The manager, and the csrs Behind the counter, who were on duty Saturday morning were awful. Our customer service policy is, â€œHere it is!â€, not â€œhow it is.â€ The woman we interacted with in traffic is insufficient as well. After not having the requested equipment, I was subbed into a tm. The first one the battery was dead and it only had1/16 tank of gas, but the battery was dead so it wouldn't start anyway. They gave me another truck and was disgustingly dirty. I have pics I'll put on the contract later. I rent all over the country and this has been the most disappointing mco the past couple years. While this particular location was OK, I am very angry at U-Haul in general. My reservation was changed from my original location to this new one and I was not notified. This was an extreme inconvenience the morning of the big move. I understand that locations may need to be switched due to truck availability, but not being notified by it (I double checked my texts, voicemails, email - nothing) is absolutely unacceptable. It is extremely unlikely that I will be renting from U-Haul again.Kurt D.

I felt one of the representatives (Big Guy) was not friendly, sort of rude. There were two other representatives who are friendly and helped me in every possible way. The store was okay ish. The storage had stains on the wall and there was no lights inside when I needed to access my unit at night. They also confused my storage unit with someone else’s. They had canceled the other persons storage and did mine by accident, and in doing so they had to change my pay day since they had to reapply me for my unit. Don't agree with adding 6.00 dollars on my bill filled it up before dropping it off and they should let customers know if dropping off after hrs to be aware of the road closer because I had to go all the way back around to get in to the place to drop off the truckDEBARAH M.

I've done business with Uhual for 20 years. How you treat your customers tells me a lot about uhaul. I'll be buying my own truck moving forward so I don't have to rely on this company ever again. The air conditioner only worked about 15% of the time, you could hear it but nothing came out of the vents. They said it was coming out of the vents above for defrosting. That doesn't help when it is 94 out. When I returned it and the guy was checking the odometer, he closed the door and sped off to pull it around to around to the front door. My husband had the back door open and was removing blankets, a dolly and things from the back. I started yelling for him to stop!!! He had to have seen this when he walked up to the truck! Extremely foolish, good thing my husband wasn't in the back of it!Marjorie F.
First, starting they didn't help at all with the fact I came from another location and that location I first went to said it'd be the same price after talking to the York street location. Didnt try to reduce the price in any way or work with me after I said I was told the price would remain the same. Just said â€œyea well it's not the same price. So did you want to do that or not I can send you somewhere elseâ€ Secondly, Paul the person helping me was talking to another employee for about 2 minutes while I was trying to get my truck and go after already having to pay a price that I had no choice but paying, leaving me there to just listen to him go back and forth with his employee (that he was speaking down to & like his employee was a child) Third, all while trying to get my stuff and get the hell out of this location. Another guest comes in apparently knowing Paul and they start talking while I'm at the counter supposedly being helped. They're conversing over me and then paul proceeded to tell this guest about how bad the before said employee was and how he's a slow learner. Lastly, when I came back to drop off the truck I was only greeted by a dry toned â€œdrop offâ€ as the employee walks away and doesn't say anything and comes back and just asks if I want a receipt. Doesn't go over the price back to me or anything. Super unprofessional & full of arrogance at this place.Azyah M.

Stop accepting truck reservations and cancelling them the day before. Moving is not a flexible activity that can be rescheduled on a 12 hour notice. Thankfully this location had a truck available, even if it was too small. The amount of headache Uhaul caused on this move by telling me the truck I already paid for wouldn't be available the day before I moved will definitely make me rent from someone else next time, even if I have to pay more.John P.

The manager was helpful and kind, but the employees were very poor on the customer service side. The man helping me at the counter walked away during our interaction more than once, including walking away to check out the lunch that was delivered to the crew, which I found very rude and inconsiderate. Once outside, he walked away several times without saying anything, leaving us confused on whether or not we were good to go. Additionally, in front of me (a female customer), he was openly discussing how women are "monsters that may kill you on their period." I found this very inappropriate and extremely disrespectful, and it made me feel unwelcomed as a woman renting from uHaul. I wish I knew the name of the employee, but I unfortunately do not. Just ask him about his girlfriends period and you should be able to figure it out. The trailer we were originally given had a wiring issue, but the manager set us up with another one and we appreciated his help.rhiannon R.

I personally filled up gas to your standards before I dropped it off. Thr location is having street work I parked the truck to the best place possible. Your workers drove the truck to the point the gas was under your policy I got charged money I should never have got charged. The gas gauge reading upon drop off was incorrectly noted onto my bill by the Uhaal Associate, and I was charged $30 in gas charges that were not valid. I brought the truck back with the correct amount of gas per the contract and for this reason I will not patronize this location, or recommend it to a friend.Jamie A.

The hours to get into storage ith a remote for 24 hour access was a bit pressing on time for me. I could not afford th remote so I hd to clear out the storage in a rushed manner because of thelimited time available after work. Everything was great until we moved out. We found out the storage until must have had some leaks so some of our stuff was water damaged. It wasn’t anything of high value but kind of ruins the valve of storage when you pull your thing out of storage and they are damaged. Also the light in the storage unit did not work. Not a major deal A also but for $150 a month you would expect a dry well let place. Our 26 ft rental truck broke down on our way to U-Haul Moving & Storage Of The Mile High City. When we got towed there, everyone was very understanding of our situation and helped us come up with a plan that worked for us. We were able to move all of our items from the rental truck into one of their storage units with no problems.
