The staff were generally proficient and professional. The trailer was relatively clean. However, after getting home I noticed the trailer had no license plate, just a small piece of a paper temporary plate. The representative said it would be ok anyway if I was stopped to show the contract. Not a confidence builder when starting on a 1600 mile trip.

The trailer was clean. Some of the pads I also rented appeared to be washed but had grease stains on them. The trailer breaks had an issue when stopping I could feel the trailer slam into my vehicle hitch. I would notice this when I came to a stop sign. I told the drop location of this issue.

Your requirement for people to use a mobile smart phone to do check-in and check-out processes is worthless to those without a smart phone. I got home and tried to follow the emails which I also got and they would not work because the system required me to be on premise., This needs to change!

I can remember back in the dinosaur days you were not sure if the Uhaul was going to make it to the destination . Then in the late 1970's and early 80's they made a real push to acquire more reliable equipment. good job uhaul

Got van with windshield only partially scraped. When returning van no one was at counter, called the location got no one to answer. Found a sign with manager number on it. A few minutes later employees showed up. Myself and another customer were waiting for about ten minutes.

Great! Brought truck in, they did a quick check, printed out a receipt! Very nice, helpful, and pleasant. Couldn't ask for more. Was impressed with the store as well- clean, neat, lots of useful stuff if we ever have to move again! Really couldn't be happier with our UHaul experience!

I was asked by one of their employees to take another employee into the emergency room because he was stung by a bee and he was going into shock. so I agreed and took him in one of their U-Haul trucks. I received a speeding ticket a month later from a speed camera and the General Manager wouldn't pay the speeding ticket and made me pay it even though I was asked by a Uhaul employee to take him and the Uhaul employee that I was taking to the E.R. asked me to speed because he didn't think he was going to make it. I feel like they should have compensated me for it. in fact, I I'm really upset about it I feel like I really got cheated on this and the General Manager of the Waterloo location was very very rude, he wouldn't return any of my calls and he even hung up on me when I did get him on the phone and I am still at a lose for words at how I have been treated by this company

Took 20 minutes to checkout due to computer problems at the store. Finally had to switch to a different terminal. The door on the trailer I got was sticky. It was very hard to open.

I was charged for dates I didn't use the equipment. The truck and car transport didn't carry the pick up truck. I had to drive 23 miles in the wrong direction to pick up a 12 x 6 ft trailer while there were 3 UHaul dealers in Waterloo, IA and (3 12' x 6' trailer at the dealer on university ave). I have gotten 7 call on when I was going to return the 26 ft Truck and car Transport that hadn't been taken off the lot. I have already been told sever times be the UHaual deal on University Avenue in Waterloo, IA that I would not be charged for extradays. The reservation was suppoded to be cancelled. I then reserved a 26' truck and car dolly, since I had to drive back to Hartland, WI to get a Toyota Camery. I then reserved a 26' Truck and Car Dolly and was told all they had was a car transport and would have to take it. The bank has been called and the $554 of additional charges are bein disputed.

The guys that were working there seemed laid-back yet completely competent and thorough. They were fairly busy when I was picking up my trailer, but they got me in and out in pretty decent time. 9 out of 10 stars… Would rent a trailer and throw crap in to haul 200 miles again ??????????

I was given a truck with less than a quarter tank (I have the picture proof). The hood wasn’t completely shut, so I had to pull over to shut it, on the way to get gas, as soon as I pulled out of the uhual lot. The radio wouldn’t turn on, and the knob popped off. The return service by Devin was very good though, whom was fast and friendly.

The odometer was 100 miles over what the contract stated. The gas gauge was lower than the contract as well. Fortunately the guy in Prairie du chien Wisconsin fixed this and I wasn't charged. Next time I'll compare the dash with the contract before I leave the parking lot.

The problem with the location was beyond your control. The lower rating came because of all the road construction. Otherwise the people at the desk were very pleasant and informative. I would also like to thank Gary, from the Shell Rock office, for putting in so much time to help us find what we needed.

When we walked into the place to return the truck the one guy was cussing and he acted like he didn't want to help us. He seemed like he was on drugs or something, he was way off. Very rude and UNprofessional. Then after he goes to check our truck in he comes back in and in a very rude manner tells us we need to go fill the truck up with gas which we already did before getting there, so then we went back to Hy Vee gas across the street to put even more gas in more than what was in the truck when we picked it up, then at 5:20pm another guy was calling me to questioned me about the truck when the other guy told us to go back to put more gas in.

I often am wanting to use 4 by 6 trailer, I can never find any at the local sights in Iowa. If I owned U-Haul, I would add quite a few of the 4 by 6, or have a few of them that are returned only to the site that you rent them available. The 5 by 8 trailer that I used was okay on the inside but it was filthy in appearance from the road grime, everything on it worked well but it was really dirty.

Your really going to charge me mileage after everything I went through to get a truck and trailer? Uhaul didnt follow through with anything from the beginning. I reserved a truck and trailer in Waterloo, Ia and had to end up driving a hour away to pick up a truck, which I was then told to get the trailer in waterloo, because he didnt have it. I get to waterloo and they have nothing for me. He then found out I was suppose to get my trailer in Fayette with the truck, but the previous renter didnt bring it back. He then tried to find a trailer in the area and nothing under a hour away. I wasnt driving any further, as my days was half over. After everything, I got a non enclosed trailer, which wouldnt even work because it was raining. So, if you want to charge mileage than what about all my time I wasted because of your incompetence and failure to follow through with my reservation? I had to drive 1 hour out of my way to get a truck that I didnt reserve because my reservation was changed. The only good thing about my experience was the guy at the waterloo location. He had exceptional customer service skills and did a great job solving the problem. Fayette location was horrible.

I've used this location twice now and i really liked both experiences. Knowledgeable staff and nice equipment. I really only have one complaint, the road construction around the location, not their fault, I'm just tired of the construction season.

You need to do a pro rate system charging for an additional 24 hours is not right I feel that was ripped off for an additional 24 hours You asked me to have a back in by 738 o'clock and I was there but no reality I cut a cat that for another 24 hours I want a refund back over 24 hours and be pro rated

You really do need to replace the person door at the back of the climate controlled storage area. That doorknob sticks and is tricky to use.
