There was a lock on the trailer that they did not have a key for, and were not able to break off. I had to purchase my own bolt cutters, and it took my own time and my own money. The guy that rented me the trailer said I would get a discount at the store I returned the trailer. When I got to the second location they said he should have taken care of it.
When I made my reservation, it was for a location 2 minutes from my house. Last minute, they changed it to this location, although the original location still had the truck I rented. It took me an HOUR to rent my truck and it was an extremely difficult process. I also had to pay for extra mileage because of the change of location. On top of that, I got charged a $5 flat tax AND a regular tax on the total. I am EXTREMELY disappointed and do not recommend this to anyone!!!!

I assume checkin went OK, your staff was busy cleaning returned trucks, and told me to 'just leave the keys on the seat'. Again, I am ASSUMING all is well, since no one followed up. Its little things like this that make big impressions
We reserved a rental for 7:30AM but when we arrived and tried to use our UHAUL account to pick up our vehicle, we saw that our reservation had been changed to hand delivery at 9AM when the location was supposed to open. We left the location and returned at 9AM and the store was still not open. After 10-15 minutes we entered the store to a long line of people and did not get our vehicle until after 10AM, which delayed our moving plans significantly. We should have been updated via text or voicemail or email that we would not be able to pick up our vehicle until after 9AM. Also the store needed more than just one employee to see customers in a timely manner.
The app was very slow when using from this location.
I did not actually go to this location. Freddy was very helpful and delivered the replacement truck from Trenton to my home
my wife and I where ver concern, the truck was park in the midle of the returned line. Truck was not inspected. Not sanatize for covid-19. My & I had to do the whole cab. I dont know what was your protocole on that. We where also afraid to carry our stuff in the back box. Rrrrrr!

I arrived 20 minutes before my pickup time. I was checked in by 5 minutes after my start time bit the owner didn't have the equipment ready and was a half hour into my 2 hour window for return. He had to come back into the building a pluck a reciever off the shelf to hitch the trailer.

On line booking - when my son booked the truck we were going to one destination and then returning the truck (which was 5.5 mi from the destination). Apparently the mileage we were allotted only got us to the destination (34 mi). I ended up having to pay an addition $4-5 to drive the truck to the U-Haul identified for return. That's not right. You could have most certainly included the extra miles in the original set up. I drove through Trenton during a Trying time just to return the truck. It was not particular comfortable and the. I get charged for the extra miles - just not right. We went from our house to 255!yorkshire, Ewing to the Brunswick ave U-Haul. Exactly where we said we were going. 908.415.8901. I hope you will credit the acct for those additional mileage. Thank you.

Figure out how to charge the right card and dont change location of pickup after confirming a different place. Even after calling and letting them know that they billed the wrong card (uhaul ASSURED me that the card that the reservation was made with would be billed) and changing the payment method ALL charges still went to the wrong card.
Have a sign on your front window that the entrance to the store is around the corner. The front window glass is tinted and I didn't realize you were open yet (another customer doing 24x7 truck pickup said you were opening at 9, which turned out to be incorrect.) You might have such a sign and I could have missed it.
