off location REFUSED to take the truck, citing they had too many already. I SPECIFICALLY CHOSE the first drop off because it is right around the corner from where I live. Instead, I was forced to go to another location that I then had to Uber from. I was charged for another day because the app confused me into thinking my return deadline was 12pm, not 10am. Luckily, the second drop off location agreed to drop that charge, but the insurance fee for a second day could not be removed, so I between that and Uber, I spent more money than I had planned for. Ultimately, my Uhaul experience was not a positive one and I will not be using Uhaul for another bigger move as I had planned.

Rented truck in advance,obviously was not checked after last rental, it was 115 degrees the day I rented and a/c did not work obviously didn’t work the rental before mine, had no choice but to use it ,all I got for my trouble was 30 dollars off and over billed on my invoice

Uhaul chargedme $14 for gas when i return the truck with more gas compare to when I picked it up. The attendant insisted on me leaving the truck upon return and claimed he will inspect them later. I tried to stay for inspection but they claimed they are too busy and will inspect later. This gas charges are illegal and should be credited back.

During the return they told me leave the car here because our system is down we will send you a receipt. I get the receipt after 1 hour with overcharge. They charged me for 2 days with insurance while I had the car just for 1. Now I’m going back and forward to get a refund.

It wasn't this location. It was uhaul itself. I booked a car in Glendale but was assigned La Crescenta. I was a bit late and they told me that they had given my car to somebody else even though I had reserved it for the rest of the day. We finally found a car in Burbank and had it until midnight. When we got to the location we tried for a very long time to check out with the app but there was apparently a glitch and that didn't work. We called uhaul customer support and told them about the glitch and they instructed us to drop the key and take pictures. We did. However. Uhaul still decided to charge us for 2 days for vehicle and dolly. Horrible customer service during such a stressful time of moving.

The employees @ “ THIS “ location were great. I made a reservation online & put in the zip code to where we wanted to pick up a vehicle, it gave me a reservation for AR notary located@ 5957 Vineland ave, which is not the correct address, nor does a u haul exist there, But we didn’t find that out until we drove all the way over there. We called the notary which was not open, big surprise when she called back she said she didn’t work sundays. We waited on the phone with u haul customer service for 30 min. Then had to go back to the city we came from because no other u haul had the 10’ enclosed truck we needed. Did I mention we we’re paying our 2 helpers hourly. So in return for all the wrong doing that happened we were supposed to get a break on the cost per mile which by the way is rediculous 89 cents per mile, but hey what did I really expect them to do @ this point because they already F**KED up our whole moving day as if moving isn’t stressful enough. I will never ever use, refer or mention u hauls name in a positive manner.

I arrived at the store on time for my appointment and that was one client and two staff. One staff was helping one customer the other staff was on the computer. I approached the staff on the computer and he say that he was helping Someone. I waited about 15 minutes but no one was on the phone or in the store than me. Finally I asked if someone else could help me. The staff on the computer made a face and asked for my information. He was not helping any body. Finally I got my truck with a bad attitude from the uhaul employee.

Very disappointed, they give me dirty car, l pick up the car 2:00pm. They told me Bring it back before 10:00pm drop off the keys. I drop of the car around 8:30pm. They charge me 24 hours. Plus extra mileage. I call them they put me on hold for 20 minuets. I couldn’t hold more I was working...... I will try it tomorrow again..... they charge me $80 dollars extra. And giving me run around.
