I had reserved a tow dolly for a move cross country. It would have been nice to make sure the equipment is in tip top shape for such a trip. The tow dolly had tires that were bald.

Have more than one service member on staff on a Friday night. Especially at the end of month. I had to wait over 20 minutes before my cargo van was inspected for turn in. There wasn't a seat available for the wait. It was 5 minutes before someone came in to assist the people who were there before me.

I was charge the wrong price . I was told at the Spartanburg location that I was renting for 1995 and then the Greenville location charged me 109 dollars very very unprofessional and neither location performed their job correctly Customer service was horrible

Truck smelled heavily of smoke when I got in. Had to wait nearly 15 minutes for assistance when I arrived. I missed the check in time by about 10 minutes, if they had been fully staffed I could have returned my rental on time.

I found it hard to give a good review to this location. The equipment was totally fine but where this place sucks is in customer service. The manager, a woman, has a horrible attitude. She doesn't even look at you in the eyes. No smiles, no greetings Nothing. People forget that their job is not just renting equipment. It is making the whole experience a satisfying one to the CUSTOMER - the people that pay for their jobs- If the manager has an attitude like that what do youbexpect from the people under her belt? I will not go back to this store again

The Unit rented worked great and got the job done completely as expected. No problems. Sunday evening I returned the rental with no clear space of where to put it, an app that would not download to one phone(it did load on another phone) and a notification that never came. This was followed by charging my card for 20.00 for not using the non-working app. Minutes after driving away from the facility on the day of the rental, I received a spam text to my phone with the information just provided to the uhaul personnel wanting to purchase the property at the address given. I would recommend the product but the rest leaves a bad taste.

Understaffed in Greenville. Staff who had left for the day had given a customer before me a wrong truck which delayed my checkout. The person who helped me was calm and friendly despite being the only counter help that I saw.

Could not find an open U-Haul location went to SEVERAL different locations according to the the U-Haul locater map and none of the businesses were even in business! Finally found this location after an hour of driving place to place. And was met with disappointment when I found out that they only had a single unit of what I needed to rent available and I was required to return it to the same location! I’ve never had to do this before even under the same circumstances, I’ve always been allowed to return a unit to any U-haul location. So after I was finished with the unit I had to drive it back nearly 2 hour round trip back to the location. Will not be coming back. Apart from this experience this location is fine, with good staff and helpful people. It would be nice if there were at least 2 of a specific unit per location. Instead of one of this and 20 of another unit.

Everything was perfect! We’ve rented a bunch of times from Uhaul. One thing we noticed different this time is having to check in on line which no one told us or we didn’t understand. They change $20 fee if you don’t just be aware. Love uhaul though! We’ll be renting from them again.

they charged me for 2 extra days and for gas 240.00 in addition to the charge I had already paid and the extra 25.00. I have had to call u haul 7 times and now im calling my bank to place a hold on the additional money. this is beyond stupid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had rented a U-haul through Kustom Coaches in Piedmont. When I got there it was all locked up. I called their number several times and left messages. No one returned my call. I arrived there at 4 and they were supposed to be open until 5. I finally called the 800 number and they found me a U-haul in Greenville, SC. Someone should monitor these stores to make sure they are doing business, if not , they should not be able to pretend to lease this equipment and vehicles! I was highly upset!

Brakes on the truck were bad. Had to use the emergency brake to help stop the truck, 26 foot, to avoid accidents. When returning the truck had to wait in line over an hour.

The check engine light was on and the tire pressure light was on. They said the sensors were bad and they had several vehicles with that issue. Does not give a customer / renter a lot of confidence. Fix the dang trucks!

I had booked online, but none of that information was available which meant I had to go through the whole process again! And then I was told that the tank was half full but it was just over a quarter tank! And on top of it all I had ordered, twice now, a dolly and paid for a dolly bu when I arrived at my destination there was no dolly! I called but they were closed.

When they physically moved units around, ours was facing away from the main area, & it took weeks for a fence to be installed. Then a low fence with no top wires and no cameras installed. NOT SECURE.
