We reserved a 10 ft truck two weeks prior to getting it and there wasn't one available.. We were told we could get a 15 ft truck for a 10 ft price. We opted out of the trucks and went with a van because a 15 ft truck was too big. We had it for approximately 4 hours and turned it back in. When we arrived, we had to wait for about 10 minutes because there wasn't anyone in the office. When Daniel finally came in he had no mask on as it is their policy on the door to have one when you come we asked where his mask is and he said in the car and he would go and get it. We told him nevermind let's just get this taken care of. We questioned the amount and needing to be credited because it wasn't as many miles that we thought it would be. We told him that the money had already been deducted from our account - he said it showed on the paper that it didn't, but it did. He acted, like we were bothering him and had a smirk on his face like he didn't want to be bothered. He went outside to talk to the female employee then came back inside and told us we would only be charged the lower price. We did get a credit for the larger amount taken out of our acct. When we were done, he didn't even say thank you. Another gentlemen was in there behind us and Daniel acted like we didn't exist and started taking care of him. We were very disappointed in the service from this guy. We have used Uhaul before but from now on we will probably go somewhere else. We will pass that information on to anyone that is looking for a Uhaul to rent.Rhonda T.

I have rented a van from this center several times just in the last month+. The people have always been friendly and go above the norm to make sure that everything is fine. Today was the exception - I walked in the door to return the key and pay my final bill. I was met with a gruff individual who was on the computer, telling me to move the van inside the gate. This was a first, I have always parked in the parking area, they check the mileage while I wait inside where it is warm, and then let me know what I owe. The people were always nice and polite. The person today - not sure - but I think it was a female was just plain rude. Rude enough that I have decided not to use that rental center again. I have a vehicle in the shop and rented a van to haul some items and have done so numerous times over the last month+. I have spent a great deal of money with this center during that period. But I don't do rude - this individual seems to always be there and the nice people who were there before are now gone. But enough is enough; I am in business for myself and would never jeopardize my business being rude to anyone who is using my services. Thus the reason for the poor rating - this individual has soured me on going to this location ever again. There is no reason to be rude to anyone - especially a paying customer. In the future I will walk to another rental location before I would use this one. I was disappointed and angry at the level of service this individual doles out - so much so, that I don't want to deal with them again. So I stood in the cold waiting for my ride to return home. Someone changed my reservation on December 10th to this location. U-haul swears I did it, however I did not. Why would I drive 10 miles out of my way to pickup when a location was 1.5 miles from my house? Truck was not available for remote pickup when I arrived. It cut into my time by 38 minutes. 24 hours prior to the rental, we got a phone call from U-Haul to confirm the rental of the car hauler. We were told we could bring the rental truck and the car being hauled to the rental location for them to hook the trailer to the truck and help load the vehicle. Therefore we brought the vehicle to be hauled with us. We asked the employee to help us with that and he said all he knew how to do was to hook the trailer to the truck, he didn't know how to load the car. We had to figure that out by ourselves. He suggested we call a U-Haul representative to walk us through that process. After watching You Tube videos on the process it was very simple and it seems like this should be something employees would be trained on. In addition, it caused my wife to follow me to the rental location (wasted trip) when she could have been home doing other things. It seems there is a disconnect between the U-Haul call center and the rental locations.Gary E.

Some are your employees are not wearing protective masks. I visited your store at least 20 times over the last month and the male behind the counter NEVER wore a mask. Most of the women did. Need to work on reservation taking and documentation. I personally reserved a vehicle Friday morning to be picked up the following morning Saturday at 9. I was able to pick up a vehicle promptly but the data entry needs to have more care. I've read reviews where the reservation process at this location is not very good. The employee who attended me immediately told me I could not park my rental there because it was full. I indicated to them that I scheduled to drop it off at their location a week in advance. They hassled me to show them paperwork which I did not have because I did everything through the app. After some back and forth, they finally told me to just leave it and that they would close my rental out. I was pretty much rushed out of my truck and told I would receive an email with a confirmation but I left feeling really uneasy of my rental not being closed out correctly. I will not be dropping or renting from that location and will not recommend anyone I know to do so either if that's how they treated me on my first time ever using Uhaul.Jose C.

While staff at this location has mostly been courteous and friendly, they failed to stock trailers with blankets I rented on my last 2 contracts. On most recent rental, staff did not provide me with the trailer that matched my paperwork. When trailer was disconnected for emergency purposes on return trip to Wax rental center, I was unable to track trailer position after it was moved by another U-Haul franchise. The South-Arlington center reluctantly released trailer to my possession because my rental agreement did not match trailer I.D., however I was able to give specific details of trailer contents that convince them it was my trailer. I checked trailer online to expedite rental process but this is only helpful in speeding process if staff stocks trailers with all of the options that were selected in the rental agreement, whether that be tape, blankets or furniture dollys. If these other rental items are not prepared in advance for the renter, then what benefit is there to online check-in? Access to trailer was also blocked upon my arrival, and required moving other U-Haul equipment to access.RONALD F.
