Pickup: was fine except the app didn't work so I was unable to document prior damage to the back bumper. The clerk told me "Oh we already know about that" but I still would have liked to document to protect myself. Van: was fine, almost new (6000 mi) but the engine light was on. Dropoff: This is the reason I do not recommend this location. I was sitting in the lot 30 minutes before my scheduled dropoff time, reading the return instructions on my phone. All it said was to take a photo of where you parked the truck. It did not say (nor was I told at pickup) that you have to park behind the building. As I'm reading the instructions, an employee opened the passenger door (no mask on) and starts yelling at me "You can't park here!" I'm like, "Okay I'm reading the instructions right now." So in the dark and pouring rain I reluctantly move the van to the back of the building. There is no one around so I drop the key in the drop box. As I'm walking back to my car the same employee yells at me AGAIN. "I thought you were returning a van? Where is the key?" I said it's in the drop box. He kept mumbling and complaining as I walked back to my car. The instructions on the app do not match what the employees want you to do, and you get yelled at for it, which is super fun after a long day of moving in the pouring rain.

I moved from NH to NC. Each step of the process required speaking with a different office. It would have been nice to be able to call one person and get all of the information I needed. There were 2 phone calls that resulted in being told that the systems were down and there was nothing they could do for me. Ok, but the person in the other end sounded like a bratty 14 year old girl.....The drop offs and pick ups were easy and the drivers were very friendly.

This location is easy access, almost always have the equipment I need, and great hours. The only thing that could make it better would be more staff during busy times.

My only complaint is that the lift gate isn't as wide as the trailer. GM was very nice to me. Got me in and out in under 20 minutes on pickup and return. Had a smile the whole time. Stinks idiots think a 3500 lb trailer needs a forklift

The breaks were awful. Made an awful noise every time I used them. The power steering needs to be checked. Didn't feel safe driving on highway so needed to take longer route due to the poor condition of the truck.

Improve the "prove ability" of check out or return. Just dropping it off and leaving feels like it's missing some kind of proof. Or am I still getting charged? or what if the trailer i just rented is stolen the night I dropped it off? Just a method of proof and/or a receipt of some sorts that the deal is over and done, The service was fantastic.

The location itself makes quality was not the issue I had with uhaul this time. I had reserved a truck to pick up in waterboro and drop off in saco. I wasn't made aware until the day before that there was no trucks available in waterboro for pick up which left me scrambling to figure out how I was going to move the next day. The only option I had because of who was driving the uhaul for me, was to pick up and drop off in Rochester. Which cost me over a 100 more than it should have but there was no other option. I am highly disappointed in uhaul and based off this experience I don't think I could recommend their services.

Felt like i was rushed when drop off truck and waste of there time. When I droped the truck off was told to leave the key in the door and they would email the receipt. I dropped it off one hour before it was do back. When i got the copy of my receipt the next morning I was charged for an extra day. The said it will take 3 days to get my money back. And because of this now my account went negative. I am very unhappy with uhaul.

Lower your prices, cost me a little over $100 to rent a uhaul for 2 hours go drive 48 miles total and had to put 8.1 gal of gas which was $18...

I had the U-Haul for an hour and fifteen minutes and drove 8 miles in Rochester to get a couch home I had purchased from big lots in Rochester to my house in Rochester. When I got my receipt after I had dropped the truck off I was charged for 46 miles and $14 dollars worth of gas. I wasn't told about the link I'd get via text to “check the truck” and didn't see the text until I was in the middle of moving my couches which I quickly went through the steps since it said I had to have it done before I left the lot (which I already had). I didn't feel as though I had to take picture of the mileage nor did it tell me to since I didn't expect to have such an overcharge to my account for only driving eight miles. I went back to uhaul and explained to the associate that I did not drive 46 miles in the hour and fifteen minutes I had the truck and that someone had Messed up logging the mileage before me. I was asked several times if I had pictures of the mileage before I left which I then Challenged back Saying the link should have instructed me to take photos and that nobody told me to follow the link prior to me leaving. I also said that it is physically impossible for me to have done 46 miles in the time I had the truck, get my couch, and move it in. The other thing is when I left I had 3/8 of a tank and returned it with 1/4 of a tank and was charged for $14 dollars worth of gas, which I was told it was $4 a gallon. So I was charged for 3.5 gallons to get it back to 3/8 of a tank. To me it seems like the incorrect truck was checked in or out under my account. I'm also frustrated I have to come back on Monday and take time out of my work schedule to get this sorted out.

When I got there I had to wait 25 minutes to get helped and there was no one in line. Once I was finally helped, it took about 2 minutes. I wish the guy just took a break from what he was doing to help me or wish there was someone else there working because I was sort of in a hurry and I showed up at my pick up time.

Had to go back inside to inquire on NOT having a full tank of gas when contract said it did. Had to ask for the text AGAIN with link to change it as first one never sent Added stress and time to stressful move that didn't need to happen. Drop off was uneventful however.

You did not have the truck I ordered in stock and they U-boxes were not ready for us at the time promised, even though I called to confirm the day before. Very understaffed as well.
