Excellent customer service. Very helpful
Daniel WOur intent was to drop off the truck & rent a storage unit. When we arrived about 1:00 pm, their systems were down & were told they couldn’t help us at all. I left my number & drove 40 minutes away to finish other unloading. By 6:15 there was still no call, so we drove back to the location. The system was still dow & they were no help at all. We ended up unloading what was in the truck, driving back home, & unloading it there until 9:30 pm.
Curtis MEverything was great. There were a couple of dings on the winsheild from rocks hitting it from privious drivers but I let them know and took video of it.
April LRecommend cleaning the inside of the front windshield. It was so dirty it made it difficult to see in the sunlight. I’ve rented from this team several times and they do a great job!

Bobby WThe guy at the front desk was not happy about his job at all. It took about 15 minutes from getting there before I got the key even though I had reserved the vehicle prior. Then to top it off, I got my bill once I got home and they put 10$ of gas charges when I used the U-Haul for a total of 10 miles and returned it with the same amount of gas in it. Hopefully this was just a one off bad experience at grove road.

DAVID SI was charged for a dolly I didn’t even receive. I was overcharged for gas when one of the reps told me I would be ok with the gas.
KENYA GThis is unquestionably the worst uhaul I have ever seen. No one at front desk, no one knew where the unit assigned was, overcharged me and the list goes on. Employees seemed like they were recruited under a bridge. Never again.
Ladson BThe radio didn't work properly and kept hearing a noise in the rear of the car. It was a bumping noise especially when I had passagers in the back. But the people that rented it to me said it was fine.

Luther BAfter issues with my original schedule pick up location at Pelham Road, April was very nice and understanding. She offered extra mileage for my trouble having to drive 20 extra miles to this location. We didn't think we'd need it and turns out I went over by 4 miles. She was very helpful and nice.

Ryan OThe truck was ok clean the truck had no ac and the rear lights were out so I couldn't see at night. So I had to go get some lights which added to the truck mileage so I had to pay extra for. The previous truck I rented from that location last week had a busted windshield and smelled bad it also had no right headlight so I couldn't use at night so i had to stip working at night and make an extra trip that morning. No refunds were given. I'm sure none of this was documented and I am a frequent renter I normally don't complain but come on this is getting bad. Staff is very friendly at this location I can say

Yenny F | Overall ExperienceManager Ruben Vega is a really nice guy but he is in need of help. I had hitch and wiring done. Ordered on line but only got hitch first trip wiring was not there had to go back second day for a total of my wait time there of 9 hours . To me that is unacceptable.
Anthony MThe truck smelt like wet dog, or an homeless person was sleeping in. There wasn’t clean in the driving area. The door would not close all the way somebody’s checkbook was in there. That means it wasn’t properly cleaned.
BRANDON TThe staff was rude, unprofessional, not helpful at all. I’ve communicated with the staff over the phone and in person on many occasions, all I ever got was unprofessional staff. I know in person I dealt with the male store manager and over the phone I dealt with a female. I also know in person I interacted with a African American woman and a Caucasian woman ALL were unprofessional. I would never recommend anyone to this particular location. I’ve been a customer with Uhaul for many years and I’ve used them when I moved from the west coast to the east coast as well as north to south vice versa. I give permission to uhaul to look up my account and see how much I’ve used there company and never have I ever experienced anything like this location.

Orvia G | First ImpressionsMy experience, unbenongst to me started the day I rented. I was not informed that the storage unit was not at the same place the drop off unit was. The staff at the Uhaul on Grove Rd did not inform me either. There were weird vibes so before leaving the 4x8 cargo rental where the cust serv rep told me to leave it, I called the general customer service line. they worked everything out and informed me of everything. I was not to be charged for anything else other than the rental and free month storage. So, now that all my stuff is in this storage unit on Grove...the key card they give me NEVER WORKS. from the very first time. I cant get in or out. I had to visit my storage unit several times and each time the reps were slow and unwilling to assist in getting me in or out of the gate. A cust serv rep ended up giving me a code *2425#...one of the cust serv reps came up to me and insisted I inform him who gave me the number so he could find the breach in the system. Luckily the last time I went to gather all my things, the gate was open. I packed all my things and took them to Public Storage. This was such a bad experience.

My only other complaint is that I have a key card for the gate that I was given when I rented my original unit 100 which no longer works since I closed the second unit 123.
