I did not want to use this location and I was not offered a discount. They changed my location on my UHaul so essentially I had to spend more money then, needed. Not this locations fault but I did not feel compensated for the inconvenience.

You may want to check the ignition keyhole. It seems to stick as I had trouble getting the key into the hole to start the van at times.

The only problem I had to change from a round trip to a local drop off was not change. And I only needed the truck for one day but still paid for two days The first price I was told was $196.00 for return.But we change it to a local drop off (one way) and still had to pay the 196.00 This was odd paid the same for a round trip to a local drop off. Victoria helped me out getting a truck for my move. I know it's her job but she went above and beyond to make sure that the dummy (me) who forgot to reserve a truck got exactly what he needed. I also witnessed her do her best to satisfy a customer who was trying his best to not be happy. Hopefully I don't move again in the near future but when friends/family do she is the reason I will recommend this location.

When we arrived to pick up the truck, I was greeted with some of the worst customer service that I have ever been a part of in my life. Vicki, who i am assuming is the manager of the Taylor, MI, store treated me disrespectfully and belittled me and acted like i didn't know what i was talking about at all. She wouldn't let me use my fathers card that i specifically put on file so that i didn't have to bring it, without hassling me majorly about it. When we got to the location we were loading up, we opened the truck up and it reeked of marijuana to the point where we were getting sick. No other problems besides that. When we returned the vehicle, we were treated the complete opposite compared to when we picked up the truck. The people were friendly, and the service was fast and efficient. That being said, I will not be going back to the Taylor, MI store because of how horrendous the customer service experience was in the morning.

I rented a sm trailer designed specifically to haul motorcycles. I have used this design multiple times. However, ultimately my fault, when I tried to load a Harley Electroglide, a large heavy LOW model, the ramp was too short / steep and I damaged the motorcycle. A "standard" description / warning of this would have been nice in the rental process. My lack of attention to this cost me 100's of dollars in repairs.

the trucks battery died twice on me and when i told the uhaul store they were very rude and said well you should have called rode side assistance. they were not apologetic and seemed not to care at all that I was stu k on the side of the road for an hour and then again stuck at my house without being able to start the truck. very unsatisfying

Not happy. The truck leaked in the moms attic area soaked all of my stuff. Not happy at all. $400 to rent a truck to keep my stuff dry instead of using my open trailer and it leaks all over. This sucks.

Upon pickup my husband was worried about a tire on the trailer and asked about it. By the time we arrived at our destination the tire was only 26 psi we took it to the local uhall and they aired it up. We worried and had to stop numerous times on our way home to check it and air it up.

The mobile pick up is awful. It took longer to do that then it would to go inside. After I went through the mobile process and went inside to get my keys I still had to wait for 2 other customers before the clerk helped me. I stood off to the side like it said so I could get my keys, but still had to wait. The mobile pick up needs a facelift

Truck smelled. Rep was rude to me about attempting to receive an employee discount. My friend (a UHaul employee) helped me set up my reservation and added her employee ID in the notes so the customer service rep would see it and apply the discount. When the rep saw this he started to question me and ask who, why, etc? He told me that it was not allowed and I had no reason to receive a discount. And that my friend should no better. UHaul does not offer friends & family discounts. I basically got a lecture on why it wasn’t allowed. And I didn’t even ask for the discount. He brought it up. Very disappointed in his customer service skills towards me regarding the employee discount. (That he brought up). Was not the friendliest person. I knew it was going to be a rough start. When I said good morning when I first walked in and he said “what was that ?, what did you say?” Definitely not coming back to that location ever again. And possibly not UHaul ever again. I have used this location numerous times. This by far was the worst experience of them all.

The staff was not very friendly at the drop of location. Very curt and they seemed like they just wanted to end the day (I dropped off around 6:00pm). My friend who was with me commented that the gentleman who helped us was rude. I was tired from the move, and I'm sure they had a long day, too.

Not much...just make sure all seals are there on the equipment they need to before being given to the next customer...so some who didn't use the equipment wont get accidental charged....other than having to clear up that decrepency, I was satisfied with their service...

I reserved a pickup truck and a motorcycle trailer online. I specifically went with the pickup truck to haul the trailer because if the tight quarters I was working with. After making the reservation I was switched to a 10' moving truck instead of the pickup. Upon arrival to pickup my equipment at uhaul I was informed of the change. I explained that I needed the pickup truck for to the area I was working in. I was told that they didn't have any available even though there were two in the lot. I was then told that those would be needed "relatively soon". I could either take the truck or go to a different uhaul dealer several miles away. Will, I was also on a time constraint so I had little choice but to take the 10' truck that I didn't reserve. This forced me to move a 778 pound motorcycle that was not running over 600 feet of gravel to get to the trailer which wouldn't fit under the tree canopy. No easy task. When I returned the equipment to uhaul there was of course still a pickup in the yard. I will not be going to this location again.

Worst uhaul experiences I ever had

Cargo light in the box did not work. Left side trailer light quit working. Ramp stop was broke on the RH side so the ramp fell off while trying to load my car. This will cost me a bumper and several front end panels and now I get to deal with insurance on a battle i intend to loose. It is an non-state registered race car, the whole reason i needed a trailer, so I have no proof what damage could have come from racing vs. trailer so it will be a complete waste of my time expecting any compensation.

Inspect the trailers. Was given one with sever rust damage. Broke mid transport was told it would be towed after waiting 3 hours for a repair guy to show up. Uhaul roadside said well call you back in 10 with an update 3 times never called after 10 minutes and took me to call them to be told the same exact thing. Not ever gojng to use uhaul or recomend uhaul ever again. Wasnt even reimbursed my money because of broken equipment.

My bill was only supposed to be about $85, they charged me $300 for less than 24hr uhaul truck rental locally. No damage, all equipment returned the way it was, clean and gas where it was supposed to be. Screwed me big time.

This has nothing to do with either location but just a comment to improve the entire moving experience. My original pickup location was 5 minutes from my house. I was moving Saturday and a uHaul rep. called me Friday, around 5-6pm, telling my truck had been dropped off at the wrong location and that my truck was now unavailable. The closed location where I could get a truck was in Brighton, that's 40 minutes from my house. I was given free miles but still ended up going over my miles and having to pay extra. That was super inconvenient.

Just need it the U-Haul to pick up two pieces of couch and that U-Haul was so dirty and the inside the windows we're dirty you couldn't see out of them you had to let down the window to see the oncoming traffic plus the knob was broken to let down the window

There was an issue with the charges to my credit card, but it was resolved quickly by both the customer service person I spoke to as well as the manager at this specific location. Otherwise I was very satisfied with the transaction.

Service the equipment......In the Winter months it's dark...YOU NEED LIGHTS to load or unload. The first basic item should be the drivers side wiper blade....NO TRUCK should go out without that working.

UHauls policy of not refunding partial month used on storage units is a bad policy. Also they assumed I had moved out but I had plans to use the unit again and they moved someone else into my unit.
