Generally I would recommend this location to other people and have had good experiences with this Uhaul location in the past which is why this poor experience is unusual. I had already reserved the truck ahead time, and in past experiences when I go to pick up the trucks I have a very fast turn around. This time however, it took a half an hour to from when I arrived at the Uhaul center location and began my "check out" until I left with the rental truck. The store associate was very slow, didn't seem to understand what he was doing, was distracted the entire time he was checking me out, kept messing up and erasing my information in the system and would have to reenter my information. It was very frustrating, and it made me late for my appointment. Then when I got into my rental truck I found it filthy! It had dirt, crumbs and sticky stuff everywhere. I then had to spend time to clean the truck and all touch surfaces myself before I felt comfortable. This is especially uncomfortable during this time with Covid. The truck cabin also had a heavy smell of cigarette smoke. Once I returned the rental vehicle no one came outside once I checked in so I had to go inside to hunt someone down. Overall, a pretty poor experience. Not a typical experience. I hope this doesn't continue to be the experience for this location.

Not sure if the mobile pick up feature was not available due to COVID-19 or what, but for some reason I was not able to pick up my truck at the time I requested. I feel there should have been some kind of notification during or even after the reservation to let me know I would have to wait until the store actually opened

Reserved online. Minimal time in the store during pickup. Drop off took about 2 minutes. Very good experience.

This rental did not go as smoothly as my last. I did it online with my phone. The requested pads were not on the truck. The truck shown in the pictures for confirmation had the correct number and license plate, but appeared to be a different vehicle, with different side murals and decals on the rear. When complete, I still had to go inside the store and wait in line to get the key, which was not in a box. The sales associate was helpful and friendly, though.

Had no problem with the drop location. Although my whole experience would stop me from renting from U-Haul in the future. Giving me a rental with an empty fuel tank was moronic! Penske had a full tank of fuel....

Signs out front saying to wait for someone to come out, no one ever did. Sign for a night drop box to leave keys but no actual box. App is terrible to check in because it wouldn't load pics.

Didn't like the fact that I had to buy an adapter to plug into my truck. I believe that you should have a loaner to provide and only charge for it if it's not returned or damaged. I now have something that I will probably never use again! Maybe you should update your equipment to.

I got there a few minutes before closing time and I couldn't find anyone right away to take the keys and cash me out. They were already trying to close everything up. I would suggest they be readily available for customers right up to their announced closing time. Other than that, it was a smooth experience.

More customer service is needed to be able to respond to customers that call in to make the reservations this morning there was a 40 minute wait when we called to see if we could keep the truck for another day we left it where the call back would be made and it was never made and then at 11:24 they called to say no we couldn't keep the truck and it needed to be brought back right away and we had not unloaded it yet from the second round thank you Pamela Stover

The storage unit was very dirty and the doors aren't very sturdy. When we were moving out of the unit on Sunday, August 16, 2020, there was a woman and her 2 boys making a huge scene the whole time we were there. The boys were literally fist fighting in the hallway and parking lot while their mother screamed and cursed at them constantly. It was very disturbing and uncomfortable. When my husband told the attendant about it he said "Yeah, they do that all the time. I probably should've called the police or something." There are cameras all over the place so we knew the people in the office could see what was going on and they couldn't have missed the screaming. We were afraid they'd turn on us if we asked them to stop or got involved. It was not a good situation or pleasant experience what so ever.

Equipment rented for long distance moving should disclose whether or not the truck has cruise control. The lack of cruise control made this rental experience much less enjoyable.

I have 2 things that I want to mention. One is that the cab reeked of cigarette smoke. I am allergic to smoke, and it was making me feel ill. The other is that I thought I was getting more blankets than 6. I paid $10 which should be for a dozen. I really needed a dozen for the amount of furniture I was moving, so that was frustrating. Other than that we were pleased with the truck and the check in and out process.

The guy handed me the paperwork an told me to jus go look for the numbers at the top of the truck he did not instruct me on how the controls or side mirrors worked mind you this was my first time ever even sitting in a uhaul truck in my whole life the abs warning light was on i had my son go back into the lobby an inform the guy an he told my son aw its ok its fine an never came an looked at it just left me on my own it was scary lol but i did figure everything out also i reserved 20 miles only drove 11 but only recived 3$ back and i filled the truck with gas past the intital amout it was supposed to be.

i was not aware that i need to have a smart phone to check in my rental after hours. i rented at 5pm for the 19.95 a day, but was told that because of the end month and that they have a lot of rentals. that i need to have it back on midnight and would need to do a partial check by smart phone, or i would be charged an addition 20.00. i should of had the full 24 hours. before being charged an additional fee. not everyone owns a smart phone.

Vehicle had a service light illuminated. There were other trucks available but they sent me with this one. No breakdown but it was concerning as we were driving around 100 miles and at night.. Check out at the location was a hassle even though I reserved it on line. The entire process was very high pressure towards up selling me on everything from packing materials to labor to move from the web site to the store. I just needed a truck and felt very over-pressured. The whole experience was a big turn off! Will probably try Pensky or another rental company next time. It's been a few years since I've rented anything from U haul. It didn't used to be like this. Sad......
