Took me awhile to find where the entrance was as there was no one around when I showed for my appointment and one of the entrances was locked. The app to document vehicle damage was a joke and would have taken 30-60 minutes to complete if I hadn't given up and told staff I was not going to complete it. There were scratches and dents all over the vehicle with none previously noted and somehow it was my responsibility to photograph and upload every one so as not to be charged at drop-off time. The photos provided in the app were taken so far away from the vehicle, shot into the sun and in shadow that you could not see any damage. The app kept kicking me out and did not allow me to go backwards or forward and forced me to restart 3 or four times at which time I gave up. I needed to add a 2nd day to my rental when I did not complete my move in time. The reservation center told me the only charges would be an extra day rate with "no additional charges." However when I returned the vehicle the next day, all charges were doubled including being charged twice for dolly rental and insurance rate. At that point I was too tired to argue, paid the overcharges and walked out.Greg S.

The only thing i had a issue with was that my bill gets paid on 27 August of the month i move out on the 2 of September i asked them would i get anything back because i didn't use the month they told me well if i would had moved out on the same of my bill i would have gotten something back i just pretty much lost a whole $110 because they don't pro-rate unless i would have moved out sooner i don't think that was fare or rightNICOLE D.

The wheel on the trailer had loose lugnuts and the tire almost came off when driving down the interstate. I tightened them but had to drive real slow as the tire still had a small wobble. I also had to stop a few times to make sure the lugnuts were still tight. Because of having to go slower, it caused me to go over into a second day of rental by an hour and a half so I had to pay for an additional day.JAMES M.

I arrived at the location and found my truck, but the utility dolly I had rented and already prepaid for online was not in the truck. I went in the store and asked about it. The associate got one for me, and asked me if I needed an appliance dolly as well. I decided to rent one. He told me it would be $10. I gave him a $20 bill. He loaded both dollies onto my truck, took me to his car where he had a $10 bill, and gave me that as change. I returned to the truck to find another representative unloading the appliance dolly from my truck, telling me it wasn't in my order. I explained I had just rented it for $10. He said the price is $12, there is no record of my transaction with the first associate, and I can't have it. His attitude was unapologetic. After some complaining and pleading on my part, I convinced him to track down the first associate and was able to get my money back for the appliance dolly. I was going to pay $2 more to rent it, but the associate had moved on to the next customer. After waiting 5 minutes and still not being helped, I could not afford to wait any longer and gave up on renting the appliance dolly after all. Terrible experience.Philip S.

The truck got the job done but it sounded and drove like it would fall apart at any moment. It was fine for a local job but I wouldn't want to go cross-country in it. I payed for my storage by automatic payment 1 week before my move to my new house. When I requested a credit back they said no. I also rented a uhaul so I can clear my storage locker, I was given a broken vehicle. If "I was not persuaded to buy the 14 dollar vehicle coverage I would have had to pay for someone else damages on the vehicle. I had an awesome experience at your newer facility in Trotwood. I am impressed by the pricing, the layout and the innovative pickup drop off convenience of the truck and easy storage options. I didn’t have any issues until I passed the office hours. Around 7:05 my boyfriend tried to ask about the 24/7 service if it applied for the return of the truck. They completely ignored him while he stood at the entrance waving at the 3 employees inside. He asked me to give a shot as he returned to help us unloading the truck inside the drop off interior area. I then went and stood waving for 5 minutes. I had the lady give me the wait signal with one finger. Another gentle looked at me and said something to the gentleman who helped me with setting up my storage (after 6pm). The gentle who helped me with my storage looked me dead in my face twice and later walked around the counter and turned his back on purpose. It’s understood that the office hours were over. But I had a very simple question. Does U-Haul 24/7 option apply to my purchase. I called customer service and held for over10 minutes just to ask a simple question. I pray I have no other issues with my belongings being in their care.
