I ordered (2) 20ft Uhauls and when I arrived at the location I was informed that they only had a reservation for one U-Haul in the system under my name and that someone cancelled my other truck without notifying me in any way. The location did not have any other trucks available for my time frame that weekend so I spent the next three hours with customer service trying to find a location that had a truck available in my area. I would not recommend this location or visit this location again because you cannot guarantee that even if you made a reservation that it will be there when you show up.Justin M.

When renting a truck from a specific location and getting a call 2 hours prior to pickup letting me know that truck won't be available anymore is the first problem. Then sending me to another location which was 7 miles out of the way that I needed to be is another problem. I asked for a discount for the mileage because I had to add almost 15 miles to my trip now. The manager at the first location said that wouldn't be a problem, however, at the second location that manager gave me a problem with the discount. He then said he would give me a 10% discount to compensate the mileage. I checked my receipt and he did not give me the discount for the extra mileage! I should not have to go through all this hassle just for a discount on extra mileage that wasn't caused on my end of this!!Lamont M.

The only thing was I wish that I could have gotten the trailer a little closer and I Lockport ny had to travel 4 30min to Tondawanda ny to pick it up you guys used to take them to a closer to where I live other than that it was a good experienceRichard C.
Still the quickest, least expensive, and simplest way to rent a utility vehicle. This is still one of the handiest ways to move locally, with the smallest amount of hassle. As well, anything attached to a move is met by a uhaul facility. Thank you.WILLIAM B.

Maintain your fleet. Received two different trucks with low tires. 2nd truck also was overdue for oil change. Truck was filthy & both rear tires were bald, 1/32 of tread left in the center of the tires. I also got pulled over by a state trooper for having a drivers rear turn signal bulb out! After not getting much satisfaction from location manager, who told me there weren't any safety concerns. I called national and was given regional managers name and number. Called left messages and have not received a call back after 3 days. I think I will post photos of the condition of the truck I received as a rental on social media and contact the state DMV about the poor upkeep on the rental trucks.Alan Z.
Not overcharge for fuel, I returned it at 1/4 tank, as that's what it was when I got it, they charged me for 23 additional gallons. Still waiting for my account to be credited. It caused an overdraft and they didn't care at ALL!! Never again!!!Nadine S.

Let's see we received the truck with 8 miles to empty, told we would be reimbursed but haven't been, turn signal was out on passenger front, windows were dirty on the inside. It did smell clean and was comfortable but simple maintenance is neededJeffrey M.
Don't overcharge. I set the level on the return at 7/8ths full. There was actually more gas left in the tank than that. Your app glitched and indicated I left it under a quarter of a tank. I was charged an additional $115.00. I disputed this on the turn in, and yet the charges are still pending on my credit card. Last U-haul I will ever rent. Will advise others not to rent either.Andrew J.

The u-haul did not have proper recorded mileage. It was listed as 137110 but when I got it to my house it showed as 137171 and I only live 5 miles from the location. Unfortunately I did not catch the mistake and was overcharged on my bill. I called several times and sent an email the General Manager called once at 7:30am which I was busy with my daughter and could not answer. He left no voicemail or call back and has not returned calls since. Complete scam artist and I will never use U-haul again. Pricing was great but I will pay more for a company that doesn't try to scam people and never resolve the issue. I hope this is read but it will most likely be filed away and this location will continue to improperly document their mileage.Dennis S.

The trailer was defective. The door was mis-aligned and would open on 10 inches. I had to squeeze in and open the door from the inside. I had to pack the trailer with small boxes at the end so I could remove them in the 10 inch high space and crawl in to again open the trailer door from the inside. It took an hour for the guy to process my pre-arranged rental. He had never seen an out-of-state driver license and started over repeatedly until I checked in online using my phone.Dennis S.

Hire staff who, when a customer comes in the store, are not leaning back in their chairs with their attention securely set to their cell phones and who do not give the impression we are bothering them with requesting a rental. I waited almost 10 minutes for an employee to come to the counter. Walked into the store and there was no one there. Finally someone came in with an attitude like I was bothering him. Also purchased 2 mattress covers and was never given them. Had to go back to the store to pick them up and again waited for someone to come in. I walked all the way around the building this time and found no one. Waited in the store a few more minutes until he came in from somewhere. The truck was awful. My reservation was made and confirmed for a pick up on 9/16 at your 2355 Elmwood Ave location. I was told the cargo van I reserved could be picked up as early as 7am. Upon arriving at the pick up location at 9am I found out the location was closed for no apparent reason and the cargo van I had reserved (which was filthy and parked next to the building) could not be rented as there was nobody available to give me the keys. Every time I deal with your company it's always somethingâ€¦ fantastic business model, horrible execution, every time.James F.

First of all my schedule pick up time was 8am (I have email verification) the store didn't open until 9am so I had to wait around for an hour before I could get my uhaul. Why would you offer an 8am pick up time when the store isn't even open? I was suppose to get a $50 refund for your guaranteed reservation. I never got that refund. Secondly the uhaul was given to me with less then a quarter tank of gas. The gas light turned on 15 minutes down the road. Then I drop my uhaul off and I get charged a $93 fuel fee?? I returned my uhaul with the same amount of gas it was given to me with. Which is what I was told to do. At this point I should be refunded all of my money for this terrible experience I've had.jacqueline C.

The vehicle smelled like smoke and the self check in didn't work. After going inside, the worker was miserable and extremely slow. He made it clear with his tone and actions that he hated his job and didn't want to be there. What should have taken 10 minutes max took 45 minutes to get our vehicle and leaveâ€¦ and that is with me setting everything up online the night beforeBrad E.

Repair the trucks before renting g them out. I couldn't travel on the NY 90 because the truck wouldn't go over 54. It cost me more than it was worth. Although the Cab was clean the truck was less than adequate and had less than a half tank of gas.. wasn't happy.Daniel K.

I was told no vans were available when there was 4 available and I should have ordered online. I told the clerk that we went online and it said they had no vans available he said they were all spoken for. So I want on my cell phone to order one and then he told me he could give me one for the day. It seemed like I was bothering him to check me in. I thought you where in the business to rent me a vehicle whether I ordered it on line or came to your retail location to get it.James C.
