It's been 3 days and I still haven't received my security deposit back. And I was told there were no issues. Also the cab was full of dog hair. They didn't do I very good job cleaning them out. Wiring harness I believe is faulty as I have hooked into 3 different trailers and I have no brake or turn signal lights. I called several days ago and no one has yet to call me back. Once called and if problem is fixed I'd rate location as above average and would recommendchad P.

The location itself is fineâ€¦.however they recently loses their amazing general manager Victoria and now they are painfully slow and the equipment is not well maintainedâ€¦.I've had a truck with a tire with an air leak I had to fill during a trip, truck eith a false check engine light and this rental was the worse the Sears in the truck were in horrible shape the engine panel cover in the cab was loose and worse if all a tire blew in the freeway and although I was only 4 miles from another uhaul location I had to wait almost 3 hours for roadside serviceâ€¦.Sherry S.

It started out great as usual (I've rented trucks for years). The next day on the rental, a low tire warning displayed on the dashboard. Our destination was in the middle of nowhere so air wasn't close by at all. We had to drive 20 minutes or more to get air in the tire every day, even driving to a uhaul location in northern Michigan and getting air. We drove home on Sunday and the truck was due back Monday morning (today). We woke up to a very low tire, had to wait for a neighbor with a air compressor to come air us up. The rental was an hour or so late. I let the woman who was running things at this location know that I tried calling them, no answer and was put on hold 10 minutes without any luck. So I dropped the truck off after airing the tire up and let them know about the tire and the girl manager basically accused me of the nail they found in the tire. On top of it, I let her know that I tried calling them directly and she said â€œyeah we let our calls go to corporate because they just had 30 returns. There was no activity in their store at all, except for me and another 2 returns leaving the store as I was arriving. So she lied. Wow. This is how you treat a long time customer (30ish years or so)? Multiple rentals and a manager lies to me to my face, telling me that nail wasn't there when I rented it? Give me a break! You were not busy at all and most likely, that nail was in there when I picked up the truck! I spent my 5 days airing up your faulty tire twice a day because your useless company you use doesn't answer? Because your employees who are being overworked right now have to lie to their customers? I don't recommend renting from this location or even uhaul any more.RICHARD JOSEPH M.
Reserved a Cargo Van. The passenger side seat was dirty, the passenger side door, window and windshield were covered in coffee splatters and there was what appeared to be grease/oil smeared on the passenger door window as well. After driving a cargo van for many years, I know that visibility is limited and the lines of sight that you do have should be maintained. I cleaned the windows which did not take long at all. Other than that, the employees were very helpful and friendly and we were in and out of there rather quickly.Donald F.

They put me down for 100 miles when I only use 70 miles and it still came out to be a 103 dollar when it should been 80 tops so they basically got me for 25 plus I full up the gas pass what I got when I pick it up it was on 3/8 I full it up to little pass 1/4 so that basically another 10 dollars they got me for so I lost 40 dollars u haulCALEB JOSEPH M.

This wasn't the location when I booked my reservations. Which is 16 miles from my house. Which is 12 mile more than where I originally made my reservations which made me pay for more mileage that was very much unexpected. Also I didn't receive a call 2 hours before my schedule pick up time. This is truly bad business and horrible customer service. You allowed me to reserve one for 7:30am pickup, and the store didn't open until 9am. I didn't receive the dolly or moving blankets I requested. Couldn't drive back, as I'd get charged for the miles and gas. Therefore I didn't have two major moving amenities. The good people that work at that location didn't give me any problem taking those charges off of my bill. Very dissatisfied with having to wake up two hours earlier than the store even opens. Also, online, make it more clear how long the rental is. I only had it for 5 hours, and I tried picking 8+. I had to rush, and didn't get everything moved. All in all, thankfully you guys somehow hired the good people at the Taylor MI location.SCOTT CLARK P.

Also, after finishing up at the counter, I received no further instructions. I guess I was expected to know what to do next. My reservation pickup location was changed from Ann Arbor, MI to Taylor, MI with one days notice. It would be good to know if the location may change a few days in advance so moving plans can be adjusted.Anthony G.

I paid for my truck in advance and didn't get anything back in return when I was under my mileage and time, I was also charged $2 more from the get go for no reason at all and they tried to tell me that credit's were applied back to my account but they were not. Maybe you should have to pay after the use of the tricks instead of after?Paige F.

The customer service here will make you not want to be bothered. I reserved online and it said I could skip the line and go to the side of the counter and pick up my key. The uhaul employee finished one person and went to the next person while i stood at the side of the counter waiting as if I might as well been in line. Then when she did help she said..."what are you getting" in such a nasty way. Made me never want to go back into that facility. My prior experience was fine but the employees on this last rental experience did not make me feel welcomed. Not when I returned it either. (I should say the guy that came and got the truck from me wasn't too friendly but the last lady that gave me my receipt was nice.)Sunite C.
An extremely rude lady left me a voicemail telling me I was late and my contract said if I was late something. I deleted the message because of her attitude. Traffic from my previous location delayed me about 16 minutes and she was all up in arms like it was her personal trailer Perhaps she could use some extra training in customer service. I’m a repeat customer of this U-Haul Moving and Storage facility in Taylor, MI. They have consistently provided me the highest quality of services. My most recent experience with them involved renting a storage room for home goods I was giving to family I have in Marion, OH and in Traverse City, MI. Being able to store items at the same location I could rent a trailer for moving these home goods was a game changer. The storage area was very secure and clean. Plus, the friendly staff were extremely helpful and effective in all of our business transactions. I could not be more pleased with the quality of service they provided me. I would rate it higher as a lot of my experience was very pleasant. I didn’t however like the fact I was getting emails and phone calls for 8 months afterwards that I owe for a unit I had moved out of. When a worker had walked me to the unit I paid him an extra $10 to remove the one nightstand I left there because I didn’t know where to throw it out. And I was told I still had stuff in there and it took new management to walk up there 8 months later (which thank goodness I kept paperwork showing I paid my bill and I was out in January) to walk up there and realize I really was out and to stop charging me and sending me Lien notices and phone callsheather c. | Overall Experience

One of the staff members I worked with was great, so I didn’t want to say no to that question. Their name was Billie I believe? The main person I worked with (Her name escapes me) I had worked with before and she is extremely slow and seems like she does not want to be there. She said she had a headache, but I remember her being this way when I got a truck rental there before. The process is archaic. For my contact info, I needed to give 2 phone numbers to reach me. No one has a house phone anymore so I gave my boyfriend’s cell phone number. Then I was told I needed a secondary contact, so I use his name and told her it’s the same phone number I just gave. I’m then told I cannot have the same phone numbers, so I changed my second phone number to my dad, then needed to give my boyfriends address which was the same as mine and that wasn’t allowed. I had reserved a unit ahead of time thinking it would cut back my time, it took me literally 30 minutes to go through this process in person... it was extremely frustrating.Krystal S. | First Impressions
