The woman at check-in did not put me at ease by explaining well. I had to form my own questions and still left with little confidence about payment, expectation, logistics and truck workings. The location had no ink for their printer. This same associate rolled her eyes and sighed at me when I didn't understand what was happening on card reader as it had to be manually "cleared". Someone needs to teach the employees not give away someone's rental van right in front of them! I rented online (touchless) to avoid people on purpose, only find that as I walked the lot searching for my reserved with a confirmation number van, the representative that I spoke to as I was searching the lot was walking out with another couple with the key to my locked van! I went inside to the manager before they drove away and he said that it was some type of glitch! Well that glitch cost me more miles which was more money I had to pay for my rental! He backed up the gas tank but when I was putting a little back in there I went over the amount anyway so I wasn't compensated at all for the situation. I have a Uhaul account for a reason but I was punished for using it because I ended up having to go inside to argue my valid point and to get a manually processed van heightening my chances of covid contact! The staff was helpful and courteous however the mobile pickup and drop off did not work as advertised. I had to go to the counter since the app didn't recognize any bar codes at pick up and for drop off the app didn't launch the camera to upload the instrument readings, e.g. gas and mileage. The truck also had an alignment issue that caused a terrible "death wobble" at speeds above 45 mph. This was a potentially dangerous vehicle and needs mechanical repairs.ERIC L.

Due to COVID related changes in pick-up procedures, someone should have let me know I should check for a "before you leave" e-mail. I was on the road a few hours right after leaving your location. By the time I saw the email, the items I was supposed to address via a link had already timed out (wouldn't let me access it). In the end it was not a problem, but just making a suggestion. Otherwise, a great experience. I always get good service there.Dana W.
Only complaint I have is that a customer was parked in the loading dock with her car. We could not park the uhaul to unload until all the cars moved. One female stayed parked in the loading dock the entire time we unloaded the truck so 4 hours. Regular cars should not be able to park in the designated areas that are just for the uhauls.Debra S.

The truck malfunctioned the whole way from Michigan to Florida. My left signal went out and did not come back on for hours, then went back out after a short time. The truck needed some updates for the long trip we took such as auxiliary port etc. The dolly was old and raggedy.DYONTE DELON F.

The staff were not so helpful when I needed an extra day to use the vehicle. I was told I needed to have the truck there in 15 minutes or I would be subject to some type of extra charges. Apparently another customer was coming to pick up a 20' truck. It didn't matter that I was still loading and 150 miles away! Eventually I was told my contract had been extended to the next day. By the way, it took 45 minutes to complete the return call. I received several messages from this facility, but did not listen to them as I was loading. When I called Uhaul, I was told my contract had been terminated, but the person could not tell me who or how that happened. When I returned the truck, no problems. on friday i tried to call and was literally on hold for over an hour. ended up nobody picked up. tried another location, same result except i didnt stay an hour. so i went to the uhaul office and explained what happened and your associate explained they do that when only one person working. i just happened to work close to that office but i was thinking how much business you lost at two locations because nobody could pick up a phonekevin H.
The truck that I rented had bad brakes and it also burn fuel very quickly I only received 8.6 miles to the gallon would suggest a tune up on the trucks also there was no cruise control for a move this far it would have helped and made it more relaxed. The staff Mark was there first thing in the morning and learned that the catalytic converters were removed from the 26-ft trucks. I happen to request or had a reservation for 26-ft vehicle I will switch to a 20-foot vehicle later learned that the one truck that was still available reservation had not been picked up I was then switched back to the 26-ft to unload it to 20 and gone with the 26 had it for basically 2 days the staff was very friendly and helpful as my move took more than 2 days. I sincerely appreciate the accommodations that was given and shown towards me Mark seen them in the only one there that morning and was very helpful He was in the front there was someone else there at the facility who drove the truck to the loading dock. I am truly blessed to have U-Haul Storage Units available when needed. I had 3 units and I was grateful that's they were all on the 1st floor. I do know I will be returning back later today to reutilize one of the available one's as we are currently in day 2 of the move and are not completely done. Make sure your employees know that when we as customers are told if we are back by 5:00 pm we will be helped with the return, they understand that. I arrived at 4:59 pm and was told I have to go online and check in my return. A little customer service goes a long way. Your staff definitely didn't show me any. And I would of been back sooner. I set my appointment for 11:00 am to pick up my trailer. Since there was only one representative at the desk. I didn't get my trailer until after 11:30 am. Then It took forever for the employee to come out and set me up with my trailer. Poor service.Juan D.

We brought the truck back after hours and the WIFI in Taylor is horrible. I couldn't upload the pictures that the I haul company needed. So because of that, I was charged an extra 20.00 and was not told that I would have to pay a 20.00 fee for someone to look at the truck the next day. I will never use Uhaul again. I was told when I called to make sure the trailer was scheduled I would get a discount because the person when I called a week prior didn't actually schedule my pickup. I never got the discount or even was offered one. The trailer had issues while I had it I wanted to drop it off at another U-haul because it had issues and they wouldn't let me. This is NOT FOR THIS LOCATION. But a review for the experience as a whole. I was a uhaul employee for 3 years and only saw the service side of uhauls terrible scheduling system. After being rescheduled 3 times in one day, and my final location not having my equipment, I finally understand the years of customer frustration, and it has pushed me to buy my own trailer. Will never use uhaul again. Thanks to the OUTSTANDING team at the Taylor MI location, they stayed open late for me to come and get a trailer they had just got in. The trailer was an older model orange AT, not a newer silver model, and the higher retaining rails and license plate mount hit my car as I was loading it up. I would rate it higher as a lot of my experience was very pleasant. I didn’t however like the fact I was getting emails and phone calls for 8 months afterwards that I owe for a unit I had moved out of. When a worker had walked me to the unit I paid him an extra $10 to remove the one nightstand I left there because I didn’t know where to throw it out. One of the staff members I worked with was great, so I didn’t want to say no to that question. Their name was Billie I believe? The main person I worked with (Her name escapes me) I had worked with before and she is extremely slow and seems like she does not want to be there. She said she had a headache, but I remember her being this way when I got a truck rental there before. The process is archaic. For my contact info, I needed to give 2 phone numbers to reach me. No one has a house phone anymore so I gave my boyfriend’s cell phone number. Then I was told I needed a secondary contact, so I use his name and told her it’s the same phone number I just gave. I’m then told I cannot have the same phone numbers, so I changed my second phone number to my dad, then needed to give my boyfriends address which was the same as mine and that wasn’t allowed. I had reserved a unit ahead of time thinking it would cut back my time, it took me literally 30 minutes to go through this process in person... it was extremely frustrating.Krystal S. | First Impressions
