My only comment is that when I picked up the dolly and loaded the car that I did not understand that backing up was a problem with this setup. I returned for instructions and was very satisfied. I also rented a cargo van a day earlier and that was also an excellent experience. These guys were extremely helpful. Would recommend to anyone.

Very busy and waited in line for at least 15 minutes to get to front. Made reservation week prior however they didn’t have the 17’ truck that I requested and they put me in a smaller truck that was same price. A better customer service would’ve went the next foot higher for same price.

The Springfield location twice did not call back when they said they would not when they call center sent them a message to call; they had their phones forwarded to the call center, to the point that the call center couldn’t transfer me; they were a day late delivering and didn’t update.

I came to U-Haul after reserving a vehicle with budget. I had a confirmation with them yet they didn’t have the vehicle for me. I was furious. I came straight to U-Haul. Your employee was top notch. He quickly solved my time sensitive issue, got me in a truck and on my way. I ended up being early because of how quick and efficient he was in processing my reservation. His outstanding customer service today alone has made me a life long U-Haul customer. The guy who helped me return the truck was great too. Will recommend and use U-Haul again for sure.

He asked if I wanted jnsurance. I said no but he charged me for it anyway. He was rude and charged me a heck of a lot more that the quote was and when I told him that he just shrugged. I will NEVER use U-Haul again.

We picked up in the morning with around 10 other people, and only one person was working. The employee was fantastic and did the best her could, but being proactive with the staffing could help improve that pick-up experience. Thanks!

I ordered a 5 x 8 trailer and they gave me a 6x10 which was too big to have been towed by my car so I really put unnecessary wear and tear on my car.

This survey is BS. No question about the equipment. Tye truck was BS. I had to keep it 5 extra days while waiting for friends to help me laod and unload it since you cheap assholes have now made the ramps so SHORT on these trucks that they are so STEEP it is impossible for one person to roll anyhting heavy or tall on them without help. My online reviews will mention how DANGEROUS your trucks are for anyone who is moving. Oh, and did I mention what happens if you try to do this by yourself and the ramp gets wet? Miserable. Never again. Hello Penske.

NOT VERY FREINDLY KINDA A CLUSTER FUCK TO GET A TRAILER. WHEN YOU RESERVE A TRAILER A WEEK AND A 1/2 IN ADVANCE AND THEN GET A CALL THE DAY BEFORE TO GO TO SPRINGFIELD INSTEAD OF LONDON KINDA SCREWS UP YOUR TRIP. THEN PAY DOUBLE TO GET TRAILER DROPPED OFF AT YOUR ORIGINAL LOCATION IN LONDON.NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE.

I had a very poor experience with U-Haul recently (which is unusual- I have used this location several times previously and had a great experience). I rented a trailer on 3/2/19, and because of the pick up time had to return it after hours on 3/3/19. In checking my bank account on the 6th, I noticed I still had two pending charges for the U-Haul trailer, in addition to the charge that had already processed on the 5th. I called Customer Service at the 800 number and spoke with Dawn initially. She shared that the pending charges were because the equipment hadn't been checked in. This was extremely concerning as it had been returned three days prior. She attempted to call the local branch twice, and ultimately left a text message because she could not get through. I then attempted to contact the local store a total of 7 times between the hours of 9-10am EST before someone finally answered. They did confirm the equipment was there, and that she would check it in and "I'd be all set". While I appreciate it that the matter was finally resolved, several things stood out. 1. I should not have had to chase this information down. 2. This poses a risk to your financial assets, and mine. Should someone have hitched up that trailer and taken it, I assume I would have been held financially responsible even though I did my due diligence. Additionally, you as a company would have lost revenue from the missing equipment. I am very disappointed in the service provided this time out, and will reconsider you as my only option in future.

My only concern was the miles allotted for the moving. Our mileage was 60 miles which did not cover our trip from the pick-up location to the apartment and then to our house and the drop-off location. The charge per extra mile was very fair and not a problem.

The truck was in need of repair. Every time we stopped at a light, it sounded like it was going to die. The appliance dolly was also in horrible condition! The belts were not working and the tires were almost down all the way. I likely will not be renting from this location for any of my future needs. All of my previous rentals have gone well but seems like the equipment is going down hill.
