But I would like to dispute the 3 gallons of Gas charge. Because I top it so when I drove from the gas station to your place the gage is exactly at where I picked up.

The U haul truck right side mirror was hanging in air. It was too risky for me to drive the truck with the faulty mirror. This is poor maintenance that nobody checked the mirror prior to giving the truck to me I rented a $7 dolly which was no good as it was not even rolling and making loud noise. I ended up purchasing a dolly from a nearby store I did the online checking and uploaded all my information prior to picking up the truck. Still I was asked the same questions again. I had a very poor experience and I was lucky that nothing happened to vehicle

JIMMY AStaff was rude and was trying to charge me $2,000 for a truck I dropped off the same day, they didn't check it in untill the following day proceeded to tell me I didn't drop the truck off and said I dropped it off at the wrong location than tried to tell me that I didn't drop off the key, very poor customer service, needs to be retrained at how to speak to people and do there jobs correctly so there no chance of "extra charges" for no reason

The evening shift was even better I return the truck about 10 mins after 7 as well as another guy and a another young women was there for help with an online reservation they unlocked the doors and let us in and help us all personal answered every question and wouldn’t let us leave until we were well taken care of ! True customer service here!

IRVING RThe gentlemen behind the counter we polite, informed and helpful. Your truck however was a PoS. Lights didn't turn off, even though they dial was repeatedly turned to the off position upon returning the truck. The radio controls do not work, the tow button on the differential handle is temperamental and the truck had no accelleration. Understanding trucks of this nature are not meant to have aggressive acceleration, any acceleration would have made the driving safer when entering crowded, fast-moving interstates. I was quite disappointed with the performance and condition of the truck, but overjoyed at the office's hospitality and professionalism.

When I asked if I could return the truck after the 4 pm time I had estimated when booking, he scoffed at me and said I couldn’t because it was rented after me. Ok… that’s fine - no need to scoff at me. How was I supposed to know it had been rented after me? It’s why I asked. Then tried to switch it up to nice, but dude, don’t need the attitude for no reason. Needed full names and phone numbers for multiple people in my life when no other Uhaul has ever asked me for this. Didn’t go over the paperwork with me or explain anything, as other locations have every time even if they recognized me from previous rentals. Didn’t have the dolly requested (seems to be a theme) and told me there was a dolly on the truck (there wasn’t). Every surface in the truck was sticky and smelled of weed. No one came out to greet me when I returned the truck, despite the signage saying wait in the truck. Lady inside eating didn’t want to explain a thing to me, and didn’t go check mileage and gas like every other location. I took pre and post photos of mileage and gas just in case they tried to screw me over (they didn’t luckily), but be on your guard. Bathroom soap wouldn’t clean my hands (watered down). Just overall icky experience, but at least the truck worked. Won’t be using again for future moves.

The Trenton location feels like it is in a unsafe area but the front desk representative was quick and got me out of the area safely. I originally was told to go to Ewing to pick up my vehicle. After waiting 15 minutes passed the time the location hours were supposed to be open according to the sign on the door. I went to another area where I saw an employee wearing a U-Haul shirt. When I asked him about needing to pick up my truck he said"I can't help you. I just work here." Might have been the worst statement of all time. I called the main number to find out that your hardworking employee was going to be an hour late to work on a Monday and I have to go to Trenton to get the U-haul. The van I got had terrible air conditioning and I personally thought the trucks were more up to date with cameras when I purchased. Overall left a sour tast in my mouth for the amount I paid for the truck.

MONIQUE WI rented from Hightstown location got an email telling me to go to the Trenton location after I picked up the trailer the Hightstown location call me to ask if I was coming. The Trenton location was 1 hour out of my way and I am unsure why i was sent there if Hightstown had a trailer

Sean SThis location seems to try to rip customers off from their money adding on wrongful extra fees. This particular time. I received uhaul with close to "E" amount of gas. By the time I return actually gave more gas then original amount and mine gas level was very near 1/4 of Tank. I was charged $30.00 extra gas fee. I would refer nobody to go to this location. It's not an isolated situation occurring.

MICHAEL MThe truck was new and in great shape, except for the driver side windshield wiper. Later on when a sudden thunderstorm came up the wiper fell off as soon as I turned them on. A simple thing that put me very dangerous situation on I95 in an area with no shoulder. Fortunately I was 5 mins away from an auto parts store & and could buy a replacement wiper blade without undue delay.

Gerald PI need a UHAUL service at 6:00 AM for a move. I got to the location and did not find a key in the lock box. I had scheduled movers paying $200/hr for a move and had to pay $400 out of pocket extra for the lost time. The truck was also dirty inside with some foul urination smell. I called customer service to be on hold for 1.5 hrs. In the end I had to come back again at 9:00AM tp pick up the truck

Peggie M | Overall ExperienceI don't know who is responsible for this stuff, but after I picked up the truck the first thing I noticed was when I stepped on the brakes, the steering wheel vibrated - a sign of warped front rotors. Then I parked it in my drive overnight and came out to find a big puddle of oil under the engine, I found the oil filter was not even finger tight and was leaking badly. So I tightened it and added 2 quarts of oil. Then I left on my trip and 50 miles out the TPMS light went off, and it started to tell me different tires were flat and I had to pull over. I kept checking them for the first 3 or 4 times, then decided to ignore the system AND the phone charger did not work. This is not what I expect from your vehicles. I've always had good luck with this location, but not this time!!!
james sThe brakes on the truck made a grinding noise and I had to push hard to get the truck to stop even when empty. It felt unsafe but I was on a tight time limit and needed to take it or I would have went back to ask for a different truck. Also the gas on the paper I was given said it had over 3/4 of a tank but it was well under that so when I returned the truck with 3/4 which was more than it had when I got it I was charged a fuel fee.

At the time of the rental return, the manager was unnecessarily rude. Even after expressing to him certain things his employees should be trained on regarding working in customer service was deflected into more rudeness; I couldn't believe this type of response was coming from someone U-Haul has representing their business as a manager. The customer service at this location sucks and I wouldn't recommend a soul to go there for business. Staff people who want to work with people, who can do good for business, and have good ethics regarding the job...Not people who need a paycheck!

Gerald PThe truck didn’t run well. The young woman who processed my return was prioritizing interacting with friends both in person and one on speaker phone, over assisting me. When I inquired about an additional charge “NJ Domestic Service Fee”, she told me (incorrectly) that it was a late fee. When I asked for clarification she got very annoyed and her friend cursed at me over the speaker phone. One of the rudest customer service agents I’ve ever interacted with.
