We rented a car hauler Friday night at 4:00 pm and we were to return it the next day. When the employee hooked it up to our truck he had us turn on all the lights to check them. He said all the lights worked fine. We were to leave for Missouri to pick up a car at 4 am. Around 7pm I thought I would go out and check the lights to make sure they were working. I had running lights but no brake lights or turn signals. I don't know what happened but we could not drive all the way to Missouri without all the lights working. We ended up leaving the trailer at home and just driving the car back to Iowa. When we got home we dropped the trailer off at UHAUL and paid the $69 rental fee even though we never used the trailer. We don't know what happened to the lights. They just stopped working.
At pick up, the trailer door was jammed in the open position and I had to call roadside assistance to get it closed after the trailer was loaded
This location always has quality equipment and a staff that is helpful and focused on making sure equipment is safe, roadworthy and meeting your rental needs
Both people I worked with were very cordial and easy to work with. I have worked with some in the past at that very location that were not service oriented so this was a great change. And they were very busy when I returned the pickup in the afternoon.
They quickly and efficiently processed the truck return. It was much appreciated after a long day.

The store was clean and organized. The staff was friendly and helpful. I did notice when they were helping me there were 2 other employees working on something together but neither 1 stopped to help another customer that entered the store. I believe the gentleman just left after waiting several minutes without being acknowledged
The location of the store was where i needed it to be. My issue with this rental was the way the online order was managed. NOT WELL! If you are going to have an online system, then it should work all the way through. Reserving was fine, online checkin was completed but when it came to this working for pickup, the system was not accesible AGAIN and we had to start completely over. We were not able to use any of the online information. The staff would not even allow us to use my credit card over the phone. Don't get me started about the return drop off online either. You need more technology support if you are going to run online. This is not the only store i have dealt with regarding this issue!
When I made my reservation online, I specifically did not add insurance coverage. When I picked up the vehicle, the employee at the register said nothing about an added insurance charge -- I never agreed to the charge. When I went to return the vehicle, a $10 insurance charge was added to my total. I was told it can't be removed since the rental is already completed.
There is a sense of disorganization surrounding the entire location. I believe part of it can be attributed to the road construction. I realize that there has been a massive amount of change made over the years and belief part of the sense of inefficiency is caused by having to put all of the additional "stuff" in a location that is limited in both size and access.
The facility is not well organized inside for customer service. The guys were great!
Very helpful at the return location. We were able to coordinate our storage units and leave the truck at a convenient location.
The truck's transmission seemed off. The help both yesterday and today were very nice and helpful. I don't like all thÃ© online stuff. And it is ambiguous to define what you say dings are on the truck. You had an x on things that I didn't expect so it was hard to do a walk around looking for things to report before I got in to the truck. I prefer having it more spelled out.
The agents need to be more friendly and polite. UHaul is gaining my service and money. Instead they just treat their customers like crap. Waited on the phone for about 25 min couldn't even understand the associate. If I was running a company like UHaul I would definitely look into the employees that work there. Unprofessional, rude and I don't give a F*** attitude. That's how a lot of customers feel like. Will definitely not go back , there is other Moving companies out there.
Make sure u inform ur customers to take pictures of the equipment n gas n mileage before they leave n after they return the uhaul n also clearly state that when you return it after hours to make sure they check it in otherwise they will get charged if you guys have to do it the next day as well as to inform ppl about the green tabs on the equipment n let them know even if they don't use it n there kids play with the equipment with out there knowledge YOU STILL GET FREAKING CHARGED FOR THAT TO
Charged me three times what it should have been. Now I have to contact someone work with the bank just to get my money back.
