We were given a very old (damaged) trailer. Took it to Oklahoma from Ohio and on arrival we couldn't get door open and door collapsed. We had to have it towed from VRBO driveway in OK and go pick up a new one. Welding came out of trailer and we were lucky it didn't collapse on the road. Check trailers thoroughly before renting. When returning the trailer back to location in Ohio, the General manager took 3 days rental off our bill for all of our hassle. Great customer service in the end

Josephine T.I rented a van for an upcoming event. The van I originally contracted for had a broken side view mirror. At first I didn't notice it, however, it became evident it was broken. I immediately return the van and was issued another one. When I checked the gas usage it was a little less than a tank full. Since the employees were very busy waiting on customers I decided not to go back into U-haul to say that fuel tank wasn't full. When I pulled into the gas station to replace that gas, I paid a little over $29.00 for gas for only going 10 miles. I understand the gas issue is partly my fault. The customer service was good. The question is: How you can improve: More help is needed.

We pulled up right at 6:59 and parked where designated, but instead of checking us out quickly the guy came to the door and locked it so we could not enter; we were the only customers. I then had to go through phone to log out and had trouble finding the bar code because I thought it was located on building not a wooden box, so I'm going back and forth for about ten minutes looking and neither worker came out to help. Finally, the one white guy with no teeth brought the key back to us, from the drop box, and asked if we could turn the truck around the opposite way and my brother did. In the mean time I'm attempting to ask him where the bar code is and he keeps walking and never turns around to answer or acknowledge me in any way. I keep saying sir, excuse me and he continues to walk back in building like he don't hear me. I was literally out there 30 minutes trying to figure out how to return the truck. Finally, he comes back out a little before and gets in his truck like he was leaving, but instead comes back around in a fork lift to do other work I guess which shows he was not off the clock. Either way what the hell kind of Customer Service is that and yes you can believe I told him he was rude, had no teeth or good Customer Service; who treats people like that for no reason. This dude was still on his job and treated us like crap and I want you to know. This is a large part of the problem today that people don't value their jobs, have customer service skills, or respect other people. There are already a lack of businesses in Trotwood but that definitely makes me not want to use that location again.

Shawn H.The trapdoor was missing half its rivets so every time someone accidentally stepped there they about fell through it. Also, the truck we reserved and was available at the time of booking at our specified location somehow came unavailable. So they moved us to another location 10 miles further so that was extra miles we hadn't planned on. Just overall not a good experience. We just moved 1200 miles in March and put our stuff in storage until we bought our house. That whole big trip the uhaul experience was perfect. But this little one to get stuff from storage to our house, our experience was horrible and I'm not sure we'll ever be using Uhaul again.

brian B.I was told that I don't need to know the exact delivery address and instead simply choose an approximate zip code where the container will be shipped to. However, I had to wait until the container arrived to the approximate zip code before choosing the exact delivery address. This caused the container to arrive a couple of days late. I suggest that in the future, the address can be specified while the container is being shipped. Also, no one could inform me of the progress of the shipping. It would be better if I can have access to information related to the container's location. Finally, I was told that the container will be delivered between 10 am and noon. I wanted to make sure that I was there during the delivery. However, it arrived at 3 pm. They should have contacted me somehow to let me know they will be running late. At least, I won't be sitting and waiting for 2 hours. Communication during the delivery day is important.
Adil M.Imagine yourself drenched in sweat, covered in dust, crying in a corner with U-Haul boxes surrounding you - but then you remember the Earth-shattering experience you had hours before at the U-Haul store signing your name in blood to rent a literal warehouse on wheels. Are you CDL certified? Who gives a shit! Go ahead, drive this behemoth into the sunset, here's the keys. This feeling of power invigorates you to keep moving like a cracked out kangaroo at an Australian barbi. The sun might be coming up but damnit you don't want to pay the man for a two day rental... The team was great, 11/10 would rent again.

Filous B.The only problem I had is that I didn't look at the paperwork that stared the truck had half a tank of gas in it. When I returned he truck I had to et them know that there was no way the truck had half a tank, because as soon as I got to Sidney Ohio the gas light came on. And I had to put gas in it. I looked at the tank before I left and it was on the fist notch passed E. So for me to have to put $40 more in the tank I believe was a rip off. I was not pleased with this at all. And when I returned the truck, your employees were eating pizza at the register --I thought that was sooooo unprofessional.....

She also went the extra mile to check into my VIP credit that was promised by the Cincinnati location. I can't thank her enough!
