I waited almost 10 minutes for an employee to come to the counter. Walked into the store and there was no one there. Finally someone came in with an attitude like I was bothering him. Also purchased 2 mattress covers and was never given them. Had to go back to the store to pick them up and again waited for someone to come in. I walked all the way around the building this time and found no one. Waited in the store a few more minutes until he came in from somewhere. The truck was awful. It was dirty and I thought the engine was going to drop. This poor truck. Not well maintained.Jennifer F.

Went to rent a trailer at main st location and had a terrible experience and ended up going to 2843 kenmore and had no issues,i wouldn't recommend main st location to anyone!Rasson H.

My reservation was made and confirmed for a pick up on 9/16 at your 2355 Elmwood Ave location. I was told the cargo van I reserved could be picked up as early as 7am. Upon arriving at the pick up location at 9am I found out the location was closed for no apparent reason and the cargo van I had reserved (which was filthy and parked next to the building) could not be rented as there was nobody available to give me the keys. Every time I deal with your company it's always somethingâ€¦ fantastic business model, horrible execution, every time.James F.

First of all my schedule pick up time was 8am (I have email verification) the store didn't open until 9am so I had to wait around for an hour before I could get my uhaul. Why would you offer an 8am pick up time when the store isn't even open? I was suppose to get a $50 refund for your guaranteed reservation. I never got that refund. Secondly the uhaul was given to me with less then a quarter tank of gas. The gas light turned on 15 minutes down the road. Then I drop my uhaul off and I get charged a $93 fuel fee?? I returned my uhaul with the same amount of gas it was given to me with. Which is what I was told to do. At this point I should be refunded all of my money for this terrible experience I've had.jacqueline C.

The vehicle smelled like smoke and the self check in didn't work. After going inside, the worker was miserable and extremely slow. He made it clear with his tone and actions that he hated his job and didn't want to be there. What should have taken 10 minutes max took 45 minutes to get our vehicle and leaveâ€¦ and that is with me setting everything up online the night beforeBrad E.

Repair the trucks before renting g them out. I couldn't travel on the NY 90 because the truck wouldn't go over 54. It cost me more than it was worth. Although the Cab was clean the truck was less than adequate and had less than a half tank of gas.. wasn't happy.Daniel K.

I was told no vans were available when there was 4 available and I should have ordered online. I told the clerk that we went online and it said they had no vans available he said they were all spoken for. So I want on my cell phone to order one and then he told me he could give me one for the day. It seemed like I was bothering him to check me in. I thought you where in the business to rent me a vehicle whether I ordered it on line or came to your retail location to get it.James C.

I completed a self return, as this is an easy way to return during or after hours. A representative met me in the return lane for assistance, however. Although my interaction was minimal, I appreciate being checked on to see if I needed assistance.John W.
Went to two different locations, neither had what I originally reserved. And then I received a rude call from a gentleman asking about the return when I already had approval to return the vehicle after hours, as late as 10pm. It was returned by 9. Overall horrible experience with uhaul.Jacquelyn J.

Returned the truck with the appropriate amount of gas, Have the receipt for it. Got an email shortly later stating $42 gas charge. Drove 28 miles, $42 in gas is way beyond that. The 2 gentleman working were rudd, they had their small children with them at work running around.Nicole S.

I made a reservation (#24519507) at the Eggert/Niagara Falls Blvd location on July 1st. Got there, and the trailer that was reserved for me was given out to another customer, and I had no trailer. The staff called the Kenmore group, and luckily they had the size I reserved. TOTALLY disapointed!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And for the aggravation and time having to drive to a further location, I was miffed! And, to top if off, I had to say something to the rep at Kenmore Ave about taking something off for all the trouble, and he said would $4 dollars do. Not even the cost of a gallon of Gas. Very disappointed with the service!!!John C.

The van I rented had a very lumpy floor which made transporting a large tv very tricky. Also it had a shorter back opening than some other u-haul cargo vans which made getting the TV in more difficult as well. The location and service were fine but I wouldn't recommend that particular van to anyone moving larger or fragile items.William H.

The in store employees and managers were excellent. What I'm very upset about is the fact that the reservation line was wrong. They told me my transport was there and it was not. The store employees then called the corporate office to try to fix it and I waited for 2 hours. Finally I called myself and found a transport at another location. All the while the employee was still waiting for corporate to call them back. As I said, in store staff was excellent. Your corporate call center people are terrible. So, my experience was awful. My day was 5 hours late so by the time I got to my destination, there was no one to help me. I will never trust your reservation service again.LORAINE O.
