Dan KI showed up for my scheduled appt (I had an email to prove it) at the U-Haul location Sheridan Drive at 11 am. They informed me that I had to go to the kwnmore ave location because they had nobody to do the hitch. I showed up at the kenmotw ave location and they said I missed my 10 am appt. I never got notified that I had a 10 am appt at that location!!!! By this time it was 11:30 and Ryan said he had a 12 noon appt and he would try to fit me at 3 pm hopefully. It turned out that the 12 noon appt let me go first and Ryan installed the hitch and it was done by about 1:30. Ryan was extremely nice and professional. It was not his fault that I was not notified of the change in location and time. You should look into why this happened.

sheryl bThey called me to tell me They forgot the appliance dolly. I had to drive back to pick it up. Causing me undue expense, added 14 miles to thy travel expense. Plus gas. I calculate that at about $17. This does not includ the inconvenience and scedule disruption. Strange thing is I was standing there when the guy at the counter have a worker the keys to bring the truck around and to put a dollie in it.

Daniel WI rented a 15' truck and found the experience with the app and pick up was pleasant. I then traveled 6 miles to my location loaded the truck then drove to destination. After unloading first load and attempting to return to location the truck would not start. This was quite late in the evening after an extremely long day and a very unpleasant experience as our move was interrupted. I had attempted to contact U-Haul and was unsuccessful at my first attempt. My girlfriend and I had woke up the next morning and went out to the truck I attempted to start it and it did, so we packed and unloaded the remaining loads and returned the truck immediately after we were finished. If it wasn't for our loss of working time, the truck would have been returned on time as we would have finished our trips if it didn't fail to startI. had placed this call many times however my phone call was routed to an automated callback it had called me back but as soon as I had answered the call it had hung up on me. I made two more attempts to contact after that and was rerouted stating I would receive a call back, with no way to leave a message Not only was inconvenienced by my move being interrupted, I was then unable to reach anyone for support when I had an issue with the tuck, then U-Haul attempted to charge me for their own failures which were already an extreme inconvenience to me. I was also already charged for 50 miles use, when I initially reported the trip would be approximately 20 miles, and it only turned out to be about 10 miles traveling.

Kathy TThat trailer was NOT clean & probably still isn't as the attendant didn't check it when I returned it. I am at fault for not checking it before I pulled off but it's not something I've had to do in past rentals. The sand/dust got on the furniture and our clothes. I'm quite annoyed but I had to "keep it movin..." and complete my task at hand. I was too tired to complain about it last night. Once disconnect, the attendant and I parted ways when he went inside.so I know it's still dirty for the next customer. I'd like a refund because I now have added tasks of cleaning.

sue cWhile the staff was helpful and polite I was extremely unhappy with the management. I had reserved a trailer at the Niagara Falls location, and received a call about 2 hours before I was supposed to pick it up I was called and told the previous renter had extended. They said apologized and said they had made arrangements with the Tonawanda location. I had made arrangements with Niagara Falls that since I was leaving the next morning at 4:30am and couldn't pick the trailer up then if I picked it up at the end of the day on 1/21 and returned it at 7am on 1/23 they would only charge.me 1 day rent. When I picked up the trailer in Tonawanda they were unaware of this arrangement. One of the employees called the manager to see if he would honor the arrangement and was told no. The morning of 1/22 (while I was on the road) I called the Niagara Falls location and explained. John called the Tonawanda location to see if he would be able to obtain our agreed on arrangement and was declined. I had other options available that would have cost me nothing, but would have inconvenienced friends. To me paying the original agreed on price of about $38 was worth it. However having to pay $75 would have changed my mind. I will never use the Tonawanda location for anything EVER again. I will say John at the Niagara Falls location did offer me a credit to offset the additional cost, which he didn't have to do. Perhaps the Tonawanda manager should take a few pointers from him.

Grady R | Online Move InI rent from Uhaul all the time. The price of the trailer was 1200 plus of which I normally pay 100-300. Unfortunately, I won’t be using uhaul in New York again as that is taking advantage of customers. I was told I would get a 10% discount at least and the guy said sorry when we picked up the trailer. I had a trailer from Boston 116.00 but my mom and brother and sister and then my husband ended up in the hospital so I had to out my stuff in storage for a month. This is what price they wanted for rental $1200 plus.That is disgusting. I am retired, I only have social security of which is not a lot to live on. I do have to say the staff at military road uhaul though in Niagara Falls very nice.

Jeff BUpon returning my rental the staff member that assisted me was not welcoming at all. When I asked him a question, he appeared annoyed by my question, then he ended up placing the incorrect time for my return, causing me to be charged an additional day. I returned the rental at a few minutes after 7:00 am on 11/20/23 and he placed that I returned it at 6:15 pm. I did call customer service. they fixed the issue immediately. If it were not for the individual at my return, the overall rating would be excellent.

Timothy SA reservation was made via computer and a call was made to UHAUL and in less than 10 minutes everything was confirmed for a 26' truck for 5:00 P.M. on the same day. Everything went very smoothly when we picked up the truck, and received information we asked about. On the day the truck was returned, it took less than 5 minutes and we were on our way home.. The staff was welcoming, friendly and professional throughout the process. I would highly recommend, this location on Kenmore near Sheridan to rent a truck.
