The trailer I was given was baldy repaired. The rear gate was poorly welded and would barely stay closed. They rented me a trailer with completely bad tires that were worn down to the steel belts. We ended up stranded for over 3hrs with 3 kids and our dog in 90Â° weather waiting for a company to come out and replace the tires. Was just a horrible experienceJesse V.

First I was confused by the parking lot because they had lanes and arrows for directions and looked like a cleaning station set up. It was very clean and nice, but for a first time customer I was confused on where to go. Before I got out of my vehicle, two men came out to disconnect the trailer and parked it for me. They were polite, quick, and professional. I went in for my receipt and the desk clerk was very quiet and didn't say much. I'm not sure if she even said hello. I have years of experience in customer service and greeting the customer is very important. It sets the tone for the whole experience.Kathryn O.

I am beyond livid and do not know where to begin!!!!!!!! I just received a bill for $706.83 for a van that DID NOT RUN for over 48 hours and that I had to pay to have jumped once! It was finally picked up yesterday by Uhaul. Since it was DEAD and UNDRIVABLE I was not able to fill it will gas.....so of course, the tank wasn't filled, but y'all charged me for that? And I was charged for additional days for a van that DID NOT RUN?Â What the hell is wrong with you people? This has been the WORST experience I have ever had with a company ever.....and to add fuel to the fire, you are charging me $706.83?????? I STILL have NOT received a call back from the Manager of the Telegraph store as I was told I would. And instead of getting a refund for the time the van was undrivable and y'all couldn't get your crap together to get it fixed so I could use it.....no, instead of the refund I was told I was going to receive, y'all are charging me $706.83????!!!???? And 750 miles? Are you insane!?!?!?!?!?! I drove from Taylor, Michigan to Farmington, MI twice.....TWICE! How in the name of all that is holy did y'all get 750 miles out of that!?!?!? Not to mention that the DAMN VAN WAS NOT DRIVABLE FOR TWO DAYS! I want someone to call me now ---- do not make me wait. I want this rectified immediately. I also want the resolution in writing. No more calling to 'tell me' how it will be resolved. Y'all have done that to me for the past three days and clearly, ti was all a bunch of crap! If this isn't resolved by this evening, rest assured that I am hiring an attorney. I own my own marketing agency and promise, I will make sure that my story is picked up by journalists and publicized. This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever experienced! Great service overall. I didn't care for the app only because my phone died and had to find a charger so I didn't get hit with the $20 return fee. Check engine light was on - I was not made aware. I went back in and told the staff, they told me someone stole the catalytic converter and it will be fine. This was a spur of the moment rental, because the rental my mom made in Jackson Michigan, got double booked, and she went to pick it up at 9am, and they sold it. There were no more units for rental for her. So I contacted the Taylor Michigan location and rented the last one they had. We needed at least a 15 foot with a ramp, and they didn't have it. So all they had was a 10 foot with no ramp. Very disappointed. No one seemed to care but the maintenance guy at the Taylor location. No apologies for the inconvenience and I was even charged for the 4 miles over, that I used to go back and forth when the check engine light was on. I went to return my rental at 1230am, was told to use the 24/7 return website, and it was not pulling up my rental. There was no text message link sent to my phone as promised and there was no reimbursement on my card as promised. My overall experience was terrible. At this point, I will never rent from uhaul again or I will never recommend uhaul to anyone. And furthermore, trying to reach anyone by phone is impossible!!! The Taylor office has all their calls forwarded to corporate, and corporate never answers, pulling you in hold for well over an hour, just to maybe get someone that can't do anything to help you. This was too expensive for what I have went through in the past 24 hours.AUDREY JO W.

Staff were very helpful in renting the truck. I tried to reserve it online but the dates and times I wanted it wouldn't line up with what the website said they had. Keep what was promised! The first rep. told us there would be a hold placed on our credit card until we returned & paid cash for our rental, when we arrived the rep said no it's on your credit card, we had to deal with her rude attitude until she could process a reversal. I work in customer service as well and would be let go if I treated customers like I was treated.JERRY G.

The Lady working the morning I came in was alone at the counter and the store got super busy, but she maintained her composure and treated each customer that I saw amazingly. That same lady, and the guy that got my trailer that I rented also helped me pick out everything that I needed. even though I should have brought it in for a pre inspection to sort all this out, they did not make me feel like I was inconveniencing them in any way. I am a manager of a retail store and pride myself on excellent customer service, so when I see it being done at places I do business I like to call it out. The truck was clean and looked totally fine. It drove terribly and the ignition kept getting stuck. It took me about 10 tries each time to get the ignition to turn. I felt like I was driving in wind gusts the whole time. It was just a super old and in bad condition drive wise truck. The people at the location were great though.STEFFI MARIE C.
The lady that helped me was amazing!!! The trailer was not ready when I showed up to pick it up, it was not returned on time. I waited around for about 20-30 min then she said she was going to give me $50 I guess it's a rental guarantee. She gave me a receipt showing they were giving me $50 but I have yet to see it. I would rate it higher as a lot of my experience was very pleasant. I didn’t however like the fact I was getting emails and phone calls for 8 months afterwards that I owe for a unit I had moved out of. When a worker had walked me to the unit I paid him an extra $10 to remove the one nightstand I left there because I didn’t know where to throw it out. And I was told I still had stuff in there and it took new management to walk up there 8 months later (which thank goodness I kept paperwork showing I paid my bill and I was out in January) to walk up there and realize I really was out and to stop charging me and sending me Lien notices and phone callsheather c. | Overall Experience

One of the staff members I worked with was great, so I didn’t want to say no to that question. Their name was Billie I believe? The main person I worked with (Her name escapes me) I had worked with before and she is extremely slow and seems like she does not want to be there. She said she had a headache, but I remember her being this way when I got a truck rental there before. The process is archaic. For my contact info, I needed to give 2 phone numbers to reach me. No one has a house phone anymore so I gave my boyfriend’s cell phone number. Then I was told I needed a secondary contact, so I use his name and told her it’s the same phone number I just gave. I’m then told I cannot have the same phone numbers, so I changed my second phone number to my dad, then needed to give my boyfriends address which was the same as mine and that wasn’t allowed. I had reserved a unit ahead of time thinking it would cut back my time, it took me literally 30 minutes to go through this process in person... it was extremely frustrating.Krystal S. | First Impressions
