Just the truck had a little noice probably need maintenance not to be responsible but other then that everything excellent above expectations great customer service and awesome tools definitely recommend everyone!

Moving is supposed to be a happy time a little stressful especially at this time. This was my first time renting from uhaul. I took pictures which I thought I was going to be able to upload. My movers where waiting on me. So when I was at my residence I really started to notice the problems. This van had evidence tape on the doors. There was finger print dust over the van. This van was part of some type of crime and just got taken out of the impound from what I gathered. The van mats were rolled up on the side which should have been on the floor of the truck. There was glass in the back of the van.I found paraphernalia in the back of the van. This was a bad experience.The van was obviously not clean or sanitized. Which is unacceptable especially in these times!!

Both location I rented a trailer from need to be cleaned when I was hooking up the trailer. Last time it was construction debris this time it was soap maybe a quart of this liquid which was very slippery and dangerous. CLEAN THEM BEFORE THE CUSTOMER ARRIVS TO PICK UP THE UNITS. I was also delayed while it was cleaned.

The associate didn't explain the charges in depth and when it was explained it didn't make any sense. Quite frustrating to continuously ask and get the same response without quite understanding but overall the trailer rented was great!

On 11/1/20 I rented a truck, I parked the trucked on the loading zone and put the hazard light on. After 1 1/2 hour, I've tried to start the truck but truck did not start due to battery was dead. We tried to contact the office numerous times and was on hold for at least 1 hour, no answer, so we decided to find help which we got lucky/very good samaritan who helped us jumped/series the truck. This is the reason why I returned it late at 3:09pm as I'm supposed to return the truck at 3:00 pm. We advised the employee when we returned the truck to check their records as the battery needs to be replaced as I don't want the next customer to have the same incident or experience as it was not convenient. I am requesting some type of discount due to inconvenience and aggravation this has caused. I expect a reply from your company. Thank you.

After returning the uhaul truck on Wednesday, I signed the paperwork that I did return it and I was informed that they will refund my money back on my card the difference on the mileage that I used which is $17+ and some change. Until now I have not received that refund yet. Where is my refund?

Total bait and switch. Buyer beware. Your reserve a truck and it says it is available and agreed upon price online. Then the night before your pickup, when you can't possibly rent from someone else, they call you and tell you they can't honor the rental. They give you the $50 guarantee for not honoring their rental. So what. The new rental is $150 after the $50 guarantee. Total bait and switch when you are most vulnerable, the day before you absolutely meet the truck!! So don't trust at all the online booking tool!

Extra gas on return was not reimbursed. While talking the vehicle i was told extra gas will be reimbursed and shortage will be billed. But while return they said the company policy is not to reimburse the gas and I may have misunderstood it.

Had a smooth experience all the way from booking to handing the keys back. Dinging them by 1 star for the vehicle itself, a 17-ft truck, which absolutely needs to be retired. it struggles to accelerate and the wheel alignment seems to be off. the steering wheel needs to be kept turned by about 5 degrees to actually travel straight. It absolutely needs to be retired!

I do not like that the employees take a picture of my driver's license with their personal phone. This is a major identity theft concern. Why doesn't the computer have a camera attached for this process? There is no excuse for uhaul to require employees to use their personal phones to take pictures of client's sensitive personal information.

The steering wheel and the seat were super sticky gross. The shook absorbers were out. We were bouncing in the truck. Good thing we strapped the items down in back. Otherwise, every would be jumping up and down in the back. My moving trip was 20 miles each way. We could NOT wait to return truck. $19.99 + addition cost per mile + gas cost + addition fees. Not worth it!

Building wasn't always unlocked near the beginning of access hours. Automatic lights go off too quickly i.e. when doing work in the storage unit. This requires waving out in the hall to turn it back on but it's still a bit of a challenge because it can get down to near total darkness. If there were a dial timer to keep the lights on this would be a lot easier.

Had the same staff person checking in for a unit and checking out. He was slow moving and glum. Other staff didn't seem any better, as I was observing while waiting. The storeroom area smelled strongly of pesticides and ?marijuana. People looking for day jobs were wandering in the back area as they could walk in the security gate when open. 30 days was free, but no desire to renew!

Great storage, can be reserved ahead of the time which is recommended. Otherwise, the storage room may be on the second floor and far away from the entrance door. The staff was helpful.
