Both check in and check out procedures were unclear. I was expecting a swift experience on both ends due to doing everything online. I still had to go into the building and wait to speak to staff members. Perhaps my expectations were wrong. I added gas to bring the tank back up to 5/8 full, as it was when I got the truck, and still incurred a $10 fuel fee. I did not get the receipt until a couple of hours after dropping off the truck or I would have questioned it on the spot. I am unclear what I did wrong here. The truck was great. Location is convenient. Staff was pleasant.

The in person customer service was terrific. However the experience was really frustrating when trying to use the self check out method offered. I couldn't get past the “enter phone number” prompt as it said my number was “already in use”. Re the actual vehicle, it was frustrating that the doors locked automatically almost instantly causing issues with passenger getting in. But overall a good experience. Quick and easy. The vehicle was filthy on the exterior

I wouldn't change a thing!!! The staff and manager were amazing and full of smiles. I will not go to any other place than this location. Thursday guys deserve a raise!!!! Customer service seems to be a lost art but this staff was top notch. Thank you.

Employees don't wear masks in violation of state and locale mandates. A hanging piece of plexiglass at a desk doesn't fulfill the mask mandate, doubly so when the employee is not behind the plexiglass. This location is at risk of penalties if reported.. which I did not do this time.

From the very beginning the door had so much trouble closing all the way. The manager did mention that I have to close it really hard. I will tell you that the staff there were actually PHENOMENAL. It's just that there were aspects of the truck that should have been maintained. It was also extremely uncomfortable, and I have rented trucks just like that 1 in the past. So, it's NOT about them, rather the the condition of the vehicle. I also bought a Lock while I was there, and the guy showed me and said I'd be able to do it, but not only was I unable, none of my friends were able either.even but even my mom tried, and she's really good at this stuff. But it just was not working. I had to go somewhere else to buy another lock. So so I ended up spending like $30 just on the locks. In addition, they did not take me around the car prior to me leaving, As most of car car rental companies will do. Once again I don't believe it is a staff problem. I believe the company makes it difficult for them to do what they need to do. I just was never taken around to see if there was a scratch here or there etc. I it I made it clear that I saw a scratch on on the driver side towards the back. I took out full insurance from you guys, and I only point that out because I want you to realize that it's not like I'm worried about getting Into some trouble.. Regardless of anything, I am covered. So obviously it's most important to realize that I am making comments for the sake of your questions. I did not call and complain. I did not do anything besides what I am supposed to do. I also need to make sure that the toll road was paid for. There were numerous toll plaza's where they wanted you to just continue on the road and Scan my ipass. But I know for sure it wasn't perfect. I spoke to the toll lady after, and she said that no one gets in trouble for it, but they just tell you that you have to pay that toll, once you get it in the mail. She said there's no extra charge and that most people go through the same issue.. Anyway, I'm only commenting, because you asked for my opinion. And... Well I guess you have it. I do want to stress one more time that the MANAGER was AMAZING, and HELPED in a major way. The truck was returned. The staff was incredible! Christopher really helped me so much especially when for some reason the quote I had and showed was different from the system. Both Christopher and the other staff person (I can't think of his name but he was so helpful!) Were amazing and showed me everything and you could see they work hard and take care of the customers. One of the vans had a cracked side mirror and I asked to switch to one that didn't and they worked it out for me to do so! Overall excellent experience!!! Thank you! I will be back!

My debit card was double charged ...and manager on Irving park and Broadway in chicago ill wasnt giving me a call back as to what brought the double charge...he made it look like am nothing and it ain't a big deal even it came up that someone at u haul made a mistake for double charging me..at at now my $31.86 is still pending...

The overall move-in experience has been great. Reserving online was a breeze and the storage unit was ready to go when I arrived at the facility. My storage unit has a few spider webs and a rusty hole in the ceiling but doesn't look like anything is leaking through it so it doesn't bother me that much. I would recommend this storage facility to a friend/family.
