It's not chick-fila... but that's what we're expecting as consumers. Most UHaul employee's I've encountered this year have been mostly grumpy curmudgeons. Just disappointed at their life it looks like. So something's amiss here overall with UHaul corporate. But otherwise you did what you said you'd do... rent me a trailer, hook it up, and get me underway. I would also look into your ease-of-use with your moving help arm - those vendors have no double-checking. I need to write a nasty review on a mover that heard my moving story and revoked my selection.... then 3 more calls an emails to get my money back. I will NEVER use that part of your site again. sorry.Steven G.

I was overcharged, I was advised rental was $19.95 and that was what was stated on The rental Contract but I was charged $39.90, I was also told miles will be $0.59 and that was also on the rental contact but I was charged $0.89, I am extremely disappointed and disputing the charges, I have contacted customer service about the problem too and requested a managerHAWA S.

The woman who served me at this facility was very rude and impolite, she does not know how to treat customers, it is a disgrace to have employees like that. Once we got the trailer home we noticed one of the ratchets that tightens the tire net on the car we were pulling would not tighten. We drove back to the lot and the attendant adjusted it. However on our journey the rachet mechanism failed again. However we made it home ok, but we're disappointed about the condition of the tire rachet. It was apparently bentDAVID I.

This is my favorite U-Haul. I have been a customer of U-Haul for many years. They have the best trucks, and very helpful staff. The vehicle return process needs to be managed better. There is a sign instructing customers to pull into a vehicle return bay and wait in the vehicle for check in. This is not what I experienced. I pulled into the return bay and waited for a lengthy period of time and no one came to attend to checking me in. I instead went into the office to report that I had returned the vehicle.Kent S.

Find people who are interested in more than a paycheck and who can speak to the public without using gutter language. There is one employee at Wake Forest on Capital, who answers the phone and works in what may be refereed to as the office who has no business whatsoever dealing with the public on any level. I frequent this location at least once a month and have been here about 3 times in the past month. In my last 3 visits, I noticed an employee who simply didn't take too kindly to my being there. He avoided helping me, refused to greet meâ€¦the usual signs of a hateful person. This visit, I went in and he was talking to another employee and greeted the customer BEHIND me, I thought he was taking to me. I ask for a van. He says there are none. I asked for a pickup truck, he says there are none. I asked for a 10' truck, he says there are none. I knew he was lying, this is a big location and I've never had an issue with the availability. I left and booked a unit onlineâ€¦online showed that all models were available that day. I decided to do a mobile pickup because I didn't want any problems. Walked in 20 minutes after initial visit , he looked like he saw a ghost, asked for my keys to the van that I rented online, and he gave them to me. That dude is a liar and doesn't take too kindly to me, for whatever personal issues that he has. He doesn't need to be working in the public eye, uhaul needs to knowRon E.

I wouldn't send my enemy to this location. The lady with brown hair that was working on 11/05/2022 was incredibly rude and dismissive. We did self drop off but my husband could not find their drop box so he walked up to this lady to ask her where it was and she yelled at him that she was too busy to talk to him. So he turned around and came back to the truck and we looked around a little more and still did not find it. So he decided he would go into the office to ask. Unfortunately, she was the only one he saw so he tried asking again where the drop bock for the keys was and she continued to walk past him, this time ignoring him, and when he said â€œma'am! I'm just trying to make sure my keys get to the right placeâ€ she kept walking but stuck her hand out for the keys , he handed them to her, and she walked away without a word.KYLE S.

I chose to do the pick up on my phone but the key was not in the lockbox so I had to go inside and wait on line to get the key. When I checked the truck the blankets, furniture dolly, and hand truck that I ordered weren't on the truck so I had to go back inside and wait on line again, and then I had to carry the blankets, furniture dolly, and hand truck to the truck myself. The vehicle's lights were extremely dim, the ignition switch is failing, the interior was filthy, the windows and side mirrors had not been washed. I explained I needed a truck for a trip from Raleigh to Savannah. Despite having many units on the lot, they provided me with one that was beat up, with 109K miles, and in this condition. Obviously, based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend them.David M.

This spot is MASSIVE. I've never seen a bigger U-Haul facility. Signs were clearly marked which made it easy to return my vehicle. Only trouble spot was they seemed understaffed at the time I returned, or just got a spike of customers all at once. We were happy all along with our service of 4 uboxes until there was a total mess about the unloading of the boxes which we ordered(and previously corrected before delivery). Truck was dirty, ashes in the ashtray, completely empty of gas, was not washed at all, filthy. The check engine light came on immediately so I know that it wasn't inspected as safe. The person there was not responsive to requests regarding this vehicle. I turned it in 2 days early and was told i could not even get those days refunded. I will never recommend Uhaul again to anyone after this experience.Mark V.

This wasn't the fault of the staff, but the facility was not clean because other tenants left their trash everywhere. Unfortunately, after moving my things out of the truck into my storage space, there was no where to dump my unneeded boxes & trash which proved to be extremely inconvenient--especially considering I was not allowed to leave trash in the truck itself. Of course, I didn't want to leave any trash in the truck because that would have been rude & inconsiderate of me as a customer, so you see how that created quite the predicament. There are no lights at the unit I had which is in the back of the facility. I would often go there by myself. When I moved out my whole family had to use their phone’s flashlight so we could see to load the truck. Also my unit 259 has the hardest sliding door to close. When I was there by myself I had to stand on the handle and jump to get it to close. Please be sure to oil that or something. I forgot my code, so one of the ladies at the front desk walked me through the whole process of checking in with my code and walked me to my unit. That is going well above the normal customer service you see now days. I was impressed. The only thing I was a bit frustrated at was not easily accessing my code in the account page. Logan got us set up showed us the unit and explained the whole set up, was very helpful. Being we needed to move in after hours it would have been helpful for the sliding doors to opetate.
