The truck itself was clean, well-maintained, and easy to drive. I was especially impressed by the convenient drop-off process, which allowed me to return the truck after hours without any hassle. They took my money knowing that it’s not a 24 hour access facility. I found a unit somewhere else and moved my things there. Long story short I need my money back. I never moved in the unit at all.
Whitney H | Online Move InEverytime I’ve had an interaction with staff (other than when I called to speak with the manager after the gates didn’t open once and received a $10 credit) they were uninformed or unhelpful. I had moved out and called up to the office to inform them. I was told I needed to take a picture and come by the office. I get around via e bike and my phone camera didn’t work & I always see a grounds person at the facility so I asked if one of the staff could do so for me instead & email me a receipt confirmation. A week went by and I hadn’t received an email. Called back and spoke with the same staff before , Kody I believe, and he said he remembered speaking to me and assured me he was headed there himself to do it for me. He sent me an email shortly after. The price for the small unit I had was unfeasible and my main reason for moving out especially with the almost $10 price increase that occurred. The previous storage unit I came from ( Atlantic Self storage) had a great discounted 3 month deal upon move in and I had a bigger unit for still less than what I was paying after that 3 month promotion ended. The location is convenient but the price and service / lack of knowledge & training or the staff is not.

I was so sketched out, that it took me DOUBLE than normal time to get this truck. I'm am an empathetic person, but this location was connected to a walmart parking lot on the worst side of town. If you're in Jacksonville, you already know to stay away from 103rd street. I will only ever use an in-person uhaul again. Using the mobile uhaul was incredibly frustrating. I'll never ever ever do a mobile pick up again. And definitely not on 103rd st Jacksonville fl. (Loved my movers though. They were 5 star)
Caesy CThe RV/parking storage area was in shambles. Trash everywhere, peoples junk filling their rental spots. Someone was using my assigned spot to park their car when they took their truck out. I submitted a move out request via the app on June 15th, I received a late rent notice via the app a few weeks later, attempted to contact the location with no response, I then received an email stating my rent was late. I attempted to contact the location again, with no answer. I reached out to customer service, who attempted to contact the location, with no success. I then received a letter in the mail stating my account was being sent to collections. I tried to call the location every day for a week and no one ever answered. I was finally able to get customer service to get ahold of them on July 19th and have my account cleared out. Shady business practices!

I arrive at the location and salesperson went into an office and spoke with a man who told her yes to the first month free. Very friendly person.I went to look at the location of the unit and told the person that I would be back in the morning to sign the contract. When I arrived the next morning the person told me that she was the manager and that the promotion was only if you rented a truck. In a very rude manner she kept repeating that the sign is on the door as you enter. I only purchased the unit because I had movers waiting on me. Atlantic was going to rent a unit to me at three months half price.

Taniesha t | First ImpressionsI moved my vehicles from this storage due to poor security, and the staff not caring at all, my 2 vehicles were damaged different occasions. First incident my vehicles were hit twice from the occupants that was next to my parking spot and nothing was done about it after looking at the damages happening to my vehicles on camera. Second incident my front left headlight was damaged informed management and nothing was done about it nor were the cameras reviewed and the last straw was when I went to check on my cars on the 12th of August I drove towards my rented space and saw the tarp that was covering my vehicle had been removed and saw my one car stripped from parts under the hood along with the rims my car was on also parts on the inside ripped out, my outside chrome mirrors were stolen on both sides and whomever stole the rims was so kind and replaced with tires and bricks likewise my trunk hood was cut near the lock area to see if I had any kind of music/speakers. I don’t recommend this place for no one and their personal belongings if they care about what’s being stored. This has been the worse 2 years ever I would never refer anyone to this location!!!! Oh but they will send a bill monthly faithfully for you to pay but not accountable for damages that take’s place on the property.

James D | First ImpressionsThe only complaint 3 have is at the time of my rental which was all done online I rented a truck an a storage room and was given the access code, at no time was I told that there was a web site where you could go to otherwise than the one where I saw an inventory of my payments and storage # I continued to contact corporate and the storage facility to no avail to get the code again after 2 years finally after going into the office of another place they directed me to the website, which could have been done all the other times I called.

I was lied to by the manager Jacob after they erroneously placed a lock on my unit stating non payment even though after reviewing my file there where no late fees associated with my account and I was paid until next month. He stated that he would refund me the amount because there was no lock smith available until pop a lock shows up and charges 140 and magically the lock smith who he stated was in Tallahassee was at my unit in less than 10 mins. So in conclusion unprofessional staff unsafe storage and a all around horrible experience!

nora c | Overall ExperienceMy unit became roach infested when calling office i could rarely talk to local office staff when reporting and resolving the issue national staff would take a msg and i never received a return call had to go to the office there i was given ins number to call and was told uhaul dont do pest control i lost my key i wasted time calling uhaul for help to no avail went to office someone was to meet me with fogger for me to use as the ins agent advise them to do the pest control no one showed went back to office next day young lady met me and gave me the foggers i set the off in the unit my unit door was stuck calling uhaul call goes to national as usual they took my number msg surpise i got a call back only to get stood up someone was to meet me at my unit they didnt show i had to go to office and they did show up this time sadly i threw away all my clothes and other items and moved the remaining things to a different storage place uhaul facilty and customer service was awful i would expect this company to provide pest control and check unit doors condition and great customer service these units are not cheap.i struggle to pay im on a fixed income but i wanted a safe clean secure and kind people to assist.when needed

THOMAS C | First ImpressionsA truck parked next to our camper covered our camper in mud and debris. The truck hit two cars in the space on the other side and U-Haul did nothing. This place smells like cat urine. Staff at the neighboring facility and over the phone are virtually useless if you can get them at all. Staff should be present at the Wesconnett facility but U-Haul cuts corners so no one is present on site. You have to drive a couple miles down the road to get anyone. I would definitely not recommend this storage facility to anyone.

I called the number for the location and it was a corporate number and I had to go the blanding site to cancel my reservation because they couldnt do it over the phone i ended up having to walk all the way to blanding just to get a refund. The website says no where on there that its a hub location or 2nd entaty that the main hub is 6100 blanding blvd and there will be no one on the westconnect location and that it isnt 24 hrs when it clearly says it is 24 hrs. So i am waiting for the 72.10 to be put back on my card. I will not recommend ur company for storage.

Charles DMy significant other was recently diagnosed with a terminal illness and our lives sudden changed! We made a decision to move out of town closer to his family as he receives treatment. I was so worried about moving our belongings to a new city and still managing his care. Donyell was overly amazing in eliminating my stress of moving!!! She demonstrated excellent customer service skills and professionalism! Donyell was with me during our entire moving process...from choosing packing supplies, reserving our storage unit, booking the U-Haul truck, and even providing kind words of love & encouragement! If I could come to her store EVERY time I needed to move...I totally would! I would overly recommend anyone moving to or from the Jacksonville area to stop by and see Donyell! Never has my moving experience been so carefree and smooth! Thank you Donyell for your awesomeness!!
Jasmine HThe truck I drove had an issue with a break light. The light beeps and throughout the entire time driving. I even called roadside assistance thinking there was an issue with the truck but they cleared it to drive. Apparently management at his location knows about the issue and still decided to put me though the unbearable experience of driving with a loud beeping noise. I am not exaggerating, I rented a 26 foot truck and the beeping was loud.

Tammy FI got charged for fuel when I put the gas tank at exactly the same place as when I got it and I got an extra charge for using the dolly because of the paper thin zip tie they use broke. And the dolly never once got used. the box truck was falling apart interior wise. and could barely get out of its own way running like crap.
Alexander LWent to one location asked for a truck with the price 19.95$ they ended up getting me scheduled for a 29.95$ truck that I didn't ask for only needed a small truck for a washer and dryer. Got upset but the location I was at to pick up fixed the problem. Wish I would have known I was spending $100 for truck miles and gas because I would have paid someone gas to use there truck and not a uhaul. I could have saved so much more money instead of being broke now due to all the fees and crap for a uhaul truck. Never will I do that again.
Amanda MVery smooth I have rented from uhaul several times. I recommend to check in on line it cuts the time in half or more at the location I have never spent more than 15 mins after i reach the counter.

GLORIA WWhen we walked into thw office we were greeted by a smiling face! I believe her name was Donray, not sure, i know the first part was Don. She was peppy and very professional and nice. That girl needs a raise!!!! Then when we dropped the truck off we were greeted by another very nice lady. It only took about five minutes and we were gone. We live in Brevard County and it was so nice to have everything ready as soon as we walked in. Thank you UHaul!!!
Robin LBoth women that helped me at this location were great! The one who initially rented my van was pleasant and prompt, I did not get her name. When I returned the van, Brenda was incredibly friendly and accommodating; she offered to take care of a rental day because of an issue I had with the vehicle... Something not even entirely the fault of uhaul! (stuck). Thanks again for the great service ; highly recommended!

June LI had left my granddaughter ipad in the cargo van and when I drop the van off after hours I contact the office which I though I was talking to the office direct office to inform them to put it up and the very next day I went to pick it up the didn't have it and II track the ipad there. Very upset

Erlinda SStore front does not give you the idea it is a full service U-Haul distributor. I have lived here for 15 plus years and thought it was only a storage unit facility. Now that I know I can rent the normal U-Haul items, this locale is much more convenient than the one further away I have used in the past. 2 great employee's, very helpful who supported me in my rental process. ROBERT SThe clearance height wasn't announced anywhere. I don't know if it was because it was a van but it's a nice thing to have. Also, the last time we rented a van there was no partition between the cargo part and the cab. This rental's van had a cage between the cab and cargo space which meant that we couldn't leave the ac on while we were organizing in the back without risking vehicle theft. As this is Florida, ac availability is quite key. These are suggestions, not complaints, we love this company and will readily choose you again.
