I was charged an extra 65 dollars! I had my uhaul back in time within my mileage! This is ridiculous! I'll never ever use uhaul again!

THOMASJOHN S.Well I noticed that I was charged extra for extra mileage which is wrong. I received a phone call to verify my rental and was informed that my pickup point had been changed by 20 miles away which is exactly the amount of extra mileage I was charged, so that was very upsetting!

Michael M.the guy working there was busy, but great. He was alone and did a good job getting me on the road.. The pickup truck I drove for 350 miles was filthy ..I stopped and bought some wipes to clean the sticky steering wheel and interior door handles... The windshield looked like someone sneezed on it a few times a week ago.... need to hire someone to clean these vehicles out, the windows and vacuum them out once in a while. Average rating because that's how they all look when I rent them.

Sherrill Q.I ordered a 26' truck 4 or 5 days early got confirmation email for equipment and location. A little later I got an email changing my pickup location further away. I called since it's a dollar a Mile charge I wanted to see what cam be done, the store told me that the 585 dispatch number can discount the service etc and had me call them which I did. I spoke with the dispatch office they said nothing could be done and the location lied to me however while we were on the phone they had a 26' truck cancel and I was now all set at the original location with everything. On moving day I went to the location they told me that I have a 20' truck saved and not a 26'... we were not happy it wasn't what we reserved and were about to walk away when the manager then lowered the milage cost ( wich the dispatch said wasn't possible). While loading the truck the handle on the door got stuck inside the top of tge truck not allowing the door to close so I had to call roadside assistance. They told me that I had to fix the truck ( I didn't know that I worked for Uhaul) and sent me a video to do so. I ended up wasting almost an hour of time where everyone was sitting around waiting 11 people doing nothing, labor isn't cheap. After we fixed the truck ourselves everything else seemed to be..OK... luckily the Check engine light came on when I arrived at the Uhaul drop off location.

Dr. Gerard W.I don't know why it takes 30 minutes to get cashed out to rent a trailer when you fill all the information out online.. Also the app sucks when you return your rental. There was 8 people in line which is easily an hour and a 1/2 wait so I dropped the trailer off and logged in to your website and it doesn't even give me an option to return it it should be super simple. There should be a huge icon that says return rental rental click on it and done. It's ridiculous how It took me 4 tries on the website 3 phone calls I got kicked off the phone call twice then they called back I wasn't able to answer. So literally I left the trailer there and took a picture of it and hoped for the best.. It's a ridiculous system after all of these years I don't know how you guys manage to still screw it up.
Carl K.The truck had multiple scratches on it. Also the truck did not drive smoothly at all and had a leak on the back right corner that damaged furniture that was inside the trailer. The people working at the pick up location had great customer service but the truck was horrible

This is false advertising and honestly am really disappointed with excessive withdrawls from my account for a toll that you are on route of. Not only that but you had already overcharged me to begin with, and a month later you are still adding charges? Do not use Uhaul. And If you must, take pictures & video. Before and Upon starting the vehicle. By far the most absurd experience I've ever had.Conspiracy to changing his name while sending me 4 different contract receipts. All with over 100 less miles than I had started with. Their contact forms don't work either. Seeing as I sent an email out days after this happened. That was Feb 4th.

Josephine C.Made the reservation, got to the place and the truck was double booked. Called U-Haul and they sent me to a second place. This place was closed. Couldn't use mobile check in since there was no keys in the lock box. The next day they they sent me to third place and finally got a truck. They told me they were giving me a free upgrade and $50 bucks off. Didn't get either at that time. Called after moving since you're not charged til after everything is completed and I got charged full price… got $10 bucks off and they said I should have another $50 within 5-7 days for the inconvenience. It's been five days so we will see. If I would have absolutely needed to move that day I would have been out of luck. The whole thing was a mess. The workers were cool at the places we went, but the company, most of the people we spoke with over the phone, and the systems were terrible.

When arrived at ecomart, both were unavailable. after speaking with UHaul representatives and assuring me they had both items needed, sent me to this location. They didnt have a truck readily available nor did they have any dollies. They were able to find one for me. The representatives from this location accommodated my inconvenience and found me a truck. Disappointed in online reservation system. Pleased with onsite service.

Peter H.I rented a 6x12 trailer and the rails to attach tie downs to were in rough shape. On one side (lower) was a wood rail that was easy to attach ratchet straps to. Both opposite side and the other upper were narrow wood strips with small slits to slip a rope through which I needed to fashion a bunch of loops to secure the load. Would be nice to have the rails throughout to secure the load.

Mark V.The truck was ok for very short moves. I definitely wouldn't load it to its maximum capacity. It had 149,000 miles on it and it showed. The steering was not only loose it had a "dead spot" in the steering where it felt unsafe above 40 mph. I would have stopped what I was doing and switched trucks however it wasn't an issue I haven't dealt with before with other vehicles. The employee that assisted me was great. Made picking up the truck very easy. I will rent from this location again and again because the staff is always top notch.
