Online reservation showed a appliance dolly and 15' truck at ecomart location. When arrived at ecomart, both were unavailable. after speaking with UHaul representatives and assuring me they had both items needed, sent me to this location. They didnt have a truck readily available nor did they have any dollies. They were able to find one for me. The representatives from this location accommodated my inconvenience and found me a truck. I rented a 6x12 trailer and the rails to attach tie downs to were in rough shape. On one side (lower) was a wood rail that was easy to attach ratchet straps to. Both opposite side and the other upper were narrow wood strips with small slits to slip a rope through which I needed to fashion a bunch of loops to secure the load. Would be nice to have the rails throughout to secure the load.michael B.

The truck was ok for very short moves. I definitely wouldn't load it to its maximum capacity. It had 149,000 miles on it and it showed. The steering was not only loose it had a "dead spot" in the steering where it felt unsafe above 40 mph. I would have stopped what I was doing and switched trucks however it wasn't an issue I haven't dealt with before with other vehicles. The employee that assisted me was great. Made picking up the truck very easy. I will rent from this location again and again because the staff is always top notch.Robert H.

After the customer service line set me up with a 17ft truck that was over booked, I almost was not able to make it to my new home but the guys here moved heaven and earth to make sure I had a truck with in a hours time. I am forever grateful to them. But the customer services line has no idea what they are doing. I was told my contract would be emailed to me and handed the keys and left. After moving I re-fueled at 8.00am and have the receipt and dropped the truck off at 8.15 am because I said I would have it back by 8.30. The next day I received a receipt with a extra $52.30 re-fueling charge. When I pulled out out of the lot the fuel tank was above half which the amount was never told to me, he said return with the same amount of gas. Which by the chart on the emailed contract is 12. I re- fueled to the same amount.I Was charged $52.30 saying the truck had 13/16. I had nothing to show or compare how much fuel was in the truck until after I returned the truck and got the email. At least I should of been told how much gas was supposing was in there so I could walk back in and dispute it. The email doesn't help when I got it the next day when internet was turned on. They rented me a broken truck, it broke down on the side of the road less than 15 miles from location. I was then stranded on the side of the road for 5 hours waiting for uhauls roadside assistance. And once I got back to this "location" the manager told me it was MY fault he rented me a broken truck. Unbelievably horrible experience. And then charged me over $40 above quoted price. No apology. I had to remind the customer service person that I was renting furniture pads because they did not have them ready in the truck. A major concern for me was all the tires were under inflated by about 20psi. I checked these when I came home to my residence and I had to spend my own money to fill these to the proper pressure. My trip was 700 miles and I needed to ensure my family was safe and we got the best gas mileage possible. The tires should have been checked before renting it out.bryan P.

The local U-Haul location was great but the customer service on the national rental number sucked. Nobody seemed to give a shit about my concerns. I was promised a trailer at a particular location and in the end ..... I had to put on an additional 90 miles on my trip to pick up and drop off. That trailer should have been brought to the location I reserved it at. Bottom line is ... I was forced to rent this trailer an extra day and I was told that there is no way possible to comp me the extra day for the inconvenience. It is also stupid when I dial a local number that I was not able to actually talk to someone at that location. Once again, your customer service SUCKSRichard C.

Horribly understaffed. I reserved a 17 ft truck to be picked up at the Niagara Falls Blvd location. U-Haul switched my pickup to Kenmore Ave. More miles = $$ for U-Haul. Then of course, the 17 foot truck was "not available" and they only had a 15 ft truck for the same price as the larger truck. What? Yeah. 2nd time U-Haul has switched it up after a confirmed reservation. Not cool. No bueno. Do not recommend.Kyle T.

Every time I rent they add the extra cost for use of the dolly and blankets from which I don't use. I have to call every time the following day to have these fees removed. And every time I call to do this I am on hold for 35-45 minutes. There is no direct number to the location so staying on hold is the only option.Robert H.
